D1 in Bhutan 🇧🇹; Flew from Kathmandu to Paro

We took an early morning DruAir flight from Kathmandu to Paro and had a great views of the Himalayan mountains and Mt Everest. (Tip: asked for the left hand window seat for the view). The flight time was only 45 mins. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our guide, Pemba, and was driven to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan 🇧🇹. The journey is about 1h20mins. Along the way, we paid a short visit to Tachogang Lhakhang which is a beautiful landmark located along the Thimphu-Paro Highway. After that we had lunch in Thimphu and was sent to our hotel for rest and relax for the day. Our hotel, Drukgyal Twin Tower Hotel, has a great view of Tashichho Dzong. We spend the afternoon roaming in Thimphu city and went back to hotel for our dinner.
