D7 Mt Kilimanjaro Hike - Summit Day
Day 7: School Hut - Uhuru Peak- High Camp
We start off at around midnight and walk steeply upwards to the summit glaciers.
We will be climbing scree for 4 to 5 hours but gain incredible height over a short
distance. The views are spectacular. We should be on the crater rim at Stella Point
(5739m) as the first rays of the sun hit us. Spectacular ice cliffs within the crater
surround us and the views to jagged Mawenzi peak and beyond are breath-taking.
Another hour walking takes us to the summit, Uhuru Peak (5895m). We begin our
descent by returning to Stella Point and then descending on scree slope and track
back to Barafu Camp for breakfast, before finally heading down to High Camp
for a long well...

The trail is after POS2 is steep and slippery. Coming down is much more difficult than going up as you easily slide and fall. We only tried 15-20 mins after POS2 and felt that it’s a bit too difficult and dangerous for us (as some slippery slope is near the cliff edge). So we retreated back to POS2 and rested there till sunrise

The background music is very intrusive and monotonous. It is even overshadowing your comments and cannot understand what you are talking about. You should let the natural sound of the trek, which will be very effective. A live comment or conversation with your guide or locals would be more fun to watch. Good luck.

I am gonna make use of the comment free space underneath this clip :P. For the people that made it, which should probably have me excused for typing some of the stuffs I am about to type, since they are speculations that involve people like them (and thus them as well) and anyone in the future that get to watch this clip and at certain point decide to diverse him/her self with a lil bit of comment... It is however gonna be fairly long one :P. So at this point I am pretty sure the Local People of Bulgaria and maybe even Plovdiv in particular are <more> impressed by this clip (I should say those kind of clips) than the people that make them. And that in fact the aforementioned "video materials" are in fact made as a little thin rope for exactly those people to "hang on"... There is just something about it... that makes me think only a person that have spent their literal entire lives from like pre elementary school, kindergarten even up until their somewhat late more "adult" years (or at least when they think they've achieved that state after the government shenanigan, variating from country to country, of maturity on 18... driving, drinking, voting, mating, smoking... you know the "mature" things... (And not making money as the one, only and real adult activity in existence in the current world) Now matter of fact is that real sums simply do not exist underneath the BG tag, but in scale some people are still way more ~adult in that way than others which remain "Forever Young"... I mean you should stop and think on the lyrics of that one song "Do you Really Wanna be Forever Young?" and what it is really asking you... or not... Like I am also pretty sure Health does matter as well... but there is the Health Without Money = Sickness thing when you think about it. But obviously being very money able and have bodily disabilities would absolutely be not pleasant as well... and dully consider (no offence ment) Being Old in itself is an overall body disability... or you can think about it this way... if you don`t feel you are physically incapable of something you were used to being able to do, you probably aren`t old yet. Now with all this said I think I should make myself skip a lil bit closer to the point. <Nothing> of the stuffs on the clip is impressive in any real way, have worth or meaning... or anything... except if you are not <used to> or even "trained" to perceive it that way which mostly happen to, as I've said, locals. So that is mostly a "gift" for them. Now one more "argument" which from the side may look like it can be used "against" my statement... but trust me... not really. See This city is presented very well (Plovdiv) in the latest few videos I've just seen... But do you know what City is Bigger, more Advanced and dare I say presented from the right angles even more of a Looker... That is right... the Capital... Close to 3 times the population, but with it`s fare share of culture, gloss... now there are some factors I simply cannot in a firm sense go into details about Person to Person perception of people and how and why it is <very different> in between those two Cities... on macro scale (but even into every interaction outside of very closed circles) and do you know how that otherwise Even Bigger and Larger Capital City, in comparison to Plovdiv, looks in itself in comparison to Tokyo... From a POV (that briefly happened, for good or bad I insist to state)... It looks like Dirty Peasant Hut next to a Cathedral... The End... now scale Plovdiv to this and you get the picture of what I am saying. No real foreign person will never be really be impressed by anything in this country Bulgaria... Ever... Not by it`s History, not by It`s current... it`s all a hoax... And lemme reassure you... definitely not by it`s future either.
