The Panamera really looks good when you see it in person. Pictures are not enough!
This show is great, Vicki is a wonderful presenter. Why they ever cancelled the Show is beyond me.
I absolutely love how she talks to you like a soccer mom about the interior while sliding it through corners like the love child of of Jackie Stewart. Brilliant.

this is the first time i have ever heard vicki saying "brake horse power" instead of "bhp"
I actually managed to have a look at a Panamera at a local dealership and the turbo had a fuel consumption of 15mpg city and 23mpg highway.
This is according to the mileage testing procedures of the United States.
It's not really that great to look at but the interior is really something to behold and everything seems to be screwed together quite well.

I don't think there's dimishing returns. The Panamera will hold much better value over time compared to the Caddy. It's not always about performance, which is undoubtedly venerable with both vechicles.
for me, boxter and cayman are kindve in the same boat. their lower prices cause them to be driven by people seeking the porsche image while not knowing much about the brand and performance of their cars. i juts read an article in this month's car and driver where a cayman S beat a 911 S around a race track (lightning lap) so i guess both the boxter adn the cayman are the genuine article

@paikmendez Actually it weighs less if you talking about a metric ton...which you are by spelling it "tonne". Porsche is just incredible at keeping the weight down. They are probably the best manufacturer in the world at keeping their cars lightweight.
If i can afford one, i'd get one. I think it has great potential.

I dont think that anyone realizes that Porsche originally was creating that car to be the next 928. It started out as being the concept 928GTS but they decided to name it the Panamera. If you do look though, notice the back end and how much its rounded rear hatch resembles the back end of the 928. And yes, the front end looks A LOT like a 911, and thats EXACTLY what i said the first time i seen pictures of the concept, thought to myself, they better not name that the new 928 just for that reason

That could be related to driver and weather conditions. Three seconds would mean more if it were the same driver, same day.
surprisingly, seeing the car in real life makes me realize that the Panamera isn't that ugly. i saw a turbo version on the highway once and i can tell you, it looks pretty good, definitely the front end. However i prefer a BMW M5 :P
0-62mph is 3.5 seconds according to motortrend.
boxter S i would argue is a true porsche in performance, arguably not in image. the boxter spyder, on the otherhand, is pure porsche

When the panamera first came out, I thought it was the fugliest thing I had ever seen. It grew on me over time. The rear spoiler should be kept up at all times

@3voBlanche dont think it would fit man, you see how huge that engine was? plus porsche gets just as much or more horspower out of there H six's..

Porsche should give the upcoming 911 (typemodel:911) two engines: The flat 6 boxter and this roary V8. That would make a fucking sick a car. They should only put it in 1 911 version, a new one: something like a 911 GT4.Keep it nice and light and then that fat 500 horsepower V8 in the back, wow.
You know at first this car, awesome as it may be, is terrible to look at. But it's actually starting to grow on me, it looks pretty decent. I would buy one if I had the dough.

Gorgeous, and looks a lot better in person.. But for the same money you can have a Quattroporte Sport GT S, which is less powerful at least 5 times better in proportion. So if someone could send me the previous model Quattroporte, -the LED's and front grill don't make the 2010 model any better- I would be a happy man!

@mobbrollsdeep i hate hatchbacks too, but this really isnt a real hatchback.
It may not be th best looking car in th world but it will combine evrything else u could possibly want from a car.
Dear Porsche,
Please keep the front of this car and make it into a sedan with a trunk. I really hate the hatch and lines it induces from the car's profile. The front of this car is astonishing, especially in person. Wow

I am a porsche owner and I can say the only true porsche in my mind is the Boxster or Carrera.
True, but I recon a jag xfr, merc e63, audi rs6 are just about as quick, better looking and cheaper.

lol top gear is entertainment with a car twist. they review cars but its always a stand out car.
fifth gear is a bit more hard-core for your average top gear viewer but, if you aren't a car enthusiast why did you subscribe/search for fifth gear? to bash them?
Ya, but Vicki is way hotter than any of the top gear presenters. Probably a better driver too.
