Great editing job. Almost as good as Dicovery plus no commercials!! Keep up the good work Otto and August. Can't wait for the next one. Hoping to see a little of the family in future episodes
During the Vietnam War, a young Marine in I-Corps was loading a cargo net during a helicopter pick-up when his foot was caught in the netting. He went up with the load and rode it all the way to the landing with no one knowing about it. He landed and went back to his unit. True story.
It's great to see you back in action, Otto. We made a trip to Alaska in 2022. We camped at the fishing hole campground. We also made a trip to your homestead and spoke to your sister Sunshine. What a nice lady! We couldn't fit in the tour that day but had a great time in Homer. Keep up the great videos!!
this channel combines all of my favorite YT content .. marine fishing boats, commercial vessels, heavy welding, off-grid homes, marine-anything, all done is beautiful Alaska ...so awesome! . you guys will be at 100K subs soon!
You and your whole family are the coolest and most down to earth family on this whole planet. With all of the videos you have out I spend 6 to 7 hours a night watching them. I would love to live the way you and your family do. With living on disability because of a motorcycle accident I couldn't live in Alaska. I only get $1,100.00 dollars a month. A friend of mine has been living in Anchorage since 1975. He flew me from Florida to Alaska. We went out on a charter boat halibut fishing in Seward. That is my dream to live in Alaska some day. I don't think that is ever going to happen. Living in the lower 48 states SUCKS. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
Otto I love how smart you are. You really are like an idol. You have so much intelligence I wish I had half the knowledge that you do. I miss the show on discovery I'm glad to see you have your own show now.
I'm a Realtor for the last 22 years. I have never seen this type of delivery/construction. I absolutely appreciate this. Whatever it takes to get it done. Wow. Awesome. Great Job Otto and Crew.
Hi guy it’s great to meet you on RUclips your very pumped about this I am a retired engineer on tugs till I was hit with 440 volts of electricity lost both legs and left hand and deaf now but I still work part time on Detroit engines
Thanks for putting in a noticeable effort to improve the audio, could still use a bit of finesse, but this video was definitely a much more enjoyable watch. Can't wait to see what's next!
You not only delivered a house, you also delivered a bunch of firewood. That’s the part that surprised me. I figured they would get their firewood near their house.
Thanks for sharing your life still with us. There's nothing l care to watch on tv. But l have this great channel now. Because your old show was my favorite. But now l have a new 1, that gets more action. Alabama is a huge fan Otto.
@deborshwillis6936 It's never too late to go back to school and become a carpenter. NEVER!! (I am very lucky, as recently retired from being a merchant mariner for 40 years, plan in early retirement, to go back to school (1 year) to do the academic portion of construction carpentry. In Quebec province, programs as such are free - and there is no age discrimination concerning entry)
This is so much better than the original series, and I loved that! It feels like August has found his calling - documenting and reporting the amazing Kilcher family.
All of you were one of the 3 or 4 shows (ATLF, The last Alaskans and Life Below Zero) that I watched on TV. I stopped watching TV 2 or 3 years ago. This is great to be able to see your ventures here! PS - As a fabricator, it's always great to see Otto doing his thing while joking and laughing!
What a job. And nobody got hurt! I'm glad those windows got where they were needed and not on Otto! Beautiful scenery and nice videography. Always looking forward to anything from the Kilcher homestead!
It was great seeing you and the Homer area again since I retired from HVFD in 2018 and moved away. I miss it for sure. Keep up the great videos and work Otto.
I love the way the community up there works together to help each other out. Too bad that isn't practiced more down here in the lower 48. That's the way it should be done.
got too love the fire wood cargo nets, got too have dry fire wood too start the wood stove,,, epic , surprised that hook held as well, thanks for sharing,
Your ingenuity and courage in relocating a cabin by helicopter to a remote cliff are truly awe-inspiring. This feat showcases exceptional planning and adventurous spirit. And I Am Floating Village Life
Hey Otto, isnt it amazing what a Barger and some money and progress can accomplish🎉 Holy Snit😳, that wasnt supposed to be there! Well done 👍. August fenominal editing👍. JO JO IN VT 💞 JO JO IN VT 💞
I learned what dunnage was from a Dunwoody graduate, the hard way, doing manual labor 2 decades ago, still have back problems from that job. You all learned about it the easy way watching this. 😀
I worked with the guy that designed the electric release air hook while he ran the fab shop at Ericksons Aircrane, cool to see it in use and still working as designed. Very enjoyable video, Otto, thanks for sharing it. 👊
Yet another amazing video.... Thanks for sharing your day to day life there in beautiful Alaska..❤ My husband owns and runs LCT's (landing craft) throughout Asia for various projects... Was interesting to see you guys loading out the cargo with a helicopter...😊👍
How much fun can u have ? Took my boat the “Home Wrecker “ To Seldovia several times this summer to use the fish cleaning station and let my friends and family wander town … Hope to see more adventures
Great editing job. Almost as good as Dicovery plus no commercials!! Keep up the good work Otto and August. Can't wait for the next one. Hoping to see a little of the family in future episodes

Otto, congratulation moving onto here... your personality shines even more than on TV!
Fantastic! So much better then the TV show. Don't get me wrong, huge fan of the show. But this is just such good stuff. Thank you Otto & family.
Otto likes to explain things twice, explain things twice.
Some of us are so old we forget what he said the first time so he has to say it again wait what was I talking about😂😂
Measure twice, cut once!
Otto the look on your face while doing this is priceless.
Great great video!
Picture quality, the content and editing were fabulous. Another adventure well done
I love watching your channel. Great job, music selection too. It would be great to see Eve and the kids, Evian too!
They have their own channel too. It's "Kilcher Homestead". There's some fantastic videos already there too .

RUclips reels far better than the TV show, more realistic
I can see Otto loves that barge.
Thanks Otto for starting this channel. I miss the show but we still get to enjoy your adventures

Miss seeing you guys so much!!
I'm super happy to see what's up with you all on this channel.
❤
Otto is awesome
Great job and fun to watch. Thank you for sharing.
New name: Auto Kilcher...😊
You not only delivered a house, you also delivered a bunch of firewood. That’s the part that surprised me. I figured they would get their firewood near their house.
So, it probably cost 2-3 times the cost of the cabin to get it where it needed to go! Just the fuel alone... Man, you guys are something else!
Otto, I've always enjoyed your enthusiasm, ingenuity and most of all your sense of humor. Cheers, sir!
Thanks for sharing your life still with us. There's nothing l care to watch on tv. But l have this great channel now. Because your old show was my favorite. But now l have a new 1, that gets more action. Alabama is a huge fan Otto.
I should have been a carpenter. I love working with my hands. Such fun being able to watch.
