- The LaFerrari's successor is coming soon, so will we see it in the Shmeemobiles!? I'm with Garage173 in Denver, Colorado, to check out the collection and head out for a run in one of my favourite hypercars in the world. With my own Ferrari collection growing, what about the 'F250'!?
While I've been having an amazing time around Colorado with my Fords, today we're switching out to the Ferraris with a visit to the amazing collection of Garage173. How cool is it to keep the Ferrari F40 under a stunning Goodwool car cover in the basketball court! That's not all though, with the likes of the Grigio Titanio LaFerrari coupe, Ferrari F50, 488 Pista Piloti, R8 GT, Turbo S Exclusive Series and many more to explore.
However, I make no secret that my favourite car in the world is the Ferrari F50, and that I'm smitten by the LaFerrari; two of the cars from Ferrari's amazing history that also included the 288 GTO, F40 and Enzo. What's coming next though? Well, it's codenamed the F250, and VIP customers have already received their invitations in the form of a bespoke key box that has been sent out from Maranello. What do we know about it? There are a few things out there like the engine/powertrain, and the prototypes running around showing the rear wing that raises to be quite the picnic table, or tucks back down flush with the bodywork. In fact, since filming, it has become apparent that it will be revealed in October 2024.
In the last few years, I have also been growing my own collection of Ferrari cars; currently with the SF90 Stradale, 296 GTS and Purosangue, along with future orders including the Roma Spider, SF90 XX and maybe some more... So, is the purpose to buy an F250? Is there a chance I can buy one? Would I buy one if it came up? Let's talk about all of this in detail.

Yeah, but as you see with the video, there’s a lot less differences between the two than you would think considering neither one of them I have a V8 lol the main differences, the F250 will probably sound better lol

At this point, he could buy all five halo cars, and it would not help one bit. Those allocations went out in April. The first official render presentation was done at Le Mans, and Tim was not there.
Tim is VIP, not Tier 1. Big difference between those two in the world of Ferrari.
I know a lot of people see grey/silver as a boring paint colour, but on the right car they can look absolutely gorgeous. I find it to be a very classy and timeless colour.
If you purchase the f250 from the factory, you know that the cost will be a bargain compared to a used one. The value will definitely skyrocket... And you know it. Great brand. Good luck 🍀.
I'm glad Tim seems to hunt down every Laferrari, and drive them.
Next up, hunt down BuckBlu, and ask the owner the questions we all want to know.
(I.e sending back cars to Italy for respray/response from Ferrari)

I would really like to see the LaFerrari's successor in Shmee's collection. I think it would make a great Shmeemobile.
It would also be nice to see the LaF in Shmee’s collection but let’s wait and see how good the successor really is.
Really enjoyed the honesty and chat about potential allocation. I personally think you’ve rolled the dice a bit buying the recent cars in the hope of getting a slot plus the added attention you’ll bring to the car online (not that it’ll need it) helps but like you say the likelihood of getting a ticket to the main event is really low. With that being said history is showing us new isn’t always best, if the funds are available a traditional halo Ferrari for me would be far higher on the priority list over the new F250.
Laferrari has such a timeless design.

I think he just deleted his instagram. He has just been on the Ferrari Cavalcade this week in his SF90XX.
Some of times best videos, that tdf with green and orange trim. I think powerslidelover is Shmee’s best Ferrari video ever. Tim was driving an Monza SP2 behind a drifting Laferrari Aperta up the Italian hills.

I've got a cheap as chips manual 360 Modena in Grigio Titanio. It's a colour that grows on you. Moody as hell on overcast days and pops like mad in bright sunlight. Also has the benefit that stone chips don't really show that much & are easy to touch up.
I have a Grigio Titatnio F12, and with the curves and lines it looks like liquid metal. Then again, I haven't seem a single colour that doesn't work on the F12!!
You’ve always wanted an F50 I’d like to see that hit the stable first. My neighbor in the 80s had a countach, took me for rides often, Jack Roush lived in the same neighborhood in Michigan. His Shelby cobra race car was insane.
F40 was always my dream car, but you have the means to make an F50 happen. Follow your heart always Tim! 😎 The F50 or 05 Ford GT id love to see join the collection of Shmeemobiles.
Tim, let’s be honest, buying the Laferrari successor was your whole plan from the beginning. But it’s well deserved.

FYI, Ford has an F150, F250, F350, F450, F550, F650, F750, as well as an F850 and F950 back in the day.
Looking forward to seeing the F250 unveiled. Lots of people are making quick judgments of the looks based off the prototypes driving around which is very wrong to do. This car is going to be crazy and beautiful. But it doesn't have a V12 which is a mistake. It would be amazing to see one in your collection. I think the other problem is, and not sure if you just missed this mark in your video, the car would probably cost like $3 million and you've stated that to buy a LaFerrari, you'd have to sell most of your collection. Not saying you won't be able to afford one in the future, but just wanted to throw this out there. With that being said, I wish you luck in possibly getting chosen to buy one, Tim :)
The car has already been revealed for the clients in renderings at Le Mans. It's a very nice looking car.
A mistake by laws and regulations trying to restrict anything that makes too much carbon so engines are getting flat lol

Tim, are you still excited about the SF90XX? Considering the SF losing so much money on the resale market?
The SF90 has plateaued in Europe and is slowly creeping up a bit.
The XX will be worth a lot more, but can't be sold for 12 months.
That's pretty cool. I'm currently near byers Colorado which isn't too far from Denver. Hauling grain with a harvest crew. Pretty awesome place

If you get an allocation I would def 100% get one in a traditional ferrari color way/spec! It'll be an awesome machine, look great and def be one of the few modern cars that are also a good investment! Just please don't do a weird grandpa blue ect spec on it, do red, silver, yellow or white with a tan light brown leather or whatever the non leather material is for the sport seats , silver/aluminum wheels and painted badges !

Well a lot of russians cleared some space in the top of the Ferrari collectors in recent times. I heard about 8-10 LaFerraris been imported into Russia in last couple years - that's at least 10 more chances to get an F-250.
Nothing beats the LaFerrari. I will settle for a 812 to get the V12, but the LaF is the pinnacle of Ferrari (and based on their latest models, I think it will continue to be)

You were talking in a video a week or so ago of you not having any ideas of what to do with your Clio V6. I do have a idea for you that you could take your Clio V6 to the Nurburgring and do a lap of the Nurburgring in your Clio V6.

The I was blown away when I discovered the existence of the f50-GTO it's so beautiful and it makes the regular f50 look to tamed
When the LaF launched in 2013, lewis hamilton was still a single world champion, v8s where also still in f1 cars for 1 final year

As someone that loves all things automotive, Ferrari's are great cars no doubt. Gimme a 250 SWB and a 458 and I'm straight. But I have to say, Gordon Murray and his latest offering- the T50, make almost all modern super and hypers look like a phaf. All too big n heavy, with hardly any interior and luggage space in comparison. He already showed the way with the F1 30 yrs ago and has taken it to another level with the T50. A Cosworth V12 that revs to 12k and sounds like a super bike or 90's Formula One, mated to a manual gearbox.. A MANUAL SHIFTER ON THE END OF A HIGH REVVING V12, IN MODERN TIMES- COME ON NOW!! Add in room for two passengers, along with the driver and their luggage. All in a footprint around the size of a Porsche 911!! If I played the lotto and my numbers came in, that would be the only one for me- if they weren't all gone of course :))

Im really not convinced by ferraris strategy, particularly with their higher end cars. Absolute performance will increasingly come from EVs, so performance is more and more a commodity - it doesnt make a car special.
I think koenigsegg realised the error they made with the regera, which was too tech focused and too similar in power delivery to an EV, and massively course corrected with the C850.
What makes ICE so special is the noise, the drama, the lightness - so why strip that all away with a hevay hybrid system and a seamless DCT. Would a V12 be the most efficient and performant power train? No of course not, but the drama and sound cant be beat.
Bummer I missed SHMEE150 and crew whilst in Denver. I was off traveling in the Southeast (4,567 miles in 6 days).
I am quite shocked Ferrari have not brought out their version of the Project One and the Porsche version.

The Valkyrie may be homologated for road use but it's still pretty much unusable. So I disagree that it's such a great achievement. It's defacto a track car. From what I believe the F250 will have a fixed wing/fixed aerodynamics like the F40/50.

I was interested to see the La Ferrari reverse silently in e-drive. I thought the La Ferrari wasn’t able to drive in electric only as it was only ever a hybrid using the ICE all the time.
