Beautiful story! And this hits me differently because I have a Similar story to my 91 GMC Sport Side that I got from my dad Which was his first truck he bought in 1991. Best trucks ever built!

Just so you know... I found your interview with the owner in this video... rare and above all... very telling about you.
You... my friend... are are an impeccable host / interviewer. Your honest, respect, and laid back style... are to be commended!
Many times... when one is asked about, as in this case... something with the utmost importance in their life, as this truck is to him... they tend to be, maybe a little long winded at times. YOU... were humbly patient... yet on point... producing a one of a kind production, and a view on what a really good guy you are... and that you are not only good at what you do... I am proud to have had the brief pleasure of knowing... we are in better shape in this world... than I sometimes worry about... no more thanks to you my friend! KUDO'S and best wishes for you young man.

@@sethhughes2163 thank you, that message really means a lot. I felt that. I love cars and I love talking about cars with individuals that are passionate about them like I am.
I had a 90 GMC like this, except it was black with 10" rims all around and an "Outlaw" chip. I would fly!!! My wife drove it for many years. I hated ever getting rid of it. Matter of fact, the guy I bought it from (his wife drove it) called me a week later and wanted to buy it back. She didn't like her new truck as much as the stepside. Just a fun truck.

Both 1988-98 Chevrolet and GMC C1500 OBS are affordable and plenty of parts available great looking truck
Man that's a beautiful red gmc pickup, I've got a two tone green 95 Stepside single cab with the 5-speed manual doing the 5.3 ls swap on.#Obs4life.
