  • The owner of this car asked me to clean up the interior and exterior of this car after he bought it from the original owner who parked it in a barn some years ago. This truck hasn't been washed in 22 years and the interior has also seen better days and in need of a car restoration inside and out. There is also a ton of oxidation to the paint along with scratches that we are going to polish out to make this truck shine! Cleaning a car and detailing a car is one of the most satisfying and rewarding experiences. One thing I love to do after I'm done shampooing/extracting is apply a couple very generous coats of Scotchgard (after everything has dried). Then future spills tend to be much easier for the owner to clean up themselves as they don't really soak in very well.

It is a rarity. I have a 96 gmc Sierra 1500 with 243xxx on the clock. I have light gray seats, and not a thin spot anywhere. They still have a ton of support in the foam as well.

I love these kinds of transformations with the older cars and trucks! I have a '94 and can appreciate the work that goes into restoring the shine! That's a great looking truck for its age! Great job! It's beautiful!
