@@mistermanage1119 I’m getting 2 12” Alphine subwoofers and I just ordered the same box as you it’s my first time to install any sub or amp can you help in any way?
Loooks good man, I’ve been looking for a box for a My Camaro and thanks to you I found the perfect one. Also will be adding those light thanks man. New subscriber
It depends on what watts you're actually pushing out. Look at your rms and peak watts on your subs and go from there. The thicker the gauge, the more you can handle. I always go bigger just in case I want to upgrade. That way I don't have to rewire the whole system.
Well I ended up calling crutch field and they recommended me 4 gauge wire and everything works now but now I just realized seeing your video and another well the box supposedly is supposed to be facing the rear so I’m just wondering since I see your video and see mine that don’t fit exactly like yours
I got 12s today but subwoofer box is to damn big for my trunk where do I find a subwoofer your size from ? Help I’m a beginner 😭😭 I have a 2015 Chevy Camaro LS
Do you get any trunk noise while driving like wind or something when I ride with my seats down I get some noise I’m planing on getting a similar set up but idk if I’ll like any road noise coming in
Yeah I was about to say that no one sells a 19" and there's no way it would fit. You put your subs in the box first obviously and lay the box flat in the trunk first. I have no back seats so its easier. If you still have yours, make sure they are down so you have more room. Once you get it in there(its a tight fit), respective to the direction you want the subs to face, you pull it towards you first, past your speakers(located on the top of the trunk) far enough so when you flip it up it doesn't hit them, and slide it back. This may be hard to understand. Just put in in the flat way first and you will get it.
Black line is negative I believe. I AM NOT A MECHANIC. That being said, double check that info online. You can type in camaro rear speaker wiring chart or something like that and you should be able to find it. I am not the say all person. In other words, I could be wrong myself even though I know I am not, its possible.
Honestly I am looking into a new Radio and will probably just run the cables straight to it. You can only get so much quality while tapping a line with the converter. I think that will help.
All depends on what subs, what RMS they push, what amp and how it is wired. My subs hit great and my system would sound louder if I face them towards the rear but I am not into a rattling trunk or that much sound. Right now, with the Boston system and these subs, everything is perfect. I am not interested in having the loudest car.
In my 16 2ss i bought a box from subthump and also had it facing the same way as yours and wasnt long i switched it. Found a box that just fits perfect 1.25 cu ft per chamber running 2 12in kicker cvxs with a kicker cxa 1800.1 amp and love it it also ran an epicenter and 3.0 farad cap. But ypur sounds good but wouldnt hurt to try turning it around just to see. I know i swapped it around real quick lol. Great vid!
I know it will be louder if I turn it around but I'm happy with the sound. What I dont want is my trunk rattling like my daily does. I wanted good crisp sound that can bump but be quite on the outside and that's why I did it. Plus I love that at night you got the led lights and its just a vibe.
I did the same got a single 12 cvx facing the front and had 800 rms going to no good then went 2 12 cvx firing rear and it was sealed but min sealed and no good either so i went with kickers dual 10s ported and now its awesome running it at 900 rms and love it.
Any issues with power running 1000 watts on stock battery and alternator? Right now I just have a powered p300-12 and it sounds really good for what it is but I want more bass but I was worried about the battery running 1000 or more watts
I got the 2022 camero with basic audio. I really want to do something like this but I’m already losing my hearing from bumping my music so loud. This might be a bad idea for me 😂😂
How did your subs installation go? I got a 22 Camaro and was thinking about putting my 2 12’s in it. Like was it smooth or difficult and time consuming?
Nice job sir. 👍🏻. Looks good! I’m about to install 2 12’s in my 2017 Camaro. I also wanted to have front firing subs. I do not want my truck rattling too much. I think that sounds like 💩 outside. I have to put the box in through the backseat trunk access opening. My truck opening is too small. 😂
@@Dd45668 I screw the AMP into that and the brackets. I have no idea why it didn't fit but try putting the subs in and then sliding that piece back in.
If I see one more camaro owner placing there subs facing them and not towards the trunk🤣🤣 only way subs should face you is if you have a wall of subs, when subs are in a trunk they hit harder and are a higher DB then when they face towards you
Who said I wanted a louder DB? When you show me instructions that says "Subwoofers can only face towards the trunk", I'll change it. That's your OPINION. This is NOT your car. Stop worrying about what I have. If you dont like it, move on instead of being negative.
Mister Manage I think he meant that it sounds better when they face away (which it does) the bass carries but it’s personal preference honestly. Just try it out if u ever want to play around with it. Nice setup overall tho 👌🏽
i’m gonna wire the same with the LOC which wires do i go to on the right speaker like you did
I don't have the car anymore so I can't tell you which is which. But there are diagrams online.
Always been a fan of kicker , not expensive and the can pound pretty hard
Where’s does your bass control knob plugin to?
I never used one.
Could you please post the link for the line out converter? I'm struggling to determine which one I need to get. Thanks.
I don't have a link to that. You can go to any store with audio equipment and ask them for a line out converter.
So the rca cables plug-in to the line out converter?
Yes.

What wires did you hook your line out converter to
There is a diagram online for which colors to use. You have to find out the positive and negative.
What number fuse did you use for the tap a fuse?
I don't remember but I have another video on the channel of when I first tapped it for my gauges. You can find your answer there.
Loooks good man, I’ve been looking for a box for a My Camaro and thanks to you I found the perfect one. Also will be adding those light thanks man. New subscriber
What kind of line out did you use?
I don't remember. you can buy any of them though.
Question: Why did you place the direction of the speakers towards the cabin? When you put the seat up, does it effect the sound quality?
I had removed my rear seats and wanted more of a show look.
So if you run the converter and the driver door speaker went out but every other door speakers work. What could cause that?
I honestly couldn't tell you. The converter is just to intercept a signal. Maybe that front speaker is just bad. It happens.
Where did you put your remote wire in the from bc my amp stays on 24/7
I bought everything the same but the amp which is a 800w amp but I wonder what amp wire kit I need

I chose to have my box face the front. It's all preference. If it faces the rear, it will be louder.
Why didn’t you use the kicker line converter that has a remote integrated?
Less wires in the back coming from the top
Saw you driving down the road I decided to check you out cool
Which line out converter did you get?
I don't know the brand. It was what my local shop gave me. You can use any one you choose to.
How did you bypass the factory amp, or did you use it too.
I did not bypass it.
How do you plug it into the factory radio
Any ideas how to stop the seat belts from knocking on the plastic with seats folded?
Remove if possible. Mine do not bother me
I got 12s today but subwoofer box is to damn big for my trunk where do I find a subwoofer your size from ? Help I’m a beginner 😭😭 I have a 2015 Chevy Camaro LS

Did you have any problems with your voltage spiking when the bass hits?
Not at all.
How did u wire it with the current volt sensor?
What did you use to cover the where the bottom back seats used to be?
There is a video of it on the channel.
I got the same set up from crutchfeild they make boxes to fit the fifth gen Camaro trunk
Can you install subs on the stock head unit?
Do you get any trunk noise while driving like wind or something when I ride with my seats down I get some noise I’m planing on getting a similar set up but idk if I’ll like any road noise coming in
The seats help with keeping sound out. So yes, you will hear more noise without them.
Bro I have my Camaro ripped apart and I have a 10” JL Audio W0v3 and I have no idea what amp, speakers, etc I need. Can you help!?
It would be best to call your local shop and ask them. There are too many specs to get into for me to tell you what to get. Sorry bud.
Was there a specific way that you got the box in the trunk because I have 2 19 inch kickers with the box and was wondering how to fit it in my trunk

Mister Manage is there a certain way to fit the box in the trunk
@@zackdobos4507 I just explained that to you.
Hey I have a Memphis M7 750watt/1500watt peak would 1k Amp be good enough ?
If you can wire it to push the full 1000, it would be ok. You would be loosing out on the peak capabilities of that sub though.
@@mistermanage1119 sounds good I think if Iax it out at 750 watts that would sound good I want it for my camaro
Is this a shallow box ?
I believe so.
Do the cords just hook right up to the factory radio or would I have to buy some part for that?
If you watch the video in full length, I go over how I wired it.
What color wires did you tap into on the rear speakers to connect the line output converter? Great video and nice system 👌🏻
I believe it was light blue and light blue with black stripe. You can look up the wires online
