Hey bro, another solution for the wire to turn the amp on is to connect the remote wire to the cigarette lighter outlet in the center console. It will turn on and off with the car.
Could have put the remote wire on the output converter and put the trigger on DC and it would turn on the Amp when you turn on the key and turn it off when you turn off the key no need for the toggle switch I've done it for years and that is what the DC is for on that converter just saying
the way i did it in my 2010 ss, is mad a custom box or to buy one that will fit in your car like 2 12's. and for the rca cables you could of got a line out converter and taped it into your back stock subs. for the remote turn on for your amp you could of got a remote wire and and conected it to a fuse in your fuse box to the left of the stering whele. you dident need to strip your trunk.
omg that wiring is an absolute mess. fyi the audio control loc has gto, so use the remote turn on from the loc to turn ir amp on and get rid of that switch up front
You guys did to much for the remote wire. Inside the armrest there is a usb port, I have my remote wire for my amp connected to thatI have 2 skar 12s in my 2012 Camaro.
Dude, you don’t need sounds in your car!!! Some of that you did was soooo unnecessary and you don’t even know what wires are what or the name of the cables plus I didn’t see not one connection to the head unit so how is it going to get sound transfer? And a switch up front? 😂,that’s what a remote wire is for, don’t make anymore videos on car audio and then you don’t have a spare tire now 😂.you should’ve went with the 8 instead of the 10 because of the lack of space. Audio videos are not for you nor is car audio period, like I said, don’t make anymore videos doing this 😂
That's not what my channel is. if you actually went to my channel, you would see what I do for a living. I never said I was an expert but thank you for your input. I hope you are very successful at what you do in life.
He is using low level RCA through the speaker level inputs on the LC2i Pro. It will provide a restoration of the bass frequency signals as the factory system attenuates the bass to the factory speakers at higher levels to protect the factory speakers. The switch on the blue remote line is not needed as the LC2i Pro has a remote out "Rem out" to your amplifier. Please make sure that you have a fuse very near to your battery for the amplifier power cable, as well as the remote trigger switch wire since you probably connected that to either your fuse panel or battery. Edit, your speaker wires from your amplifier to your subwoofer are rather small I would run at least a 12 gauge copper speaker wire. Copper is far superior over CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum).
