You get an instant stigmata...if someone really wanted to fuck you up this is exactly what they would do...move the spike to another cup. Seriously don't do this.

Saw a guy on ted talks do this while he was blind folded, the cups were moved by the regular person without the magician looking, then the magician moved them without the regular knowing, then the magician put on a blind fold and the cups were moved a final time. the trick was performed flawlessly

the screw is securely attached to that clear disk. The foam cups do make noise if they try to remove it to switch it to another cup.
