If the elected government passes a law, then every one needs to abide it. If the majority doesnt like it, then in the next election they can vote the ruling party out. This is the basic tenent of democracy. Why they are blaming Putin for this?

Because they are completely different: One does not allow USA be controlled by another country, the other does not allow USA control another country.
The citizens of Georgia have a decision to make… Now. There is no way to accommodate a pro Putin government & maintain individual freedoms. Best wishes to the people of Georgia.
