If you upload a transparent image (nothing on it, just a transparent background) you can get rid of the star logo. Thanks for the tips! Love the content so far.
Hi Ray! Love all your educational videos! Thanks 🙏 I have a quick question about automatic posting in communities. Is it possible in GHL? Now that Facebook is not going to allow 3rd party schedulers into groups, I want to see if I create the same thing in GHL. What do you think? Thanks!
Great video Ray. The guy I'm working with on the marketing and website recommended GHL; primarily for managing memberships and the marketing. His expertise is more on the sales funnel side and does not have a lot of experience with the community functions. We are a mastermind group running on a private FB page at the moment. In a week or so the website will be live, mostly as a sales funnel landing page. The main value we deliver is hosting the monthly Zoom but we do want some functionality on GHL similar to FB as well as some very basic courses. Would you be the right person to reach out for that and if yes should we wait until the website is live to talk?
Yes the private groups just went live recently but they are what you would think. Public are available for anyone to join who has an account on the portal and private are assigned to the community. Hope this helps.
awesome video. I think the best practice for now with community to avoid people using different emails and end up not seeing their courses within the community portal is to only share the portal login link after registering for courses or affiliate since those custom field can be placed in after action email or welcome email then just emphasize clients to utilize same email that was used for product purchase or what not.
We recently asked the widget how we can be alerted of new sign ups in our course (so far we only know if we happen to stumble across them or notification in Stripe) and also be alerted of new members in the community and any posts or comments they make. We’re getting sales from warm market but have not prelaunched to cold market yet and want to get this sorted asap. Widget person said not yet available. Surely this is incorrect? To me this is absolutely fundamental stuff for a community. Thanks
I understand what you mean. They are correct that the community feature has no triggers in workflows yet to alert you when someone new signs up or even when their is a new post in the community. Its still a new feature they have to improve. As far as your course I would suggest having people go through a form on a landing page and once they fill it out you create a workflow that assigns them membership to your product. That way you can be notified of new signups.
I have a course, and a community, and yes, you can add a course to the community, and so members can access their course and community from the same place.
@@fanphysiquealchemist I hear you. I am at the GHL conference and they are releasing hundreds of updates. Im sure they will fix it but I just don't know when.
This was made too fast. There's not a homepage, the menu doesn't always show the communities section, the person always have to remember the community homepage link. Highlevel is doing a terrible job with this feature.

Great idea.
If I want to set up gamification for both groups, how do I do that? How would the back end software know to separate the engagement points?
Hello sorry I do not understand what you are asking.
Its gonna get better frs just takes time
Yes it is.
Really appreciate your videos!
Thank you. I hope they help you.
Thanks the overview! I hope they build some better security around it so we can have some private communities.
There will be just version 1.
Can you embed html in a post? like an ?
Sorry but I really don't know.

As far as I know there is no automatic posting in communities not even from the GHL social planner tool at least that I know of.
@@HLGuy thanks so much for getting back to me on that!

Yes I can assist you. You can go to rayodaniel.com and use the work with me page to send me a message.
Thanks a lot that help me a lot 😊
Happy to help
It would be awesome if you went live some time and did a walkthrough of certain features while we can ask questions :)
I have gone live on the channel but not regularly. I do plan on having scheduled live sessions where people can ask questions. Have a great day.
what about the private and public options in the group settings? Do you know what they mean?
Yes the private groups just went live recently but they are what you would think. Public are available for anyone to join who has an account on the portal and private are assigned to the community. Hope this helps.

Totally agree!
Can you add communities in subaccounts?
Yes communities is a sub account feature.
@@HLGuy thanks

You're welcome 😊
did the community docs come out yet?
Yes they have but I find that you have to contact support to get them. I try to search for them on help site but they do not appear.
Thank you!!
You're welcome!

Absolutely.
How do the client portal and communities work on mobile? I'm not sure people are going to bite on this if it's desktop-only.
When I tested on mobile the communities and affiliate area did not show up just the course screen. I understand what you are saying though.
they look bad on mobile lol like you even have to turn the phone horizontally to view the other side of it.
@@fanphysiquealchemist I hear you. I am at the GHL conference and they are releasing hundreds of updates. Im sure they will fix it but I just don't know when.
Can you do paid memberships?
I have that capability but have not looked into it yet.
I'm guessing that notifications are sent via email to users?
And to this point is the delivery of those notification emails depending on your DNS configuration setup in the sub account?
Thats correct.

It does need more work for sure.
