Hi, I have a few question. - I want a private group but I'd like to turn off a membership request. How can I do it? - If I can't turn off, how can I get notification about requests? - Where can I see the membership question answers? - Why cannot map the membership question to custom field? - How can I modify or turn off the client portal automatied emails about sign in? Thanks!
@@HLGuy Anybody can meet with these cases so maybe these information will be useful to anybody else. I think you've also met so it will be a great help if u wright some inforamtion and I'm not the only one who receives information from the support. Thanks
Ray, great videos. Thank you. I have a paid membership and all my courses in it are free. I create a "course of the month" and only want members who were paid for that month to have access to it. After that month is over, I want to archive it and only those who were members that month can access it and people who were not a member in that specific month would not see it. I have been searching all over to see if this is possible.
Yes you can do it but will require lots of work and I do not recommend it. Each month you create a product for the course of the month and then create an offer for that product and assign the active paid members access to that offer. This way when person signs up next month they will not have access to the offer for last month course of the month. Like I said lots of work. It would be better to put all the courses into an archive product or previous trainings offer and assign any paid members to have access to it. When they stop paying they loose access to all trainings.
great video thanks for sharing. still too soon to switch to ghl communities waiting for a number of features that is out there in most community software
Thanks for all the great content. Do you think there is a way to add classes/products to the community and have them locked and unlock them for members on a drip, or a person by person basis in the community. I'm trying to do 1 class a month of their choosing but I want them to be able to see all of the classes and pick one. GHL is not much help in making this work but I thought you might of found something to allow this?
You should be able to do this by using the membership area. You can use a lesson drip setting or you can use a workflow to add offers to people at certain scheduled times using the wait action. To add the classes to the community learning area still requires a manual process and even then makes the course available to everyone.
@@HLGuy thank you. I know I can change the portal image where people log in, but haven't seen how to customize the home page they arrive at, where they can access their courses, community and affiliate stuff.
@@AnkeHerrmann I see unfortunately I do not know of any way to customize the inside of the portal. There is no way to apply any custom CSS. At least not yet.
@@mccflo99 yes they are. However there is currently no trigger in a workflow regarding portal signup. If you use a form to sign them up you can create a workflow and add them to an offer and you can tag them then.
great video! I tried to add the Custom menu link for free support Community but it only points to the user that created (owns) the group. Do I have to invite every user (Saas client) manually and then they can go to the menu link. I was hoping that my users could use their login subaccount settings and not have to create "another" account again?
The community exists within a sub-account portal setup. That portal has a unique URL either setup by you or system generated that users can login to gain access. That is the link that should be in the custom menu. Each user within the portal will need to have a user account created within the sub-account that the portal exists. I hope this helps.
I use the Learning area to give access to courses that I want to include as part of my community. But then there are courses that people buy as a one-off when they are not members of the community that they get access to separately. Some of my courses are not part of my community offer, so they don'tshow up in the Learning area. It can be confusing, but I like the flexibility.
unfortunately all of this is meaningless until GHL implement a notification system. Members can't benefit from a community they don't know about and we can't expect them to proactively check the community by themselves. Do you have any ETA on the notification feature?
You go into your community then the members tab. Choose the member and click on the three dots in right corner and choose change role and choose admin. Gope that helps. Thanks for watching.
Thanks Ray. I’ve been waiting for this as well. Great content.👌🏾
My pleasure!
thank you so much! So helpful... it is 7 months later now,... any updates?
I will have to make an update video for this. Thanks for watching.
How much storage does it have on the platform can your have am entire course or courses like they have on the platform Skool????
There is a 5 GB limit per file but unlimited files. Thanks for watching.
Great stuff...thanks
Glad you enjoyed it

Thanks Ray. Is there a direct message feature so members can message each other privately?
Not that I am aware of.
Thank you so much for this video Ray. Just wondering do you have a video tutorial how to migrate a courses? Would love to check that as well
No I do not sorry.

I completely understand. There are several features on the idea board that users want. Thank you for watching.
Hi Ray, great video! I was wondering if there is a way to remove a contributor once already added?
You can remove a person from a group by going to the people tab in the communities but can't block them from rejoining if its a public group.

is there way to access this from a mobile app
Not yet. Sorry.

Is ther a way that we can set up affiliates for these communities so communities members can get a percentage of every paid member that they bring?
Not to my knowledge.
There absolutely is!
how to sell a gohighlevel community: 17:03
You will need to create a recurring product to sell for the communities under the payments menu option. Thank you for watching.
I have a coaching business and I don’t want my clients to see the affiliates section in the portal, is there a way to do this?
You should be able to turn off the affiliate manager permission in the user setup. You could also use CSS to hide the tab.
Really helpful. Is there a way to style the portal home page, e.g. change the dark blue header area?
And .. is there a way to offer more than one pricing option for a community, i.e. monthly or yearly subscription?
Yes you should be able to change that but may need to create your own graphic.
Not to my knowledge yet.

Am the sub account owner but i can’t get admin access, do you know why? All user permissions are set
Can't really say you should ask your agency hosting your subaccount. Thanks for watching.
Did they ever put in a search feature?
I do not believe they have search yet in communities.
@@HLGuy A search feature and leaderboard functionality would be a out two of the biggest things they could add. Can you email community members?
@@mccflo99 yes but only from the ghl CRM not through the communities portal. You can tag everyone.

For channels in communities, can we limit what people can see the which channels?
Sorry but no.
IT really needs that DM feature like bad
A lot of people are looking forward to it. Vote on it at the idea board.

hey ray when you offer the software to people do you mention thats it rebranded go high level or just say its your own
I don't say its Highlevel. I focus on the benefits of what the platform can do for them.

Do you have any ETA on the notification feature?
I agree with you that not being able to get pushed notifications is a lacking feature. I do not have a roadmap for this feature.
where can i get a 30 day free trial link?
gohighlevel.com/saasupgrade?fp_ref=rayodaniel
Great content Ray. Do you also offer High Level services such as building funnels, creating courses, campaigns etc.?
I can help with consulting but I don't buildout projects for people. Have a great day.
Can I do a live zoom in Communities? Thanks
There is no way I know to do this currently. Sorry.
I have been waiting for this.... I am so confused 😂😂
Hope it helps you. If you have any questions just leave a comment.
Not really a "client portal" unless client can access files and folders specific to the client.
There are still several features people want including external notifications etc but GHL is still working on it. Thanks for watching.

great content but your mic isn't set properly so you 'peak' a bit.

is this better than skool
Not right now, I would have to say no. Its getter better and it will be.
