so I don't know if this has been said but the Deimos Vindicator and all the other tanks with a gun nearly center mass that's what we call a "Tank destroyer" I am really big into WW-2, I do not know why others said it why other said those tanks came close to the sturmtiger. these tanks come closer to the stug-3 or as the Germans know it as "Sturmgeschütz III" the reason I say this is because most of the vindicator tanks with that gun in the center is basically the same thing as a stug-3, about same size just going off looks and most likely are in the same role of a tank destroyer. and to those who think its a "sturmtiger" or know as the "Sturmmörserwagen 606/4 mit 38 cm RW 61" to the Germans type tank hell no, the sturmtiger was classed as a heavy assault gun (basically heavy tank) due to being based off a tiger chassis. and the fact the sturmtiger was made to assault heavy defense's like pillbox's, trench's and other fortifications head on and use its thick front armor and its 380MM (38cm) rocket launcher to blow up those fortifications. if I want to I would keep going and list what every space marine and guard tank real life version would be but that would be good a a whole video on its own.
I was going to argue how the gladiator is just like the ad-mech tank being a converted transport. But to be honest I just really enjoyed this episode, this just made my day! I don't like actual podcasts, but for some reason I really enjoy yours.

@@odinlindeberg4624 I didn't say it was a tank, it's a half track after all. An anti-tank platform like that wasn't conventionally used for scouting since halftracks aren't mobile enough for that & the gun would have a pretty narrow line of sight without turning the whole vehicle. The admech hover tank and transport craft look incredible if you give them cute robot crab legs. It's the Taurox/old XV88 Broadside of Admech... a modelling challenge, a gauntlet thrown. "Heres three quarters of a kickass model, finish it guy"
genestealers is the student that keeps doing things wrong and misunderstanding assignments but they have so much genuine enthusiasm the teachers can't help but root for them and maybe boost their grades a little here and there
Anyone else remember ork looted tanks? Back in the day you could bring shitty converted leman russes, predators, or as most players did in my store random ww2 or modern model tanks. Good times.
man love the fact when ranking the Battle wagon you show Tau weapon Profiles xD... phew that got me a good Laugh at 46:24
This video pierced the darkness of my boring recommended to bring me something enjoyable at just the right moment.
14:30 I so wanted the chant from South Park, “Crab people, CRAB People, Crab People”
14:37 absolutely the onager. Who cares about a transport/tank dial build kit?
24:19 lore speaking it's a daemons dreadnought! A daemons that gets geeked can make a deal to come back in a soul grinder. I've always assumed it was made to mirror dreadnoughts thematically anyway.
It's really cool that the Battlewagon has the Hammerhead's weapons to show off them scavenging tech, GW is so lore accurate
I need these "classes" animated where it's a bunch of chibi ish basic infantry for each faction presenting a piece of paper with their submission on it to these two behind a desk. The idea of a hormagaunt sheepishly or proudly handing in a monster unit as a tank is funny to me. Guardsman with pride showing their tankiest tank to ever tank, drukahri with that smug "I don't care" look. Lotta funny potential with these types of videos.
SPOILER: Why use the Forgefiend for Khorne when the Lord of Skulls exists?
Also, Eric. We see bones with Xrays, not MRIs.
Because the Lord of Skulls was used in the Knights episode. And it goes much to far for being a tank, though you could argue the Knights submission was too far as well, the point being that the Forge Fiend was just a more accurate choice
Lord of Skulls was their pick for a knight, and frankly I agree
As a follower of the Blood god I'm sad that the skull cannon didn't get an a honorable mention, and that the world eater didn't use the lord of skulls it has treads.
I cannot believe that you gave the Fire Prism a C-. That is an A++ main battle tank.
The A is for Eldar.
What's even crazier is they gave that a C+......but Tyrranofex a B+ XD
Berílio is not the editor poorhammer deserved, but the one they needed.
The phrase "Leman-Russy" sounds like something VERRRRY different than what you probably meant, guys...
Or exactly what we meant
When my son (12) started to get into Astra Militarum he started calling the tank "Lemon rust", because you know lemon rusts...
i had had some hope that they would maybe consider Tyranid monsters as vehicles and grade them as tanks, but requiring a S10 ranged weapon was the final nail in the coffin.
Hatred for the Land raider is crazy... It is THE model that got me into 40k. The classic OG tank design from WW1. It's the coolest shit ever.
Obviously the old Mk1-5 British tanks are garbage compared to modern tanks but the aesthetic is peak.
For real
17:39 the land raider (based on the OG tank) and the vindicator (based on the stürmtiger) are my favourite imperium tanks lol... possibly just due to nostalgia
So I'm now Banned from my Local Warhammer store because I got "excited" about one of the staffs WiP model paintings with a "Lemon Rust! My favourite of Jimmy Spaces' Special Boys!"
(Bans only for 2 days, and they're closed those two days 😂)
Put the word "TOYOTA" on the back of the rock grinder and it gets an A+
so I don't know if this has been said but the Deimos Vindicator and all the other tanks with a gun nearly center mass that's what we call a "Tank destroyer" I am really big into WW-2, I do not know why others said it why other said those tanks came close to the sturmtiger.
these tanks come closer to the stug-3 or as the Germans know it as "Sturmgeschütz III" the reason I say this is because most of the vindicator tanks with that gun in the center is basically the same thing as a stug-3, about same size just going off looks and most likely are in the same role of a tank destroyer.
and to those who think its a "sturmtiger" or know as the "Sturmmörserwagen 606/4 mit 38 cm RW 61" to the Germans type tank hell no, the sturmtiger was classed as a heavy assault gun (basically heavy tank) due to being based off a tiger chassis.
and the fact the sturmtiger was made to assault heavy defense's like pillbox's, trench's and other fortifications head on and use its thick front armor and its 380MM (38cm) rocket launcher to blow up those fortifications.
if I want to I would keep going and list what every space marine and guard tank real life version would be but that would be good a a whole video on its own.
"the toughness 9 of the fire prism is taking a lot of points away..."
Doonsday ark "cmon, give it a B"
Eldar players are a joke to you?
I was going to argue how the gladiator is just like the ad-mech tank being a converted transport. But to be honest I just really enjoyed this episode, this just made my day! I don't like actual podcasts, but for some reason I really enjoy yours.
Also, the aos crowd now also needs this size objective marker in a month or so, so that might also help the sales
You mentioned the Objective Markers and my first intinct was to thing they are in stock again.... but no... I have been bamboozled, flabbegastered and completely hornswoggled...
Every faction's bike? Super easy, very obvious choice, like Chaos Bikers, Elf Hover Bikes, Deffcoptas. Tomb Blades. Paragon Warsuits. Screamers. All classic bike designs!
I was expecting the Ork's Looted Tank before realizing they've been gone for a while now :(
I would like to point out that the Calladius does have a secondary weapon system. Its pintle mounted in the crotch up front.
Just found your channel last couple days and listening to all i could find, carried my work week! You all are awesome!
Now do a tank episode where you are focused on each faction's best tank, meaning a unit that runs up into battle with high survivability.
Legit gonna put ogryns inside the Rogal Dorn tank so their feet stick out the bottom like the flintstones
How dare you attack my killdozer the vindicator
MAKE WAY
A real shame they never looked at Imp-Guard's main battle tank, the baneblade.
I'll have you know that the tyrannofex is CLEARLY based on the Sturmtiger
"This is why everything evolves into crabs" I too had this video in my algorithm once.
39:42 Brad hitting us the "i sleep" meme really made me feel old
The empty bottom is important, how else am I supposed to slowly remove my opponents minis without them noticing?
This really Russels my Lemons.
'My dreadnoughts aren't psykers but this tank knows karate".
Dead.
15:20 Brad, let me introduce you to the endless variants of the Sdkfz 251, some of which had small bore anti-tank gun stuck on the roof!
I'd argue an sdkfz 251 with a PaK on top would be a scout vehicle rather than a tank.
@@odinlindeberg4624 I didn't say it was a tank, it's a half track after all. An anti-tank platform like that wasn't conventionally used for scouting since halftracks aren't mobile enough for that & the gun would have a pretty narrow line of sight without turning the whole vehicle. Most of those variants got sent to the Eastern Front I think, where the early paks would be decent enough against T26s and whatever for the first year or two, but yeah not the greatest idea to begin with.
A trick for webp formats is when you download it you can change the format to a jpeg by renaming the extension.
Berillio's inclusion of Pete the Wargamer's soulgrinder conversions was great to see
Usually you can save images as PNGs by swapping the file type to “All Files” and changing the extension to .png
Good work as always and congrats on getting over the disease that shall not be named!
Doesn’t work because it doesn’t change the encoding.
