- Thanks for watching my Bogota food tour. I would like to stress that the foods I tried are not a true reflection of Bogota’s dishes as there are obviously more. The foods I tried are the ones I noticed while walking around. I also left out a lot of meat dishes as I do not eat meat anymore and most of them are similar to Medellin food trip part 1 and 2.
I was only in Bogota for a week and I really enjoyed my stay as the city brought a different vibe and atmosphere in comparison to Medellin.

oh, por cierto ¿sabes por qué se le dice liberales al dulce que comiste? Resulta que hubo una época de guerra colombiana en la que habían dos bados, los liberales y los conservadores. los liberales se caracterizaban por vestir de color rojo o con accesorios rojos y los conservasores con cosas azules. El nombre del dulce es "liberal" porque es rojito :)

I'm colombian, but have never tasted that repolla or pan de la abuela looks so good. We are from Cali and those pastries are characteristic from Bogota
I had good dreams with pan de abuela hahaha. Yeah someone told me that the repolla and pan de abuela were more bogota

Well I did the tour in the morning and afternoon when the streets were busy. It was safe indeed as I also had a friend accompanying me at the time

I can hear that South African accent from a mile away. I'm from Johannesburg. Planning to go here in Jan 2022 but C'MON man! You eat all of this food and never mention the places where you're buying the food, what is the point? Lol, next time LIST THE NAMES OF THE ESTABLISHMENTS in the description. You only mention a few in the video but next time put the names in the description as well.
Hey Travis thanks for watching. Im glad you deciding to check out Colombia, what a cool country... So when you make your way to South America, you will learn that all the foods i eat can be found everywhere. I dont need to LIST ANY ESTABLISHMENT because you will be able to find it in basically EVERY CORNER :), so be sure to write the names of the dishes you like and be on alert when walking
@@melroserodriguez5507 noted but maybe it's good marketing for the establishments as well so we can all visit them. It's good to know u can find it everywhere though. If you enjoyed eating something at a certain establishment I'm sure they would appreciate you mentioning them. Maybe they make the best tamales you've ever tasted and u want others to try it :) I'll definitely be on the lookout for everything you ate because it looked delicious. Compared to where? I'm in Mexico and the prices of food seem very reasonable compare to here.
