- This is my new Cort G290 FATII, the new version with a fantastic roasted maple neck.
My gear for this video:
Cort G290 FAT II
Marshall DSL20
Boss MS-3
Bugera PS1
Steinberg UR242
Ownhammer IR (Marshall 412 cabinet)
These look cool and the sounds are good. Would love to see another video in a year of if you still like it then.
Just ordered mine in trans black... I'm so excited to play it. The neck looks absolutely godly and I can't believe the quality even for its full price.
Oh and I was super super lucky as the shop has a massive sale on and I managed to snatch the last one in stock for £349... yes it was £300 off the rrp and I just had to go for it as soon as I heard a demo. Can't wait to have it in my hands. I will post my thoughts after a few days if playing :).
I really enjoyed your demonstration, the playing styles were really lovely to listen to as well as showcasing the array of tones at your fingertips. Great job👍
I have one question, did yours arrive already set up in terms of the bridge saddles and intonation? Just hoping I don't need to do a full setup straight away as I want to play it as soon as it arrives lol.
Thank you for your compliments. I can confirm that the neck and the fingerboard are very enjoyable. Mine arrived with a good setup (I bought another Cort in the past and the setup was good also on that one); I slightly lowered the pickups for a personal choice and did very small adjustments on the saddles, but just because I'm very fussy. I'm sure you will enjoy this guitar, let me know if you will do a video too.
Ive been looking at these but cant decide on this or the original fat 1
I bought the FAT II because of the roasted maple neck, that I love for the feeling. I have never tried the first version, but I know it's heavier for the different body wood; while I feel the weight of this one as perfect for me.
👍👍👍👍🇨🇱🇨🇱
