A youtuber that doesn't shamelessly plug his/her own channel????? never thought id see that day
Went from DeathAdder Elite to Zowie to Glorious Model D to DeathAdder V2 Pro to finally the V3 Pro. By far the best ergonomic mouse I've ever used, I much prefer this shape over the GPW Superlight and Viper Ultimate I tried out.
Hey bro! I've ordered the V3 wired . As You've used the Model D which is the mouse I currently use , How big would you say the Jump from model D to the V3 is? Is it noticable?
I’m a sucker for new tech but when I went to the Razer store I bought the V2 because it felt the best and I was upgrading from the DA essential.
Motion Sync in sensor of PixArt 3395 helps a lot.. Will require more testing and use to differ from 3370 in hard mat 3370 does not track well and spin out sometimes.
Bought the DAV3 and although the mouse is very light (for its size) and has the best tech (not that it will matter) I feel this mouse and the V2 for that matter are wide and bulbous feeling in my hands. My hand width is only 9.5cm and I can tell you from direct A-B testing that the Model D full size feels much better and more shapely to the hand for palm grip. The button clicks on this mouse are S tier and the mouse does feel sharper than my Model O. I will probably be returning this mouse as the $150 price tag needs to have ZERO downsides for me. I will probably try the Pulsar X2 this week.
I agree about most of the points in the review. However I disagree about switches - I feel like the click is more crisp and concrete with these new opticals. I feel more confidence in the click compared to Kailh 8.0 and Omron 20m. And I like this rough coating on the mouse
I agree I've swapped so many switches in my mouse and every single mechanical I tried and modified is garbage. I dunno why some people love them so much. Every razer mouse I buy has way better switches than anything mechanical.
it's just a preference thing. i love the very pronounced clicks of the kailh 8.0 switches in my mouse
Did you use it consistently? I was curious if you had any issues with the flexing like many did
0:00 Where did you find that shoot?
review of the MM250 corsair? its 15€ in eruope rn maybe even less in US
I picked up a DA v2 X Hyperspeed for less than $50 off Amazon. I'm using it exclusively for my travel mouse. I was going to purchase the DA v3 Pro for my daily driver at home, but decided to get the DA v3 wired instead as it was on sale for less than $55. So for way less than the cost of a v3 Pro, I have 2 awesome mice; one for travel and one for home. Love it!
Could you do a comparison between the X2 medium and the Superlight? Pretty please?
As you asked so nicely I'll add it to the list.
Do you recommend the white or black version? I’ve heard the white version looks dirty after awhile but I’ve also heard people say the white one has a slightly nicer feeling shell/coating. Thanks,
afaik the coating is supposed to be the same. the white one will get dirty, but it will be easier to find and clean the dirt!
@@DiamondLobbyReviews thanks a lot that’s helpful - for cleaning, do you know the typical approach people use for that? I’d be pretty paranoid about damaging the unit via water or some such. Thanks,
I’ve only ever used a dry microfibre cloth for my mice or a light scraping tool. If you need more than that I’d suggest washing your hands more often or if the dirt is from another source I don’t want to know.
GPX is light yet not hollow at all due to proper enginering tho
I mean it is named the PRO, there's no guarantee the regular v3 won't be more in line with the og
Good review! But I think death adder is older than 2006, I am giving away my age but I think I was using death adder in battle field 2041, maybe it was around 2006, too long ago to recall but I thought it was 2003!
You can keep a wired connection with this right? Maybe even have better input lag?
Yes, but there will be no real noticeable difference
you can use it wired for same input lag
Didn't care for deathadder shape until now. Purchased it and it's my new main.
i got the xlight v2 and i will buy this one. xlight developped some double clicking issues at 2ms debounce. now, i run it at 4ms and maybe every 1 out of 100 is a double click. idk why everyone says kailh 8.0 is good? i much rather have the optical switches with much lower response time and no double clicking issues. post and pre travel from the xlight v2 is also pretty bad.
shape of the dav3 seems like a zowie clone and thats good a good thing. why would anyone want that old shape? i don't quite get what was so good about it. you guys sound like me raving about the mx518 and i wouldn't play that thing anymore either.
I think the points about the shape people have is that this mouse has become an EC2 clone like many other mice. What made the deathadder unique is no longer there.
@@DiamondLobbyReviews the problem really is that the company will always cater to the majority and since the majority was playing with ec2 b or similar shapes, they will have to go that direction. i have a hard time imagining the advantages of the previous shape tbh. i also read some are happy that they finally have a place to put their pinky and ring finger.
Same that xlite v2 started to double click at 2ms now been playing 2 weeks with dav3 and never going back to anything else its perfect and so freaking fast.
@@DJFITME i am about to buy the viper now for 130$. still a hefty tag but i am not going back to mechanical switches. hope it lives up to my expectations 😂
already saving the lizard skins i wanted to out on the xlight for it. i have the slight feeling that thing will end up in a corner somewhere.
Why make the DA into the shape that every other mouse has nowdays whem Razer already has enough mice that are in that shape.
Does the main buttons have any wobble?
nope
@@DiamondLobbyReviews Okay will you prefer this over viper v2 pro, cause my left button on the unit is really wobbly
ok hear me out, the V3 doesn’t really disappoint me and I’ve been using Deathadder Elite as my daily driver and gaming for 5 years and the new shape of the V3 I’ve try at the electronic store felt better compare to the original DA mouse shape on first try
how is the scroll wheel
Not the best. A lot of people do find that it's easy to get caught in between notches so it goes off sometimes.
To me the DA V2 and V2 pro were a disappointment because they already changed the curve and height of the mouse in these models. For example the DA Elite had a very smooth feeling to it the V2s were like holding bricks compared to it. This new one is a step in the good direction it feels somewhat better than the DA elite. But i still mis that nostalgic feeling.
A different shape might mean this could be the first deathadder that is comfortable for me. Whatever the specific shape is, it never worked for me. But I long acknowledged that there are no palm grip mice for my hand and that I'll forever stuck to 1-3-1 grip.
And I don't see myself ever spending 160€ on a single mouse
Before I expanded my horizons to other mice, the DeathAdder was my end all, be all. The shape and size were perfect for me, and for the most part still are. However, the V3 Pro is a complete departure from the true DA formula and in my eyes is not a true DA mouse. It might as well be yet another EC2 clone in a market full of EC2 clones. The DA V2 Pro is officially the last true DeathAdder IMO. I would much rather have the Xlite V2 which is almost literally half the price. I'm sure the DA V3 Pro is a great mouse but I'll be sticking with my V2 Pro.
Technically v2 X is last true DA.
I'd prefer DAV3 over Xlite v2 though. Tech is much better and I prefer DAV3 shape to Xlite v2, that's personal preference though.
How do you find your v2 pro? I just got mine
@@hr._.z it’s great! If you like the older DA mice you’re sure to like the V2 Pro. I’ve had zero issues with mine so far (knock on wood).
Yeah I love the V2 pro. I don't think the shape is that drastic of a change. Still an ergo mouse.
no shit it's hollow with that weight lol
They made it better
0:03 yes i am a fat knob how do you know?
Get the Viper V2 pro. dont waste your money on DAV3
2 totally different shapes, da hell you on about
it looks like some kind of hybrid between Deathadder and G PRO xD
its a ec2 clone
it is not a deathadder anymore. the flares imo was needed!
It was an ossue for a lot of people to be fair
Zowieadder?
Basically lel. Feels damn good though i just got one
This is no longer a deathadder.. sad
I have the V2 version. I was waiting for this one but I will go for V2 Pro
The new death adder is so good
It’s not even a deathadder anymore. It lost every aspect of its identity. No rubber, different shape. They gave in to the modern mouse trend and I can’t blame them. They had to otherwise they would make less money
for ppl who complain this is not the exact DA shape, just put more grip tape on the place where the shape changed lol.
or dont buy it? why should anyone try to fix a 150 dollar product
@@ege8240 its an ec2 clone, people needed a wireless ec2 shape lightweight mouse so its obvious that razer made bank of this mouse
@@oskarifps if it was an ec2 clone it would be comfortable
@@ege8240 it is
@@ege8240it is?
I wish they would’ve kept a dpi button
GIVE ME BACK MY RGB!
If you still want the old shape v2 is still available and cheaper. Stop complaining!
Yeah this mouse is beast. A ton of Valorant pros use it now. I love Razer optical switches. Not sure if the V3 switches are different. Best click latency vs any mechanical switches. Never liked mechanical switches. Razer knocked it out of the park while Logitech barely making optical switches. Wish Roccat would make a small mouse.
I mean. You need to treat the Deathadder V3 like going from a Dualshock 4 to a DualSense tbh.
Its way better lmao
