I have found myself on a spiritual journey in the later part of my life that I never could have imagined having been raised and nurtured in an evangelical world-view. I had been very active, and was truly "all in". I had been a Christian Education major fully intending to serve as a Christian missionary until my mother became ill and I chose instead to take care of her. Watching a channel like yours would have been unthinkable and considered heresy. My story of transformation is a long one, and I am exactly where I am meant to be. I no longer see the world that I live in as a dark place, though I do grieve as I look upon those in my life that choose to cling to fear and hatred. I look for your videos on a regular basis. The young ones coming in today blow me away. They challenge the old ways and bring what's been hidden to the light. The world is evolving. The "future" holds much promise... even though the future is a concept and all we ever really have is this "now" moment. Our "Now" moment writes our "futures" we are that powerful! 😉💜
I've come to realize when you take fear out of the equation, the future ain't so bleak! Once you stop listening to everyone shouting so fearfully at the shadows, and lean into the love, you'll see things are as they are and it's perfect. As the light pours in, the shadows dissipate and there will be no more fearful shouting.
The first minute into your video, I have to comment. You are ABSOLUTELY Correct! You create your present and your future. If you choose light and love, peace and gratitude, over hatred , life can be beautiful. Also, yes, turn the news OFF! I appreciate very much this new generations, we have to put a side and let them drive, my daughter is now 30 y/o and she is very inclusive. We the old generations have to let go of our controls. I'm totally agree with you. Everything will be just fine if we stop being afraid and guilty. Thanks ❤

Hey, John. I agree. From my perspective those of us living in the world today are exponentially better off than those who were living in it 50, 100, 500 years in the past. The world is improving and I think like you said, there are growing pains as the power starts to shift and redistribute. I will see the goodness of God in the land of the living and work toward the continued improvement of life on this blessed God-created planet.
Absolute truth. What you expose yourself to has a huge influence on your train of thought. I stopped watching anything that showed the depravity of the human mind. Whether it be fictional dystopian, supernatural, horror or factual recounting of crimes showcasing the mental sickness of a person. I just can’t stomach it anymore. I literally have a physical response that is very unpleasant. Regarding national and world events, I have to do it in small increments. The majority of the country, well the part that lives on the internet, seems to be filled with volatility. I was a person that lived in trepidation for about 4 years. I had become solely responsible for well-being and care for my elderly partially disabled mother. I started to become afraid that I would fail, regarding all the aspects. We never really had a good relationship after my childhood. I’m 50 now. In the beginning of last year she had another incident and I went into a tailspin of terror (which sounds like a carnival ride lol). I lived in fight or flight 24/7 for about a month. My health and well-being were so degraded that had I not been responsible for caring for her I would’ve opted out. That’s when I was granted the grace of my first waking thought. It’s been a roller coaster ever since. In the past year I’ve had some really difficult low points. Times when something external would prod the fire of fear and cause it to flame up again. I’ve also had some beautiful moments of clarity and alteration of thought. The only way to truly have those moments is through deep introspection. The sheer volume of videos on RUclips alone that can help is insane. Creators, like John, can inspire glimpses of hope. It’s then your responsibility to go within and mull it over and ponder the possibilities. You can only gain access to your truths by opening your human mind to communication with the real you. I’ve been able to pull myself out of fear with a little more ease and a little more quickly. It’s really painful when fear hits and that is definitely not a world I want to live in. So, I’m a living example that it can happen. Choosing to live in a world that is transitioning towards love instead of hate can be difficult, but it can be done. The world will reflect back to you how you think and what you feel. Once you’ve started to believe that you have the capacity for love, to be loving and be loved. Kindness costs you nothing and the returns are enumerable.

I know who I’m going to vote for and it’s not for the person who screams and makes fun of people and calls their opponent or anyone who disagrees with them names. And I don’t discuss politics with people who scream at me make fun of the other candidate and make fun of others. I choose to create the future that I want and it does not include and the kind of people that scream make fun of people and don’t allow other peoples point of view to be discussed. I agree with you 100% John we can choose who we are surrounded by. We can choose who to vote for. we can choose our future.

As an Australian, it’s hard to watch your political process without cringing. 🤦♀🤦♀🤦♀ No judgement here, it just seems to me that y’all complicate the way you vote. We have usually 4-6 weeks to vote from when it’s announced. No long draw out campaigns, rallies or pick-a-side shenanigans. So much unnecessary violence 😿 We pay attention to the rest of the world cause we are SO multicultural. Our main ties are to Europe and the King. The USA is the leader of the free world. Everyone else is our Mate. Now, I’m not telling anyone what to do here,,, but just rip the band aid off, so no one has time to complain. (And for josh sakes get rid of guns,,, we are so relaxed here and people ask why, we say, no guns. Honestly) Enjoy your coffee ☕ 🪙🪙
As someone from the States, I hear you. We do things so over the top compared to other countries, and I don't know why. I guess it's the attitude of "bigger is better", but it's so silly. I don't care about being better than anyone, and I never felt that America was. We're all One. And I am so against guns for personal reasons. I lost my father (and recently my cousin) to suicide..both by guns.😓💔 Depression is to blame, of course, but guns make it all the more easier. It's also all too easy to accidentally kill someone else. I know "protection" is what pro-gun people cry about. I'm not saying that people don't rob and invade homes. I just think the laws here are terribly lax, and just about anyone can get a gun. Only law enforcement should carry a gun, imo.. but I don't make the rules. In fact, you'd be surprised how many Americans are disgusted with the way things are here.🥺 So many of us wish we lived in other countries due to the politics, healthcare system, and poor work/life balance. I know *I* do.😔❤️❤️
