Well let me speak from experience my family. Addiction first and foremost is a result of our experiences from either childhood or adulthood, it’s usually from some type of trauma, that being said, face yourself and that’s when sobriety will stay and you’ll never use again. And because of that you will be one of the hardest working people. Get rid of old friends, get counseling to face your issues as we all have had to do, and when 1 year goes by of recovery that’s when your life will take off.!! Also, don’t date for 3 years. If you actually follow what I just said your life in 5 years will be beyond anything you could imagine. Good luck to you and don’t forget to find god and start praying. You’re worth it.!!
