@@grigori9061 I mean Alatreon is the most technical monster to fight in mhw so it's pretty fair to call it the final boss since you can pretty much cheese Fatalis, Safi and Ishvalda without too much trouble.
anyone who doesnt come in with dragon element weapons and isnt 100% committed to doing max DPS no matter the cost is the same. its a race to who can do the most dps before one side just says fuck it and obliterates the other.
I always think of the "baby of the year" sketch when I see Alatreon. "Little baby Altareon would have won this competition no problem, his dad didn't need to do the Escatons judgement" It was already a good fight with high damage that could 2 tap an unprepared hunter, it didn't need the dps race 1 hit ko move
Alatreon is such a classic MHW fight, he's a really serious challenge, love him so much. For those who already picked up on it, Alatreon is one of the few elder dragons that wields ALL damage types and can inflict ALL elemental blights What you may not know, is that his Eschaton Judgement (the one where he goes and stands in the center of the arena and starts charging for a bit, the one that made Biboo faint) is essentially a damage check, if you dealt enough elemental damage to him before he fires it off, it'll deal reduced damage and you can survive it, otherwise it'll chunk through your HP constantly even if you heal at every possible moment when he starts damaging you with it. Many groups that fight Alatreon consider Astera jerky (heals all red HP and gives you a red health regen speed buff) mandatory for this fight because of his Eschaton Judgement. Very difficult fight that when fighting with other players requires a team to coordinate high elemental damage loadouts, which makes the fight even harder if you're just sos'ing randoms :D
Alatreon is a skill check, testing your ability to measure your movements vs his movements to make sure your landing hits where you need hits to land. If you don't get those hits off properly, you will not pass the DPS check, even with proper elemental build. But Fatalis is a test of everything you've learned so far. Against Fatalis you showcase how well you know his movements and attacks, each of which has different starting animations AND SOUNDS, as well as your ability to make use of gear, environment, and all of this in a tight time limit.
I still love this boss... It was a lot of fun to fight it. Despite the DPS check, which we can all agree that it's stupid but its movesets are so fun to read against. The many elements that he wields was fun and a spectacle to watch. Just that I thought people would like this dragon a lot more if we didn't have that DPS check. I understand that it's to gatekeep the final boss, but I think we could've just let it slide and let people suffer at Fatalis and cry there instead of this one.
Oh yeah, remove Judgment and you have a fantastic moveset. It's a real shame that the one move is such a dominating part of the fight that it's all that could be talked about.
I remember my first times fighting Alatreon in Iceborne. It felt like he was called a black dragon because each attempted hunt felt like I was the "star" of a video on Blacked.
I wasn't good enough to beat the final three of world. I still havent beaten them through legitimate means to this day, though Im still trying. On an older playthrough, I killed them with a trainer just so I could see the cutscenes, but on my current, I've done no such thing and am still trying to beat them. I don't think I can do it solo, personally, but I refuse to group up.
Actual best fight in the game. Incredibly fun, a good challenge and arguably some of the fairest hitboxes in the game, a fantastic irony for preceding the worst fight in the game with Fatalis. Obscene damage, which alone wouldn't be an issue, but also just the absolute worst hitboxes since Plesioth's hips. Every time I've won an Alatreon hunt, I felt amazing and hyped, every time I beat a Fatalis hunt, I was just glad it was over.
You know, for some streamers leaving the lobby make no sense mathematically, if a streamer have a open room during all the streams is fine, but if she opens only for a certain time, a room can have 16 people at total, every quest have a max of 4, being the streamer one of those four, so making the math, it will take 5 quests where the streamer can play with different people and will be left one, meaning that ir she can do a 2 person quest, or then two people that already played will be playing again, if the people who already played start to leave the lobby after the quest, other people may get in, and the next quest will be with the new people, leaving people who joined earlier behind.
I think you bit misunderstood, she doesn't have quota how many she has to play with fans. She open a room, fans can join, and as respectable person, after done playing, you will leave to open up space so other "lucky" person can join.
@@MenrvaS These 2 DPS checks are literally no problem IF they make the FREAKING WALL not just small stones in the 4 cardinal directions for the Horn checks. @@alkalostrytoart1024 I rarely fail a horn break because my weapons always have some reach. It’s horns have really low part HP though and can be broken very easily without a wall bang. Fatalis is generally easier to fight than Alatreon, part of it is the elements change, and also the DPS check for the Judgement...
