I felt sympathy for people years ago. Now I reserve sympathy for children and those with mental issues. Most adults just used me to get what they wanted and then bolted only to show up again once they’d made another bad decision in life. There’s a lot of people out there who are broken and they’ll drain you like a vampire. Children are innocent and so I feel for them but have grown less tolerant of adults who can’t get it together.

We all feel alone and in the pits at times But you gotta be so thankful your not like so many such as being born blind , deaf , crippled ect . Youve got the ministry so just stay engulfed in that until your too exhausted to think about being alone . Wont be long brother , we outta here ......life is but a vapor
I am your distant friend. If I could be there I would but I am here having my own problems that have been stacking up very fast. (Good grief).But I know this is the time to learn to let go of the past, the things I can not change and really learn to love myself. This is time for all of us to do these things. Jim send me a physical address from the text message and I will sent you a nice donation. I don't play with my hard earned money on line. I'm old school for as long as possible.
Well, listening to your Bible story account (three combined into one?)...well...is there a reason why your ministry can't be volunteering with a ministry that has a good stewardship track record? Perhaps a soup kitchen where the donations are frugally stretched to serve many? Your time and your sacrificial giving would go much further AND you would benefit from the fellowship. I understand your fear and frustration. I was thinking this morning that few who haven't been there know how to respond in a way that actually helps when you're exhausted from treading water for so long.
Wages of sin is death, it is all we deserve, nothing else. You dearve/have earned death. But they gift of God is eternal life through Jesus. It is a gift. You need to know this. You cant earn tour way into heaven. Its not your job to give till it hurts. Stop! Jesus gift is eternal life. Period. You need to stop! Trust Jesus and the truth. You don't play your way into heaven. Stop! I am worried about you. God wants your happy. Pray for people. And let God do they rest.
Seems like when we get older, everything is all uphill and the incline gets to be more....I think of the cross Jesus bore. My friends are getting older. There is one that I visit frequently and his place was always the hang out back in the 70's. He said nobody visits anymore. He said he doesn't have any friends anymore, but he does, but they are more distant now, though not in miles. It really doesn't have to be that way.
James, I think what you are going through is the path of life that is in front of every pilgrim on his way to the celestial city of God. There are all sorts of things along the way, some of them wonderful and some of them horrible. Yesterday, this was my verse- 1 Cor 15:58, which starts with the word "Therefore". I was reminded of what one teacher told us, that when we see the word 'therefore', ask yourself "whyfor?", and also another one who wrote that writers often put their main point at the end. So I guess the answer to the "whyfor", would be something like: Because we are saved and salvation is yet ahead of us, no matter what we go through (verse 2). Because Christ died for our sins. (verse 3) Because Jesus was raised from the dead. (verse4)........and so on and so on, and so on we shall go, and in the end, eternal life with the Holy one, and his household of those that are saved.
