@@nostringsprepper When you send complaint letters, put "c.c." at the bottom and at least one person (or organization) who the business wouldn't want to have hearing about the matter. Then actually send a copy of the letter to that person (eg. Better Business Bureau, a newspaper columnist, or some kind of ombudsman). For example, if I were complaining about an environment abuse, I would also send a copy to the Ministry of Environment, and so the c.c. would make sure the company responsible knew that I was doing so.
