Love the camp and hunts! If you were to take a trusted co-hunter along, you might get into some interesting conversations too. I am sure it is a lot of work to pack all that up and get out there, but the videos are priceless. BTW, what was the total pig count on this trip?
Good hunt. If this is the place out near me that you told me about the pig activity has been picking up in the past few weeks. Got 3 boars Thursday night, going out again tonight.
Not sure if you have an internal battery heater on the Surron but according to the internet you should not charge a Sur-Ron Light Bee X battery in freezing weather conditions. Charging a battery below 32°F (0°C) can damage the battery cells.
I do not. But I’ve been charging my light bee for almost 5 years now outside in the winter original battery still going. This storm bee for almost three years now.
Probably a good thing you are having some cold weather... Many of the newer light weight batteries are great for the application your using them in, but have a battery management system to protect them from over discharging and from taking a charge when the temp is below a certain degree... You may have to during certain circumstances (whenever possible) bring the batteries inside the tent to bring them up to a serviceable temp in order to charge them... The temp's may be listed on the device...
@ being cold is no fun no matter what your doing. Hope you enjoyed the hunting tho. Coyotes are getting harder and harder to call as every swinging dick and his gf has a thermal and e caller. They may not be getting many but many are getting educated!!! Wish the thermal price went up instead of down
If you don't mind my asking....would you share why you chose the Pulsar THERMION 2 LRF XL60 for this hunt? How does it compare with other options available to you? Was this just a "field test", or might it be the superior option? I ask because I recently purchased the Pulsar Telos LRF XL50 monocular, and its performance blows me away! I am now considering purchasing the THERMION 2 LRF XL60 as well based on the remarkable experience I've had with the Telos. I really respect and appreciate your opinion. Thank you!
I’ve been using it on the last few hunts. Because it’s brand new and I’m getting a feel for how it performs so I can give real world and accurate feedback on it.
Do y’all enjoy seeing the whole hunt? Should I start another channel for these videos?
Leave them on this channel. Nice to see something different here. 👍
Yes sir

Either way is great! Would be cool to mix a group camp portion prior to the side by side carnage we love so much all in one video!!!
Keep on the same channel just put them together on your playlist.
Best video in a while!!! Must of been a great trip. Let's see some more like it in the future.
Appreciate it! I’ll have more like this coming soon.

Awesome! I have to bring the battery in the tent before it will charge due to internal sensors that cutout below 32. What a cool hunt trip! Luv'it!!

Yep had to run the diesel heater over the Bluetti the last day before it would charge. The rest stayed in the warm tent .
Great video
I am in Tyler. Come here so I can go hunting with you.
I really love this type of video! Makes me feel like I’m hunting. Would you consider a trade for any of your old Armasight thermals?
I guess give me a call.
It’s a struggle in the cold for sure. It gets worse the colder it gets. Our trail 2s last about a half hr at -15 to -20, just like us.
-20 is just no fun!
