I’m thinking about contracting with United Healthcare and I’m actually a client with United Healthcare thru my current job I currently do car sales for the meantime but I want more flexibility since I am pregnant and I want to be more involved with my baby that’s due in September!! So I really want to get my license ASAP since I car my sales license to sell a car in a month. I just wanna make sure me and my new family is “straight” you know I come from a strong sales background started out at Nordstrom had to leave due to covid everything is not the same of course and ppl always told me get into more serious sales.

It seems like there are always sites and ways to get life insurance leads, but how do you get Medicare leads?
Direct mail companies, Facebook and RUclips advertising and lead vendors. There are plenty out there. You FMO and or upline should have a recommend list or at least how to network in your community

No you can keep your Life Contracts with that IMO
Hey I appreciate you. I watched this video before I started now I sale everyday Aca, private health plans, life insurance just no Medicare. I have a question tho since it’s just been a year for me. When saling non Aca private health plans if the premium is 150 a month after 6 months with I see like 150 a month from that policy? Just curious just been selling health for boute 6 months through myself so I just wanted to ask.
No if the policy is $150, you not going to get $150 per month. You need to call the contracting department you sold that policy with and ask them your commission rate
Can you get licensed in life and health and be able to sell Medicare ?
Yes
Yes, if you have life, health and annuity means you can sell all 3. Health insurance license mean you can sell Medicare products like Medicare advantage, Medicare supplements or Medi gap and Medicare prescription drug medication. Also having health insurance license mean you can sell Obamacare or ACA
Is it realistic to sell both? To be life & medicare agent? Or is this too difficult?
No it's not difficult, you can sell both. Once you get over the learning curve it's easy to do both
What if the agency I am with is not necessarily experienced in Medicare & focuses primarily in Life? Would you recommend working through the same group or finding another upline to do Medicare?

This would be a great video Patricia! I just want to say I genuinely appreciate all of this information, I’m just having a difficult time organizing what to do first. I need to take AHIP, but can’t figure out where to get started. Right now I believe the course is for 2022, then open enrollment for 2023 starts in October.
But back to Obama care, could you explain how to get appointed to sell Obama plans? Do we go to the various insurance companies and get appointed, or is this done thru the healthcare marketplace?
