With Obama care, do you need to meet the deductible even before they pay for Dr visits.. Like what if I need to go to urgent care. Will I pay the whole amount ? Or will it be less. I was told by someone that even for a flu shot you pay the full amount until you meet the deductible and some of those are like, 9000 dollars
It depends on the plan. Some plans will have you pay the deductible before they contribute to ANYTHING including doctors visits and prescriptions. There are a lot of plans that have a copay feature though so you would only have to pay the copay. Important to pay attention to all of that when you are enrolling in an ACA plan. As far as a flu shot specifically, that would be considered preventative care and would be covered by the insurance company. Happy to help you sort through the plans if you need help :)

What can I do living in Tennessee no subsidy’s. I am waiting to get on disability. I make to much money for Ssi they said so I was denied and oboma care says I don’t make enough money 🤦♀️🤷♀️

6 more months and I’m off Obamacare on to Medicare. It’s great up front but have a couple of bad health years and your in big financial trouble 👎
