I love how it showed fun, happy, newbie students etc. Just doing fun when it started trailer and then showed sad, scary and dark at the end of this video. The boys and the boys spin-off are crazy and masterpieces! Can't wait to see Gen V!

As a fan of the boys I’m kinda worried about how this will turn out especially when the original source material is so great as well as the live action the boys. But definitely will give it a shot.
Give me one sky high reference and I'm sold.
Either these guys will end up serial killers(like A-Train and Homelander) or disaffected(like Maeve and Black Noir). That's all I know. I just hope they could stand to the main series.

I’ve started this show and so far it’s been really good.
Judging by the trailers I thought it was just going to be a bunch of edgy gore and violence wrapped up in teenage drama, but it’s so much more than that.
The story is interesting and the characters are so well written I actually care about what happens to them in the show.
Well, if you thought that you hadn't seen the boys, I recommend this very good one

But this being a spinoff of The Boys is also what made me skeptical of it at first.
Because spinoffs are very rarely as good as the original.
That coupled with me not liking melodramatic teenage storylines and excessive reliance on shock value made me go into this show with skepticism.
But I’m glad I was wrong. Because this show is actually really good. Lol
Way better than I expected. I like it just as much as The Boys.

It is kind of funny, sad and messed up how the first part of the teaser trailer makes it feel like something out of the X-Men franchise, but the second part simply reminds us that this is a show that takes place in the same fictional world of the tv show The Boys.

@@blackpaw29 Blood bending is WAY too OP, though. From what we can tell, our MC doesn't just control her own blood, hence the "I exploded his dick" thing. She can just give anybody in the room an instantaneous blood clot, or give them an immediate stroke on top of that. It makes her such a STRONG support, that I am surprised that her powers are not the main villain's, so they are kept to the side for most of the story.

Well if you think about it, all the boys has touched mainly on the lives of super powered adults and a bit of children. This show is aiming to focus on the younger adults. The ones who arent heroes or villains yet but are learning what to do with their powers.

When I saw 'Gen V', I was excited that is might be another 'V' tv series. But my disappointment was immediately alleviated when I saw Clancy Brown - one of my all-time favourite actors! Then it looked like a goofy, teenaged, watered-down version of 'The Boys'. And then it most definitely didn't look watered-down at all. I love 'The Boys'. Hope this is as good!
