Get a downeaster like anywhere from 28-35 feet. I have a 31 bhm downeast any it is the best boat there is it only goes 18 knts at cruise and 25 at WOT, but vey comfortable and efficient fuel wise even with a diesel.

Topped out light at around 43 mph. Not a speed demon by any means. Depending on how you run it the F250 is okay, but a F300 would be best. We'd run offshore three guys full fuel 200 lbs of ice plus gear and run out at 26 knots, come home at 29 knots.
