Guillermo Kilpatrick Cannibalism most likely. They can't stand being incarcerated together so as a result they start attacking and feeding off of each other.
"Temporarily out of stock." You're making it rain for trap sellers man, keep it up. Maybe you should get a peanut butter or Tootsie Roll partnership lol.
Gilbert Berger Whatever. They can't stand being around each other PERIOD. I've seen mice attack dead mice without being captive. They're competing against one another for food so it's their base instinct to go after each other. Rats actually get along better in troves as opposed to mice.
What?!!! THAT is a great system! And you won't have anyone hating on the trap killing mice. Just remember not to forget it's there or you'll just be starving mice to death and that's not humane at all. Does it come apart for cleaning and servicing? THanks, Shaw as always for another great video!
It does not come apart for cleaning. But it looks like it could withstand being sprayed out, and the release gate is large enough to use a rag on a stick or a long thin flexible brush. Not ideal: I'll have to see how it works out.
Shawn, just wanted to say, I love your mousetrap Monday videos, they are really cool and educating, they even inspired me to make a trap of my own, so just keep ignoring those haters!
This is not correct. Mice only cannabalize where they're in too tight of a space. If he caught 6 mice in that thing, they'd be fine and comfy, but if he caught 9 or more, then you would see that more aggressive behavior due to over-crowding. The same way people get anxiety when in tight spaces or in massive tight crowds.
speakdino 10, we have seen videos on this very chanel where two mice in a bucket tear into each other. The host explained it as why he set the trap the way he did.
yup, its why he had water in it to begin with. Then showed what happens without water. The dominant mouse goes all Texas chain massacre on the weaker mice. Drown quickly, or be eaten alive?
Very interesting design! I am curious about how does it work when there is trash inside the trash can. Will mice still be attracted to the bait? Or, because there is so much food around, they will claim into the trash can and have a feast?
I got the homewares boots that also double A's a mouse trap. The way it works is you set the boots without telling the owner of the boots in the kitchen. Wait overnight then let the owner know where the boots are. Many times it will be just fine, but once in a while, as the owner stands, you will hear a mini squik and some crunchy noises. It's similar to the water bottle trap, but doesn't change the taste of the boots.... If you're into that sort of thing.
The escape opening should be big enough to reach in for cleaning, or to get a brush in for cleaning. It'll stink up your office if you can't clean it well.
Shawn describes the mechanism as a teeter-totter. Actually not: it's a long flexible plank angled upward so the mice can push through a gap that closes behind them. Simple, all-metal design with that single moving part.
love this one. Im gonna buy a few cause i constantly have trashcan mice, that ive learned to catch by hand! the other trap i really liked wsa the kill trap for rats that uses co2
How would one clean this trap out? Mice always crap in confined space like that, but it doesn't seem very accessible. Does the bottom come off somehow?
Question. If you catch mice in your home or office, go outside and let them go. Aren't they just going to come right back into the building again? It makes most sense to me to kill them, otherwise they will either just come back or you are giving someone else the problem you just had.
hey Shawn I was just wondering is there a natural alternative to sinew for fletching and binding arrowheads to shafts as I wouldn't have access to sinew.
I am confused as to why the bucket without water trap you created caused the one mouse to eat the other but here, the exact same scenario of multiple mice together in a confined area and nobody ate eachother.
YT keeps kicking me off notifications. Now when I click the Bell it just flashes the sign up box for a fraction of a second so I can't even sign up again. wth YT?
This one has the problem of numerous mice being trapped in a confined space though right? Won't the attack, kill and eat each other when you catch more than one?
That was a surprise cuz I was sure the trick would be a ‘slippy’ clear plastic inner bin, so the mice would climb up on the outer mesh, then fall in the inner bin and get stuck. I wonder if that would work...?
N/A N/A like one of them SJW's? Sounds mostly good to me, the SJW can have the mice and the mice get to be "not dead"... though I wonder how long it would be before the mice would start wishing they were...
I've looked at this online and now on your video. There is no way to disassemble this thing to clean the mouse level. After a couple mice spend the night as your guest, the poop and pee will not cautiously walk out the release gate with the mice at checkout time. This thing would smell pretty bad fairly quickly.
I like to think that this guy didn’t start out with a pest problem. But just bought too many as pets and they escaped, and all these videos are just a documented story on his journey to contain the monsters he’s created.
dude i had a 3 year mouse problem and the part of the reason why is i just let them go so they would go back to my cabin and wreck it so if you could do more instant kill rat traps it would be helpful.
in a vidio you show us what happens if you catch 2 mouse they kill each other so is it the same with this device or not ? do they kill eatch other in this trashcan
The other traps the spaces the mice were trapped in were super close together, so that probably stressed them out. If the mice have enough room to move around and be apart from each other, they're probably not going to be as stressed out.
I have an idea to solves your mouse and rat problem Shawn. Put EVERY SINGLE mouse and rat trap you have out in the barn and see how many you catch/kill
Did you actually put bait in the compartment where they'd get caught? I feel like, that'd make this trap more humane because if they have bait down there maybe it'll reduce the risk of them eating each other.

I think this was cute.
Shawn Woods out of curiosity, what were the mice behavior in the basket when multiple mice entered?
Guillermo Kilpatrick Cannibalism most likely. They can't stand being incarcerated together so as a result they start attacking and feeding off of each other.
"Temporarily out of stock." You're making it rain for trap sellers man, keep it up. Maybe you should get a peanut butter or Tootsie Roll partnership lol.

little did those mice know that they'd be drowning in a Kentucky bucket trap later that night
Stephen A lol
Hahahahaha
Stephen Adams when I've caught mice in kill traps but they were still alive, I taught them how to scuba dive.
Hahaha
@@Fruitcupper : You mean free dive, because you can't get tanks that small. LOL
What?!!! THAT is a great system! And you won't have anyone hating on the trap killing mice. Just remember not to forget it's there or you'll just be starving mice to death and that's not humane at all. Does it come apart for cleaning and servicing? THanks, Shaw as always for another great video!
They won't starve, mice kill each other when trapped for even a few minutes together. A few of his other videos show this barbaric practice.
It does not come apart for cleaning. But it looks like it could withstand being sprayed out, and the release gate is large enough to use a rag on a stick or a long thin flexible brush. Not ideal: I'll have to see how it works out.
Call me 8284616034

That took a turn.....
Now this is the Thunder Dome. Two Mice Enter, One Mouse Leaves. These are rules of the Thunder Dome!!!
mouse1: "help me!"
mouse2: "im coming in to save you!"
mouse1: "help us!!"
I actually like this one. It looks effective and perfectly designed for the kind of trapping I'd want to do.
"...and they can run out and escape."
Nope. I'm gonna go turn them loose in Accounting. I'll teach those bean counters to deny my expense vouchers.
Shawn, just wanted to say, I love your mousetrap Monday videos, they are really cool and educating, they even inspired me to make a trap of my own, so just keep ignoring those haters!
I like this one, simple and to the point, but not so small that they get really crowded inside, plus multi functional. This should be all the traps
but do they start eating eachother when they get traped?
Coded _Ragon Yes.
Coded _Ragon Yeah, it's happened plenty of times on this channel, which is why he's generally more inclined to review quick kill mouse traps. :)
This is not correct. Mice only cannabalize where they're in too tight of a space. If he caught 6 mice in that thing, they'd be fine and comfy, but if he caught 9 or more, then you would see that more aggressive behavior due to over-crowding.

Instead of releasing them, I would recommend a mini-Hunger games.
Brechum lmao..
Calm down satan
WHY not feed reptile/Spider pets?
Typically it isn't recommended to feed pests to pets, as it can introduce diseases or parasites.
Warrior1405 - How'd they survive in nature then?!
Just get a Office-Cat, boost morale of Officeworkers and is a Second-Boss.
The escape opening should be big enough to reach in for cleaning, or to get a brush in for cleaning. It'll stink up your office if you can't clean it well.
how do you clean the insides of the trap?
How do you clean it out
but how do you clean it after the mice poop in it?
Wow awesome ! Could do a more detail video on how to access the mechanism for maintenance
Can you remove the lid for cleaning purposes?
Did you have bait inside? How do you clean out all the mouse droppings?
Shawn describes the mechanism as a teeter-totter. Actually not: it's a long flexible plank angled upward so the mice can push through a gap that closes behind them. Simple, all-metal design with that single moving part.
love this one. Im gonna buy a few cause i constantly have trashcan mice, that ive learned to catch by hand! the other trap i really liked wsa the kill trap for rats that uses co2
How the entry door mechanism works?
Is it easy to clean though? Didn't look like any of the parts are removeable.
What's attracting them? How do you put in bait????
I'd like to see a bigger version of this for rats!
Or squirrels!
How would one clean this trap out? Mice always crap in confined space like that, but it doesn't seem very accessible. Does the bottom come off somehow?

trash can for trashy mice
bo lu ok
I noticed how you let that mouse from the office run free in your barn hahaha
the idea is brilliant.. wow.. i want one..
So did he chill and explore the trap more after you released him?
I am confused as to why the bucket without water trap you created caused the one mouse to eat the other but here, the exact same scenario of multiple mice together in a confined area and nobody ate eachother.
i think you need to put enough bait in so they arent hungry lol..or he was mistaken that one didnt escape...
maaan i like ur videos of traps a lot
YT keeps kicking me off notifications. Now when I click the Bell it just flashes the sign up box for a fraction of a second so I can't even sign up again. wth YT?
Shawn seems like a good guy. I bet he would be cool to drink a beer and have some laughs with. : )
Oh that's so cool! If I had mice, I would get that one. seems to be one of the best yet.
i love your mouse trap videos.Keep up the good work👍
Cleaning it?
2 episodes in a row let's go
How to clean inside of trap ????
Can you explain how this works. I bought one and the mice go in for lunch and then leave!
All it needs is a slightly bigger bucket you can fill with water to dunk it into.
shawn could you link the part where it brutally kills it
what does the trash can have to do with it??
That's an innovative idea liked it very much..
The affiliate link won't work
This is unrelated but I fully expect all natural clothing this hunting season, Sean
Sold out already!
I hope these vendors kick back to you! The good traps always seem to sell out after your videos
Genius idea. If only it was detachable so we can clean the mouse part after a while.
thats my question also unless you just hose it out? wouldnt it then get rusty
do the mice fight each other?
what about using acid instead of water?
This one has the problem of numerous mice being trapped in a confined space though right? Won't the attack, kill and eat each other when you catch more than one?
I love ur vids idk y people age restrict ur videos people should know what they are getting into when they see ur thumbnail and titlez
how's the botfly ?
I don't have a pest problem, but suddenly I need this trash can.
oh yea today's it Sunday!! Time for mouse trap monday!!!...i live in the US
That's a good one and the simple teeter one.
This is the reason why I say awake on Sunday night... To watch them massacred! Nice vid as always
How come those didnt fight to the death like the bucket mice?!
A little poison cocktail inside for a final nightcap would be perfect.
Why not showing the mechanism?
Compound this one with the rolling log one
This is weird and cool because why this fusion? Like trash can and mice catcher? Maybe if you have office mice
That was a surprise cuz I was sure the trick would be a ‘slippy’ clear plastic inner bin, so the mice would climb up on the outer mesh, then fall in the inner bin and get stuck. I wonder if that would work...?
it must smell pretty bad from the mouse urine and poop.. how do you clean it in between if you really want that in an office.
Good live food catcher for your pet snake.
Damn, that was one good trash metal party
Did you use any bait???
great!!!so they can infest someone else'[s home
N/A N/A Exactly!!! your enemies will never want to cross you again
N/A N/A like one of them SJW's? Sounds mostly good to me, the SJW can have the mice and the mice get to be "not dead"... though I wonder how long it would be before the mice would start wishing they were...

why would you set them loose just to re infest the same place again?
why you dont execute all of them shawn???
nice.. which rat trap would be good for multiple rats live.. have them in attic space..
where in the hell do these mice popup from? its like they appear BEHIND the trash can out of view as if they're respawning or something
I like to think that this guy didn’t start out with a pest problem. But just bought too many as pets and they escaped, and all these videos are just a documented story on his journey to contain the monsters he’s created.
You would have thought the mice that were already trapped would be like "no wait, it's a tr.. nevermind"
This is very useful.
I need them alive to feed to my Spider.
why r u letting them go after you catch them?
nice way to feed my pet snake
Yepppers it is
Your comment is 11 months ago but I hope you didn’t because most of pests mice and rats have diseases and can kill your reptiles
░fuck this shit▓ hahahahah I was doubting about it for a minute
Where do you live at that you got a crap load of mice problems?
Little devils can't wait to get in there! Nice job but if you need this thing in your house, you really have mouse problems.
dude i had a 3 year mouse problem and the part of the reason why is i just let them go so they would go back to my cabin and wreck it so if you could do more instant kill rat traps it would be helpful.
The mouse bucket list
in a vidio you show us what happens if you catch 2 mouse they kill each other so is it the same with this device or not ? do they kill eatch other in this trashcan

happy sunday
1st mouse to 2nd mouse :no don't let that door close
Great job and good luck
that's the best one so far
You should try this in the barn and see how many you catch
I got a mouse trap ad before this
I have an idea to solves your mouse and rat problem Shawn. Put EVERY SINGLE mouse and rat trap you have out in the barn and see how many you catch/kill
Whatever happened to the botfly?
Did you actually put bait in the compartment where they'd get caught? I feel like, that'd make this trap more humane because if they have bait down there maybe it'll reduce the risk of them eating each other.
I love you're videos 😀👍
You make my monday!
Catch and release just to have them wind up back at the same place. What a money maker for you.
Where do you get these mouse and rat traps? it's amazing how each trap works and how it gets it's job done. 👍
