    • @wilykat

      Guillermo Kilpatrick Cannibalism most likely. They can't stand being incarcerated together so as a result they start attacking and feeding off of each other.

    • @wilykat

      Gilbert Berger Whatever. They can't stand being around each other PERIOD. I've seen mice attack dead mice without being captive. They're competing against one another for food so it's their base instinct to go after each other. Rats actually get along better in troves as opposed to mice.

    What?!!! THAT is a great system! And you won't have anyone hating on the trap killing mice. Just remember not to forget it's there or you'll just be starving mice to death and that's not humane at all. Does it come apart for cleaning and servicing? THanks, Shaw as always for another great video!

    • @willausterman3104
      @willausterman3104 7 лет назад +42

      They won't starve, mice kill each other when trapped for even a few minutes together. A few of his other videos show this barbaric practice.

    • @tomeubank3625
      @tomeubank3625 7 лет назад +4

      It does not come apart for cleaning. But it looks like it could withstand being sprayed out, and the release gate is large enough to use a rag on a stick or a long thin flexible brush. Not ideal: I'll have to see how it works out.

    • @speakdino10
      @speakdino10 7 лет назад +23

      This is not correct. Mice only cannabalize where they're in too tight of a space. If he caught 6 mice in that thing, they'd be fine and comfy, but if he caught 9 or more, then you would see that more aggressive behavior due to over-crowding.
      The same way people get anxiety when in tight spaces or in massive tight crowds.

    • @leonche64
      @leonche64 7 лет назад +32

      speakdino 10, we have seen videos on this very chanel where two mice in a bucket tear into each other. The host explained it as why he set the trap the way he did.

    Very interesting design! I am curious about how does it work when there is trash inside the trash can. Will mice still be attracted to the bait? Or, because there is so much food around, they will claim into the trash can and have a feast?

  • @aomanchutube
    @aomanchutube 6 лет назад

    I got the homewares boots that also double A's a mouse trap. The way it works is you set the boots without telling the owner of the boots in the kitchen. Wait overnight then let the owner know where the boots are. Many times it will be just fine, but once in a while, as the owner stands, you will hear a mini squik and some crunchy noises. It's similar to the water bottle trap, but doesn't change the taste of the boots.... If you're into that sort of thing.

  • @DevotedDisciple-x

    Question. If you catch mice in your home or office, go outside and let them go. Aren't they just going to come right back into the building again? It makes most sense to me to kill them, otherwise they will either just come back or you are giving someone else the problem you just had.

    I've looked at this online and now on your video. There is no way to disassemble this thing to clean the mouse level. After a couple mice spend the night as your guest, the poop and pee will not cautiously walk out the release gate with the mice at checkout time. This thing would smell pretty bad fairly quickly.
