Converse's Coastal Carnage is a wrap and CCS was proud to be a presenting sponsor of this massive party on the beach. Coastal Carnage is an invite only Bowl Jam held in conjunction with the U.S. Open Of Surfing at the pier in Huntington Beach, California. 40 of the world's best all terrain rippers battled it out for a piece of the $75,000.
The perfect wooden bowl, a Speerco creation, was absolutely destroyed during the three days. Ben Hatchell, Ben Schroeder, Robbie Russo, Curren Caples, Kevin Kowalski, Tom Remillard, Ben Raybourn, Tyler Mumma, Collin Provost along with legends Tony Hawk, Christian Hosoi, and Lance Mountain put on an amazing display of bowl skating. In the end it was Converse's own Tom Remillard who walked away with the top prize of $15,000. The Birdman, Mr. Tony Hawk won Best Trick with a 540 on the pillar.

I love the vans park series terrain but this set up is a big soft broken-in catchers mit for transition skating that a novice or a top pro can get something out of....a genius designed it !!

these guys know how to fall under control, most common deadly head impact for a seasoned skateboarder is falling back onto your head, where a helmet does not do a thing. helmets are hot they effect the way you skate, they ate not skating a giant ramp where they might fall 20 feet...etc..

@@wesleyh6308 It's not the riff that sucks dude. It's the sound of the guitar. It's high pitched and ear piercing. It sounds like they put a phone in front of the amp and recorded the amp. Like it hurts my ears lol
I am an old zeppelin fan. The Ocean is one of my favorite songs, but I agree the guitar player is really struggling here.
