You wouldn’t be able to a video on home made chilaquiles would you? I love your videos and they’ve helped my cooking a lot!!! My mother passed when I was younger . @@christianoliver3572 if I lived in Corpus, I would head south thru the Big Ranches and head to Edinburg Tx and go knock on Arnie’s door and say , where’s the Tacos and Salsa!!
@@garybaltes1500 I haven't been down to the Lower RGV in years. Last time I went even close was to see the Blue Angels at NAS Kingsville. We used to go down to Mexico fairly often but it's changed so much that it's not worth it anymore. But I'd certainly go to Edinburgh.
@@christianoliver3572 I lived in Kingsville from 1970 to 1985. My wife is from Riviera. I miss south Texas a lot. We get down there just to go hunting and fishing now. We never pass up Kings Inn while we are there.
@@garybaltes1500 That's a must not miss restaurant. It's the definition of hidden gem & even some of my friends who fish a lot more than I do here in the Coastal Bend don't know about it. I tend to fish a lot closer to home. I can be at Fisherman's Wharf in Port A from my house in 30 minutes or Red Dot Pier in 15. I don't surf fish very often as I usually go for flounder, reds, trout and black drum.
This is almost exactly like the pico de gallo salsa my mom has been making my dad for the past 40 years now. They eat it in the mornings with their huevos rancheros before my dad goes to work. Saludos from East Los
Arnie, I just want to say how much I look forward to your videos. I absolutely love your positive attitude and delicious recipes. I moved to the PNW from Austin about 5 years ago and really miss the food. I bought a smoker just so I could get that fix, so thanks for all of the content!
I am in awe of your culinary talent!😍 This salsa recipe highlights your creativity and expertise in the kitchen. Well done!🤩 Looking forward to your upcoming recipes 🙏👍
The man enjoys eating that great food as much as he does preparing it...that's a great combination! Fortunately for us, he shares those great recipes & grilling tips.
Maaan, I made this tonight with some frijoles charros -- strained and mashed some of the beans, made eggs and put this salsa on it all -- absolutely delicious. Thank you :) I love that you give a platform to be creative with a lot of your recipes. Cheers!
I’ve been watching and learning. I’m hoping one day all my Mexican friends will tell me I’m no longer a gringo, but maybe a wado. I made the best salsa I’ve ever had in my life tonight, preparing for company tomorrow. It’s pretty much tomatillo salsa with chipotle in a can. The first time I made it was last week and way to much chipotle, this time I made it with a hint of chipotle peppers and adobo and it’s the best I’ve ever made. I’m pretty sure you know about the process, but I haven’t seen a video of you making it yet. It’s probably out there. I’m telling you; the best salsa that I’ve ever had.
I literally just told my hubby I wish you and/or your mom were our neighbors. Y’all are so funny in your other videos and you seem like super nice folks. :) Keep the videos coming !
I’d like to call it ranch salsa or camping salsa..it easy fast really good and it’s fresh salsa good enough for 5 to 6 people. You can use that salsa not only for breakfast you can even use it for dinner..
Me too, only not sparring. It’s diluted down with vinegar. I make super hot pepper hot sauce like Reapers, Scorpions, Ghosts, all in a batch of sauce and the secret is to add a whole bunch of vinegar and add it until it doesn’t make you cry, but sweat instead. It’s some good stuff.
Looks great and very tasty we use OG on just about everything also WOW and we just got the brisket rub. Gotta family reunion this month gonna put Arnie to the test. I’m sure it’ll be great.
Fresh salsa is absolutely the best, however if you grow the chiles yourself and wind up with way more than you can use and give away, how can you make a good concentrate to preserve the flavor and add it to sauces throughout the year? That would be a great video or series of them for someone of your pristine palate!
What I’ve done in the past is blend down with a little salt and then vacuum pack batches. This way you have a nice strong base of chile you can add to any salsa or dish for big heat. I will put this on the list of videos to make!
Just found your channel and have watched several of them, i was wondering if you've heard or cooked Camarones a la Diabla i had it a couple of times a two different restaurants but the first one was spicy that it made me sweat ( which I liked) and the second one i had no sweating going on, do you have a good recipe for it, thank you Larry
Me and brother love making your salsa recipes, i love a good ranchero salsa, so we will be definitely putting this in the rotation. Also my favorite hot sauce that taste great is Marie Sharp's lava heat hot sauce. 🥵
Looking at the ingredients now as we recently found Marie Sharps too, we are now convinced it is exactly Sontava with a different name or else Sontava was Maries Sharps all along, don't really know but it's exactly the same wording and ingredients on the labels. Tnx
A good breakfast salsa is Melinda’s jalapeño hot sauce. Doesn’t have that tomatillo taste like other green salsas. El Gallo is good. I’m actually eating some now (habanero one) with migas 😂
all salsas can be for any meal or just with chips but some have just traditionally been used for breakfast like this one however it's good anytime of the day or night.
I need to make a batch for me to can. I can a variety of food for those times when we are in extreme hurry. That way we can still have that mmmmm when we can't have fresh.

Excellent! Made this 2 hours ago. Created an amazing sandwich with scrambled eggs, ham, homemade bread and topped with the salsa!
as much as I love your cooking, I love your smile and your enjoyment of your works. Gracias
Arnie you need to start packaging all of your Salsas to sell in Our Heb’s ! I’ll be waiting!

Thanks for all your tasty videos!! I like the little dance when you taste your finished product! Don't lose the dance!!!!!!
I like adding a little bit of caldo de pollo en polvo when I make this. It adds a nice extra flavor.
Agreed! I’ll throw in a bit of cumin and a paste I make with chile de arbol as well to add heat.

Your OG seasoning is the best all-around Texas seasoning I’ve ever used.
So many salsas so little time.
Thanks for all you do Arnie.❤
Give me a straw or spoon!
I’ve been here since the beginning and I am loving the improvement in video quality! Great job!
Thanks Nick, we keep learning, appreciate the follow sir.

This channel is so great. The pacing, the production, the recipes. Easy going personality, just great.
I made this in five minutes and it was great! Thanks!
Can’t wait to give this one a try. Every salsa recipe of yours I’ve tried has been a home run.

I love Melinda's Ghost Pepper sauce! I use it sparingly, and I put some next to my ketchup for when I eat french fries. It adds such a great flavor.
it's so good

Arnie...you are such a pleasant, gentleman. So easy to watch.
Keep those videos coming.
God bless you and your family ❤
I have to say that mustache is elite level! Right up there with Tom Selleck!
Thanks for the recommendation for El Gallo salsa. I’ve been looking for a jalapeño sauce like at the restaurants and this one is legit.
Wife & I enjoy your salsa & counts for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, Lol
Shoutout to Melinda's...that stuff is fantastic. The scorpion pepper sauce is just the right amount of heat and a really nice flavor.
Yeah buddy. Thank you for sharing your video with us. God bless from west Texas.
Making this this morning with our breakfast tacos
It’s going to be nice to make a salsa without having to clean a blender - thank you sir!
Never make a salsa in a blender....
I love the el gallo salsa. It's sold up here in Austin at my local HEB and it rocks...good call out :)
Thank you Arnie.
Wow salsa looks delicious ☺️ can't wait to try it.
I tried this with one Serrano pepper (that’s all I can handle)! It was excellent!
Looks great and very tasty we use OG on just about everything also WOW and we just got the brisket rub. Gotta family reunion this month gonna put Arnie to the test. I’m sure it’ll be great.
The break so that I can print them offfast salsa looks delicious. Do you have a website for your recipes?
I love your recipes and great cooking demos! Thank you!
Love your salsa recipes. I purchased all three of your rubs/spice lately. All 3 are excellent!
Just made some tonight and going to fix some street tacos
We go to a Mexican restaurant that makes wonderful salsa. I think it might have ground dried chilis in it. So good!
Let’s make it again❤
Thank you! I need this salsa now!
I've never made my own, I do love that la costena homestyle Mexican salsa. It's fkn delicious!!!
Question, what makes a salsa a "breakfast salsa" versus a dinner salsa or standard salsa?
When you eat it!!
Personal preference for that particular time of day. Same as any other “breakfast” food.
I love cilantro
I’m going to try this.
Except I’m a wimp about the hot peppers 🌶️
Love your vibe, Arnie!
The one I’ve been waiting for 😍😍
Thank you i Love it :)
Fresh lime at the end!
Arnie you’re the man. Remind me of my tío lol, keep it up. I love the content 🤙

Thank you for sharing the recipe. In the Netherlands, Serrano peppers are hard to come by. Would jalapenos be a suitable substitute? Gracias!
Where did you get the Nopal Chips
Can you show how to make a pork chili verde with corn tortillas please

Love your videos Arnie! I don't have alot of time to really cook but I need to make time over the weekend. I really want to try this salsa!
The Mexican Joe Pesci. Thanks for the salsa recipes good fella!
Depends on the age of cilantro. To some it tastes like soap to me it’s better than oregano. 🤷♂️ I don’t really know Mexican oregano is.
I love Salsa
I love salsa❤️❤️❤️
Looks delicious...
What makes a salsa fit for breakfast in particular? Is it a milder pepper?
all salsas can be for any meal or just with chips but some have just traditionally been used for breakfast like this one however it's good anytime of the day or night.
I love the one pan method. No having to clean the wifey’s blender!
Yeah my husband says I'm the "messiest cook in the west" lol. But most times I clean up my own mess. I am messy for sure but he likes the food 🥰
U so good to Hawaii
I don't like ketchup on my scrambled eggs, but I love salsa with scrambled eggs.
Enjoy my cilantro, Serrano’s and jalapeño and habaneros cold raw. 🤷♂️
I like that dark black mustache on a old veijo!
I need to make a batch for me to can. I can a variety of food for those times when we are in extreme hurry. That way we can still have that mmmmm when we can't have fresh.
Since this is cooked, have you tried canning it?
Sonvata is still available , and you can order it online

Sontava salsa is on Amazon
I used only 2 Serrano....you must be a hot tamale. It was very good...added a little lime juice too.😅
El Gallo go Hard in thy paint

Now you know lol 💪
Where do you get the nopal chips?
