Happy to see the gains even with intermittent lapses in full dedication. Without being a tour pro or single without kids and other demands of life, most of us aren't going to be able to be 100% all the time without neglecting some things that are more important. Keep it up

Thanks Jeremy and absolutely mate.. with two young kids and working I try to get them in when I can! But I am excited as it's been just over a month since the start of the journey and I've gained a fair bit of speed already. I just don't know how far I can go... This is literally uncharted territory for me at this point!
      Cheers

Congrats Joe, how things have changed.
When I first started playing, think I was 9 years old, my dad who was a 2 handicap gave me his training method.
Fing some weeds in the garden and practice trimming them, basically just grab a club and swing away. So Scientific, man he would have been blown away with all the technology we have today, I still have his Big Dog, a one and a half wood with a head smaller than my current 3 wood.
Are we better golfers or has technology just given us the boost.

Hey Ken yeah I know exactly what you mean!! Even when I was playing this stuff had only just started to come out and it wasn't common. I definitely thing golfers are getting better and better maybe not the top end of the game but definitely more good players. The depth of golfers and good golfers is just incredible now!

You’re pretty dialed in to your different distance feels with irons and wedges. Is your speed training affecting those at all?

Hey mate yes absolutely.. I've gained a bit of speed now around 6-8 mph with driver and it has definitely infected everything through the bag. Without trying to I am definitely hitting my irons slightly longer. I have also lost a bit of feel with the wedges that is definitely noticeable and showing in my videos. That being said that's a bit on me as I haven't been doing any wedge work. I did always say to myself try and get 1-2 dedicated wedge sessions in a week but that's dropped off as I am putting time into speed training.

I'm gonna have to start some speed training as well I think. I want to try and get 110mph club head speed before I'm too old to do it. I'm currently at about 104mph max so not sure if I have it in me though.
