True but would a glossy finish added to the grey part where the paint was scraped off the armor i feel like it'd add to the realism but i wouldn't wanna give the advice if it ruins it😅
For real, the black underneath just looks so much more aesthetically pleasing. Plus the repaint is pretty fire too. I think people just have nostalga towards the old look.
I hate to be that guy but that does not look good. The plates are not scaled to your size. The armor looks flat. The spacing is absolutely terrible. The fabric is way too shiny, the paint is satin when it should be matte. Before anyone rides my ass for this, I have built MMCC approved mando kits (an officially recognized 501c3 backed and supported by Disney and Lucasfilm and the elite mandalorian costuming club)

It an entirely different helmet to jangos one, jangos one was used as a trap for mace and anakin

@JimmyBrickz20 it's very much jangos armor in the movies and the series. He also confirms it in the mandalorian along with the encrypted chain code.
