Please do such work after getting advise from any IT professional. Or someone who's in cybersecurity stuffs. And please, do such things in virtual machines not in your main computer. If you use a VM then it's ok. But never try verify a site by clicking on it. I appreciate your work. But this type work is risky, especially when you mentioned some the link got to p*rn related content sites.
thanks for the advice! i did knowingly take a lot of risks with this one, which wasn't necessarily very smart. for clarification though, the p*rn i referenced was just a h*ntai manga one-shot that was part of the summer project, and not an actual adult website.
It's so great to get even more insight into the start of Fujimoto's career. I really hope someone's able to translate the webcomincs on the site so we can have a Fujimoto's entire library in english.
By “SMAPはきつそう” He means “I think SMAP is too difficult ” (maybe he wasn’t so confident about his look or singing skills that he thought he wouldn’t pass the audition) But his joke here is that he thinks he can pass the audition for AKB48 which is a “girls band”… somehow
3:08 Hey man, that actually says "Manga Okiba" not sukiba, okiba means "place of storage" in japanese, su and o are kind of similar in japanese but it has the little line on the right so you can tell it's an o Also Nama Kurimu just means fresh cream, a type of dairy product All that said, this was a pretty incredible video, it was very cool seeing this whole world of indie mangaka sending fanart to Fujimoto back when he made Ship Kick, and above all, seeing Fujimoto's art improve so much over the years is truly inspiring, having read Look Back seeing all of Fujimoto's journey in the art world from these archives is really something special, thank you very much, I feel very priviledged to be able to watch this before it inevitably (and rightfully) blows up, I wanna read Dejimon now haha It's also very funny to think that other people went down the same rabbit hole as you and all ended up on the same video of Fujimoto singing about his favorite foods
this is unironically one of the best videos i've ever seen on youtube, thank you for making me go through the rabbit hole of my favourite artist and making such a well informed funny video
I'm gonna lock into this one, this man is so interesting. His style is so unique, I'm fascinated how such a devilishly creative personality was formed.
11:34 Murige is a crazy manga. It's a death game-ish scenario where the players get to choose items from a menu to add to an inventory they can access to clear random challenges, where the catch is they lose inventory items after failing a challenge and can't they actually die (respawn on death) unless they choose "death" from the menu. Your actual body counts as part of your inventory, so that's why MC wakes up without any memories as a (dickless) torso with a head minus eyes, ears, and a nose - he's obviously been absolutely bodied by someone before the story starts. I've always thought it would've been crazy popular back when it came out if it had translations and actual art just because of the premise and the classically Fujimoto twists and turns the story takes. Also I like to think this is where Fujimoto realized how convenient it is to give characters invincibility when you're drawing insane stories.
I love how Tatsuki Fujimoto become this, mythical being in our lives with his own iceberg when he was just shitposter/basement dweller like any of us hahaha
Great video, some of the "nagatoisme artwork" circulated a few years ago in the early chainsaw man fandom (mainly the proto-Nayuta one), but I had no idea how deep this rabbithole was, really fascinating to see how expresive even his early (alleged) work is. No idea if that counts as further proof, but in the shortstory collection 22-26 Fujimoto wrote in the author comment to "waking up in a girld body syndrome" that he published it initially on an undisclosed website. So we know for a fact that Fujimoto published some of his manga on websites before officially debuting, giving us another connection.
Seeing that pixiv has a drawing of Matilda from Léon: The Professional I think that is Fujimoto. Besides his love of movies, I believe Reze is much based after her. Idk if FC2 is use much anymore but I tend to find old sites of Japanese artists and Japanese flash animations using FC2 for their sites. Lot of them tend to show off their hits (people coming in) they get on a counter, not really a Japan thing just that it's interesting to me that personal sites where a more popular thing in internet history. Should also say that google translate tends to be the worst translator sadly.
This was quite the rabbit hole, very nicely done, made for a fun video! I feel like you're becoming the go-to source for Fujimoto works/lore, if you aren't already 🤔At the very least, you are for me lol
Sometimes it feels like fujimoto isn’t even human and is literally just some otherworldly entity we can’t understand that just loves to fuck around lmao.
This is so cool. Thanks for going on this crazy internet detective search and sharing it with us! I hope more people find their way to this video, because it is real quality!
ive found at yt channel linked to the twitter page called アダンの海辺. It has a bunch of random videos of a guy who looks simaler to the guy in the levitating video. Just a hunch
Truly a great video. I wonder if it is as confusing and convoluted for Japanese speaking people or is it just a few clicks away lmao. Great job, this video is going places.
This is one of the best videos in the CSM fandom, period. And that's saying something. One thing, though - there are online services that let you check how old a site is, you could've used that to verify when the webpage was made. But it's alright! You managed to confirm its legitimacy anyway. Seriously wondering how the people who first found this website came across it. Anyway, thanks a lot for diving into the rabbithole! Super interesting and in-depth video.
thank you! i figured services like that existed, but couldn't find one that confirmed the site, even though i tried many. probably just didn't find the right ones!
@@fukuroufetus Right, I should've known! Sorry for amusing. Out of curiosity, I tried one of the services (DupliLink) and it says that the domain was first created in 1999??? And that the last update to the webpage was in 2019. Wonder if it has anything to do with the framework the site was built on, if there was any, that is. Maybe the fc2 can point us in the right direction? Not gonna go into it right now since I gotta sleep, but there's still a bunch of stuff to dig around for, it seems. p.s. the page I checked was the home page (/index).
This is a really great video, I didn't knew about your channel but it is really cool to see I'm not the only one obsessed with Tatsuki Fujimoto, I'm definitely going to check out more of your videos!
This video came out a long time ago and I may be late but I'm sure I've already heard the second song that was deleted from the RUclips channel at minute 9:08 (which implies that it wasn't deleted long ago). It was just a very simple song where he repeated the family name and another word (I don't know Japanese so I can't say), I'm sure a lot of people heard it too and I remember very well how it sounded.
i actually remembered a few hours before publishing this: "oh shit, ah lecks made a 'deepest dive to chainsaw man' vid", thinking maybe this topic had already been discussed in it. watched it in panic (as this vid was already completed) and luckily it didn't go into "NagatoIsMe" lmao. edit: typo
i think this is my best video. probably. such a fun time. i had 103 tabs open while researching, but my laptop survived. thanks for watching!
keep up the great content
Have you considered reading and reviewing a loanshark ushijima. It's a pretty good manga but hard to read. You'll understand when you start it
Stephen there's so much i need to read, but i'll try my hardest to get to the recommendations i've recieved! this one goes on the list.

i really wanna do a collab with someone who's capable of translating them accurately.
Small correction:
The text at around 5:00 actually says "My dream is to be the first male member of AKB (SMAP seems too strict)"
thank you! i knew reading shit translations was a gamble lmao

LMAOOOOOOOOO
Thanks a lot for translating!! And that was a pretty big correction, I must say.
It feels like we've discovered the void section of Fujimoto's iceberg we were never supposed to find. Excellent Video and research!

People are putting more effort into digging up Fujimoto's old accounts than solving Cicada 3301 back in the day
I love it
this is unironically one of the best videos i've ever seen on youtube, thank you for making me go through the rabbit hole of my favourite artist and making such a well informed funny video
Man when you got the twitter followed discovery I too got goosebumps, as it got all connected at the end. Chills
I'm gonna lock into this one, this man is so interesting. His style is so unique, I'm fascinated how such a devilishly creative personality was formed.
i’m genuinely really interesting in fujimoto. i’m as interested in him as i am interested in his works
Amazing video! The atmosphere you created in video made me really curious and your conclusion was very satisfying, good job doing that!
thank you!

can't find anything about "murige manga" anywhere on the internet
@@kade6070 It's not translated sadly
I love how Tatsuki Fujimoto become this, mythical being in our lives with his own iceberg when he was just shitposter/basement dweller like any of us hahaha
btw the black and white fanart with a girl at 12:48 seems to be drawn by sui ishida, I have seen it many times in archives with his old art

this is the amount of research I do to find people from my school on social media

FC2 is also used by the mangaka ONE where he published One Punch Man. Very interesting stuff.
kind of insane how much lore fujimoto has lol
his lore is as deep as his works

Haore is probably not a surname as Nagato Ha Ore is a way to romanize “Nagato is me” in Japanese. Great video though!
Wow, thank you. I liked chainsaw man, and now I love fire punch. What a great manga creator, thanks for making the video!
I have a feeling this is gonna blow up, nice job fetus😊
Genius, good work man

Your videos make me get so interested because how you speak not even just voice, but like how you present information
Didnt expect to actually get interested before watching the first minutes
Truly a great video. I wonder if it is as confusing and convoluted for Japanese speaking people or is it just a few clicks away lmao. Great job, this video is going places.
Bro I think you should do a playlist of Tatsuki Fujimoto so people can see this whole thing with context.
love the kays cooking shoutout. she may not make the best food but she’s so pure
12:49
Holy f*ck that's Ishida Sui old artstyle
That's really his old art damn
Yeah that’s him when he was Sotonami

like it was really entertaining delving into fujimoto's lore

This was so interesting!
the video is made in such high quality
Love it
I watched your video through thoroughly and when it came to the final seconds at the end i was enlightened at how that figet spinner spun
I love how he goes all in on the owners and chefs but always stays respectful towards the waiters
I wasn't subscribed however the message you wrote talking about how your video got age restricted is how I got here 😂
nagatohaore isn’t a last name lol, just the romanization of 長門は俺 (Nagato is me)
also his pixiv username is Nagayama Koharu, idk why it’s translated into Chinese for half the name
thanks for the corrections!

This entire video is underrated asf man, u deserve some actual attention after all of this research.
Fujimoto kinda seems like a Japanese Zach Hadel
dude i hope you have 8 billion subs someday
This video is gonna reach places
Bro you are fucking genius and goddamn I can't imagine myself spending that much on searching for shit like that even as a crazy fuj4imoto fan myself.

This vid was fun to watch I was opening the links along with the video
I like that Fujimoto and Sui Ishida looks like friends☺️
It is sad that the waitress passed away after a few months since the episode aired. She seemed like a good person.
I wonder who else is hiding secrets. That’s just so fucked up to think about.
like Felix over reacting to the pasta being cooked before service

hmmm.. ship kick, shark kick... kick back ?
small correction: the text at 3:09 says "manga okiba" and not "manga sukiba" Manga Okiba
the bgm makes this video feel so creepy lol
The pixiv account name isn't Koharu Changsan, it's Kanji for Nagayama Koharu, the same name the sister account has, but that's written in Hiragana.
Hearing the old hows it going bros is 10
hey fetus. on 3:15 it actually says まんが (漫画) おきば (置き場)this would translate to manga corner.
oh someone already made correction haha nvm
bro you did a really good job at explaining it i wish i had a big brain or pepe lke you :D
Pewdiepie and Gorgon Ramsay in one video.... I can die happy now
変態で天才!

Nagato Haore
Haore is not the surname,
To more properly write it, it says, “Nagato ha(は/wa) ore”, meaning “Nagato is me”
Damn, what a deep dive
