- This video is our ride review of a very cool bike from Honda. Sure it's not the power juggernaut you all know and love from the CBR series of bikes. But it's not a slug either. So who is this bike really made for? We find out in this episode of the cyclehunters.
Enjoy and thank you.
I know this is an old video now, but I am exactly the person described. I have a TZR250 in the early nineties (loved it) and then life happened got married, kids etc. Now I am 50 and about to return to biking. I am also short, 28" inseam. I want a bike thats more powerful than my 250 but has the high revs like the old 250 so an inline 4 seemed nice. I like the Aprilia RS660 but I cannot touch the ground on that. Sat on a CBR650R and found I could touch both sides! So I am off today to order a new 2024 model. I think it will be a great back to biking fit for me.
Enjoyed your review and chat about it.
Yea Russ that's great. Hope you find the ride that will inspire you to ride and just enjoy life.
I’d describe the 650 best as a mile muncher. Keep your 600/1k super sport for the canyons and the 650 for if you just wanna cruise.
YEp. It's a great all day easy bike to just cruise around on yet still have a little punch.
That is not a good beginner bike. Let's put a 16 year old on it , then add two cans on beer.
It's an excellent beginner bike for anyone especially who can sit on it comfortably. Flat footed is best. But hopefully no 16 yr olds are drinking and riding at all. Let alone at any age. But in our experience most newbies learn rather quickly if given the proper time and instruction so they can easily get on this bike as it is very unintimidating. It's pretty tame for sure. So anyone at entry level would do fine if they have a basic confidence of their own cooridination.
@@CycleHunters only a complete jackass Biden voter would put a beginner on a 650 Honda 4 cylinder.
@Catsanova Have you ever ridden the 650? It’s not even close to the performance of any 600 supersport! It’s okay for bikes that aren’t 250s to be beginner oriented.
hate to be the one to bring this to your attention... but your reviewing a bike thats old news now being 3 years old...... and.. well.. no one realy cares about it
We don't really care to be honest. We are riding and reviewing a bike we have in stock and are selling. This is more for the prospective buyer who isn't in the market for brand new.
