You are really great at teaching, the way you explain a subject is very easy to digest.
Damn just got into Phaseplant recently. I'm so stoked you posted this, Protostar! Love listening to your music, and I love how you're now teaching us to make the type of basses we love! Big ups, man!
You should definitely make more tutorials. The whole manipulating wavetables though envelopes thing has helped me immensely to achieve the kind of sounds I've been trying to get via other methods, and somehow couldn't ever ever get it at all the LFO way. Amazing work!

Nice tutorial, but would really like to see some tutorials that don't use premium fx. Seriously, Phase Plant should come with those fx or just not have them at all. It feels very wrong to have in app purchases after already buying the software. I just got phase plant from Splice on their rent to own, but thinking about just cancelling the RTO plan, as almost every single freaking tutorial I see, uses "premium" fx. I have never seen a plugin before that, after you buy it, you don't get everything included. Do you have any tutorials that don't use premium fx?? It's really frustrating when I can't follow along with anyone fully. I can't afford the premium fx either rn. Kilohearts should do something about this. Makes zero sense to do this to customers. Anyway, it's a good tutorial bro, but I can't follow once you start using premium stuff.
I really hope this doesn't become a trend with other companies. Having to purchase the software, and then purchase other things inside the same software.
We.dont need to know the exact settings on your compressor. WTF do you keep reading them off to us? What possible value could that possibly provide?
Because people who are new often will have no idea on what to do with compression. Keep your aggressive comment to yourself.
