due to many reasons i am unable to make live music playing drums and bass like i had for 20+ years and decided to give creating in a DAW another shot relatively recently, and this channel as well as databroth, have been such a massive inspiration as far as sound design and creative approaches to things. Phaseplant, infiltrator, so many other cool things i found on this channel. Thanks for taking the time to share all this stuff. i finally decided that after spending a couple hundred hours doing sound design in vital it was time to see what else was out there, and picked phaseplant up and was very happy to see you have a whole playlist dedicated to it. I had some experience with electronic music playing drums and bass along with two EDM producers live, and a few other projects i was involved in that mixed live drums with computers, so its so fun to be in the other seat. I really miss performing live, but learning all of this has been helping to scratch that itch a little bit.
Oh man, this evening I had all the time I needed to really test Phaseplant deep (I wanted to try a specific function and I ended up cloning entire Reaktor devices) and now I'm so in love with it that I started writing an entire hi-tech soundbank for this beauty and I worked on it for 7-8 hours straight. This synth is truly ultra powerful, I really think that's the most powerful modular synthesizer in the world, second only to my beloved N.I. Reaktor which, however, is totally something else: a complete modular studio with object-oriented "programming language" and Core Cell sub-language...but, I repeat, Reaktor is something else while Phaseplant is a """normal""" modular synth in VST format and there is NOTHING so powerful on the market. So, what to say? I was SHOCKED by how it sounds cobined with the infinite potential that this software offers me... and I'm not talking about modulation only. I'm used to make almost anything with Bitwig Studio's Grid (I've been using Bitwig since version 1, it's 9 years that I'm on that beast and when Grid was released it immediately became my bread) and Vital, which is a great semi-modular synth that allows me to do everything quickly and with great quality (plus it's free and in CLAP new open plug-in format), but from NOW Phaseplant will be my Swiss army knife!!! Not only have I cloned some of the Reaktor ensembles that I use the most (by the way: soon I will create a Facebook page on which I will share all the psytrance devices that I've created in 20 years of development... I hope you have Reaktor and will download them , I will share them for free and I would be happy to see some of them in your videos) but I've already started creating a whole bank of new hitech sounds, which I will then use in my productions (from watery to glitchy, from organic to mechanical, from granular to psysical, etc...). I really recommend this product to everyone because it is truly AWESOME ; all you need is this to do anything, excellent quality psytrance tracks with just one VST. My only limit is my imagination alone and with this beast I really can do some very complex synthesis.
thanks a lot for the detailed tutorial! but by watching it a question of another nature arose to me: in the tutorial you use the trance gate. now i recently discovered that all vsts that get synced by the internal clock (i use Ableton live) seem to suffer from the same dysfunction: they are all out of sync (this seems to be a more common problem) but on top of that they all seem to 1. only run a one bar loop an then reset and 2. they don't reset to the first step of the sequence but to the fourth.. since this occurs in the same manner for all of my plugins that feature a step sequencer of some sort i assume that the source of the problem must lie within the settings of ableton itself. maybe i unintentionally changed a setting and can't redo it. do you (or does anybody) have an idea what the problem could be here? thx a lot in advance ;) cheers

Yeah I think it will be Ableton or y9ur settings. I use FL and I haven't had that problem.
I am a addict ...... to phase plant
Awesome plugin 4 real
sup man love your vids! in any chance if you got your hands on polyverse gatekeeper or manipulator pls make a vid :) anyways keep up the good content!
vital was trying to beat serum and then phase plant comes from the future to beat both.
Can anyone say, how to import kilohearts plugins manually into phaseplant?
What you mean by "import"? You just pick them up from the list when you click on one of the FX busses.
Algorithm
hey you need to update your phase plant...your way behind
where can i do that???
