I pretty much only open up Phase Plant now, and I have tons of other synths. So fantastic, and learning about the wavetable editor now makes it way even more fantastic now.

You did it again!! I saw 8 videos about the wave table editor, this is only one that makes it understandable and inspiring. Thank you so much!!!

Really glad to see Phase Plant beginning to get the love it deserves.

I always preferred to work with classical instruments, synthesizers were not very interesting, but Kilohearts changed my approach to working with sound. Thank you! Phase Plant is very easy to learn. a great tool for both beginners and experienced composers.

The requirements for which WAV files can be inserted into wavetables seem to be overly specific. I haven't been able to import any sample, trying out different lengths and resolutions.

The synth is good and refreshing but I don't like the way it handles parameters. Sadly there are barely any MIDI mappable parameters available to Ableton. I press the Configure button, then tweak a parameter on Phase Plant and nothing happens (with any other VST the parameter would appear in the parameters section), so I can't even set up I this manually as I did with Serum. I can change practically anything I want on Serum with my Push 2.

Hi Sean. Thanks for the comment. Due to the modular nature of Phase Plant, it's not a simple thing to have every possible parameter MIDI mappable and have them also be easily added, removed, and tweaked. Instead, you can map the macro knobs to any parameters within Phase Plant and map MIDI to those.

@@Kilohearts ok I see your point. Thx for the reply.
I will just hope that someday this whole VST host -> VST plugin integration thing will be reworked somehow so that it would suit plugins with a more dynamic approach better (like the Phase Plant). For now I'll just have to split my music production activity to two different activities, namely "composing with the Push" and "sound design with the Phase Plant".

Phase Plant blows the competition out of the water. It's such an insanely flexible synthesizer and it's modulation capabilities give the user endless possibility of sound design. The only real competitor I can think of is UVI Falcon, which despite its incredible complexity, lacks the speed and intuitiveness of PhasePlant.

Is there a Limit to how much WaveTables you can have open?
