Same. I knew her as Layla first as a kid in the early 2000s and it was even printed on merch. I would scroll threw the wiki and wonder "Who the heck is Aisha?!"
It's interesting that the creator stated that the Trix were triplets, because way before they were explicitly stated not to be siblings on the show, it seemed pretty evident that they weren't actually sisters. There are multiple times in the series were it was obvious they didn't know much about each other's pasts and talk to each other about their childhoods. First one that comes to mind is season 3 in the episode Flora gets her Enchantix. The Trix fall into the Tears of the Black Willow water and turn into pre-teens. They then start to make fun of each other because they didn't know what the others looked like at that age. They call each other sisters because they were in the same coven, not because they were literal sisters.
You don't realise how ridiculous things were until you look back on them, also stormy literally says "we are sisters" during the arc where Flora gets her enchantix 😐.
@@ndiyabucaphukelaubusobakho1732 they call each other sisters because that is what witches from the same coven call each other. Not just in Winx, it's a thing across all witch folklore. Your coven is your family. It's not because they are literal blood related sisters. It's the same way you'd call your best friends your sisters/brothers, or calling a close family friend your cousin/uncle/aunt.
Nothing on the Specialists? They’re a core part of the show and the love interests of the Winx girls with a big twist of season 1 being the identity swap of Sky and Brandon (and a love triangle involving Ariana Grande).
I mean, the video seems to focus on the production of the show as well as the main characters. And the Specialists are recurring support characters but they aren't very fleshed out. I've never even seen any solid information on their design inspirations/background/scrapped concepts/etc. so I'm not surprised tbh.

Even some cartoons catering to a younger audience, such as MLP: FIM had self discovery and character development and have much better stories than the entirety of the Nickelodeon revival of Winx Club.
I think I remember an interview somewhere where the creator talks about how from seasons 5 to 7 and then from 8 onwards they received pressures from the network to cater the show to younger and younger kids, which explains the changes in the writing and the animation. It's really a shame, I think that turned away so many kids that were growing up while the show was being dumbed down... Also, finding out from this video that the creator only intended on 3 seasons makes a lot of their later writing choices make sense

About fact 95: the time it takes to graduate from Alfea has been reduced because of the cultural shift from Italian culture to a more America-centric/international one. High school lasts 5 years (starting from the end of middle school/year 8 - so grades from 9 to 11 don't exist in Italy) here. Since Bloom is canonically 16 years old at the beginning of season 1 (meaning she's a 3rd year at some unnamed Italian highschool), it would make sense that she has just finally graduated from middle school and is going to Alfea for highschool. In the end, if we adapt to the American system, she graduates Alfea at 19yo, in time to go to college (if it wasn't for the reboot). While in we stay fateful to the Italian canon, she would graduate at 21 years old. That also implies she's somewhat older than the other Winx who join Alfea at the same time as her (in Italy is perfectly normal to have people in your highschool class that are one or sometimes two years older than you, mostly bc they changed school or failed the year before).
True, I would also like to add that in the first episode it is canon that Stella is repeating the year unlike the other winx as a result of her destroying one of the classroom. Because of this, I’m pretty sure her and Bloom are probably the same age.
I used to love Winx Club, I still have a lot of dolls that me and my sisters used to have! Some of my best memories come from Winx. I should really finish watching season 7, I didn't watch much of it because I didn't like the change in the voice actors, but maybe I'll watch it and give season 8 a try as well!
@Nonaya Bidness Honestly I loved season 4, it's the one I remember as it came out on TV most, I also really enjoyed season 5. I don't remember much of season 6, but I don't think I was ever there like "oh this sucks" like I was thinking while watching some of season 7. Then again, I was born in 2005 and as my older sisters used to watch Winx I would have been pretty young when most of it came out for me to watch so would have probably liked it no matter what happened in it.
S1-4 were the best. S5 and s6 are okay. S7 is veryy boring makes you sleepy and s8 is the worst just the story is alright and the upcoming season will be a reboot so.
The art style and the animation in S8 was one of the biggest downgrade in the Winx Club Universe, The voice actors wasn’t that bad, the storyline was kinda good though. But the fact that they looks so much younger than their actual age, made it so terrible and unacceptable. They should’ve stick to their original and old art style whether it’s from S1-S4 or S5-S7, and now they rebooted the whole series all over again and made it to a CGI 3D animated style.
I feel like winx could have easily ended off at season 4 + the magical adventures movie like they're growing up, running a pet shop, also the fact that sky proposed to bloom in the movie it would have been way better to just see them live their life instead of another season of them back in school again like they're forever stuck at a specific age
I wish season 4 would be about Winx exploring new powers of Enchantix rather than believix and roxy like for example Stella discovering her Moon powers.

One of my favourite shows growing up! Flora was my favourite! I remember watching the series till the end only to start over once it ended might have to revist it for nostalgia! Good times! 🧚♀️👏
This is my absolute favorite show growing up, I remember back when I was 6 years old I was getting ready to watch Rai 2 (which was back when I lived in Italy since that's where I was born, until I moved to USA in 2007) and I watched the first episode of the show and I was blown away and I was obsessed with Winx Club ever since
I swear I might have watched all of Winx Club back in the day and I was kind of excited about it being on Netflix, although we all know what happens when cartoons are made into real stuff on there. Alas, I started watching it on Netflix and... It was to be expected... Half of the cast was missing, half of the remaining wasn't even the same (personaily and phisically changed) and lots of "classic teen drama" for no reason. But, they were redeaming themselves at the end of the season, just to give that finale that was complete bs and now I hate it even more
There’s so many more facts about Aisha, y’all only mentioned her for like 30 seconds But to be fair, the series/franchise treats her poorly as well so 😒
I think they did layla well in season 3. She was the first to get her enchantix and the bravest against valtor. And i loved her debut in season 2. But perhaps when she lost nabu and turned heel in season 4, that might have been an issue
Wow ok now you have guys have to do W.I.T.C.H! the show came out on December 18th, 2004 and it ended in December 2006. It was a really interesting show about 5 girls becoming guardians, learning how to use their powers, becoming best friends and still having to go to school.
Yes! This was also popular in my country! In my primary school there was always a battle of whether Witch or Winx is better, but I always enjoyed both.
You guys have no idea how long I waited for this. EDIT: You guys forgot about the lawsuit Disney made against Rainbow for Winx club because of similarities to W.I.T.C.H.. This caused the creator to never work with Disney at all.
Another thing I learned. When Diaspro goes to transform into her fairy form, she yells “Diaspro Prince” instead of Diaspro princess in one of the English dubs due to a mistranslation.
Next to Mysticons, Monster High, and Ever After High, this is one of those shows I loved to watch without feeling judged. It was an an amazing show with amazing characters. I sometimes even go back and watched it from the beginning. (Mostly the Nickelodeon version) Out of all of them, Aisha was the best. I had a crush on Bloom basically because... she's Bloom. I honestly just don't care for season 8 or Fate: The Winx Saga. Both of these just ruined the series
Season 8 was not the first time that Winx Club was soft rebooted. Around 2010, Straffi has planned Season 5 to give Roxy more importance, but when Viacom struck a deal with Straffi, that has been scrapped and reworked as part of a total relaunch. Starting with the 4 specials, summarizing the first 2 seasons, and then the dubs of Seasons 3 and 4, and then Season 5.
I'm surprised you didn't mention the fact that Disney tried to sue the company for copying there show witch's but failed because the show was in development long before which is even appeared
As a die hard fan, i can tell this video was well worked with amazing facts! i love how clips from all the seasons were included, world of winx and even fate.. Would've liked a little more about the specialists too tho.
So no one's gonna talk about how Flora's little sister was around 6 years old when first introduced, was shown to be attending Alfea in a later season, and was a child again in an even later season? K.
The Specialists in season 8 look like their pre-teen younger brothers, and discount Power Rangers who can’t hold their own. The original versions were at least able to put up a fight and not rely on the girls.
Winx club is such a big part of my childhood! It was really popular in France. Btw in the french dub, Aisha has always been called Layla. It's too bad you didn't have any facts about the movies
Another fact is that in one of the versions of the movie Magical Adventure, when the Winx try to get into Domino’s castle to see Bloom, Flora introduces herself as the princess of her home world. It is not mentioned in the show, in any of the other movies because if it were canon, she would have been at the meeting of the royals in season five that Bloom, Stella, and Aisha attend.
Special fact is that You should know: Stella's dress resembles to Sailor Venus/Minako Aino that she ALSO wears orange! Stella is a fairy of sunshine and beauty!
Roxy did something that Flora, Stella and Aisha couldn’t. And that was become a main character in season 4 other than Bloom and people were debating who would’ve been the secondary main winx Flora or Stella lol
@@kavyashah8131 it’s because the seasons after Season 4 were written to be a relaunch instead of a direct continuation, so they had to drop a lot of the plot points and characters they set up in Season 4.

Fact series: The return|(3) Did you know that there are spiders that can walk on water? Yep, some spiders can walk on water, for example; Fishing spiders can walk on water because of something called surface tension. Explanation as to why? It's simple, water molecules are attracted to each other, this bond is stronger at the surface where water meets the air, which helps hold this crafty spider above the water surface. [Bonus] Hello friends! How are you today? I hope you are doing wonderful! Anyway, there are so many interesting facts about spiders I'm quite surprised to be honest, from gender-changing spider things and flying spiders to water walking spiders. 18:21 I guess that's because they received Enchantix early. And that's why they got graduated earlier. It's like they don't have anything to teach them because they're already some grown-up and powerful fairies. That's it.
18:20 Is that truly the case? I believed that she possibly only gained her charmix form and they used the Believix transformation theme music for strange reasons. Hmmm... Another 107 facts sequel about this video please, there's some stuff not yet mentioned in this current 1. :)
I enjoyed this list, Thank you! I didn't wanna try the live action version, but I adore the cartoon version because of it's story! Can't wait for season 9! This show's been a great binge since the pandemic started!
I have a fact to tell you: Season 8 confirms that the Winx can use the transformations that they previously acquired after earning new ones, as they used Enchantix and Sirenix in the season.
While watching this. The iconic US opening of Winx went on loop in my head. Also I never knew they already had 8 seasons. I only watch all the way to the 4th.
One extra thing to add about fact number 11, to me the strangest choice off censorship was the removal of certain mouth close-ups, most notably in the season 2 Charmix transformation, and one other time in season 3 where Aisha yells Enchantix. Of all the things to remove, why that? And another odd detail being Flora never having one to begin with, and Musa having an extra detail in there.
Can you please talk about W.I.T.C.H. it's a french/italian show that talks about five girls: Will Irma Taranee Cornelia and Hay Lin who find out that they are the "guardians" five girls with each power over an element with the duty to protect the Earth and other magical works. It started out as a Disney Italia comic and later become a cartoon thanks to Jetix France)if I remember correctly what made it,I know for sure it was in France) with only two seasons, there was supposed to be a third one but it was put in stand by and never picked up. Flora was my favorite winx too! lol I wanted to be her
Winx Club is one of my favorite childhood series! I’m glad ya’ll are doing a 107 facts about it
One of my favourite shows growing up! Flora was my favourite! I remember watching the series till the end only to start over once it ended might have to revist it for nostalgia! Good times! 🧚♀️👏
yep
I'm doing a rewatch and it's great to feel the magic of the series again. I really recommend doing so.
Flora got whitewashed
@@cloudynate3734 are you talking about netflix winx?
Bloom is my fav 🤩😍
But, they were redeaming themselves at the end of the season, just to give that finale that was complete bs and now I hate it even more
Your brave. I couldnt get past the first episode because of how different it was and what they were going for. And leaving out flora was a crime.
There’s so many more facts about Aisha, y’all only mentioned her for like 30 seconds
But to be fair, the series/franchise treats her poorly as well so 😒
Not true...Aisha has one of the most important roles in the whole series
@RobiDiverse actually its original 5, Aisha cam in season 2...
I think they did layla well in season 3. She was the first to get her enchantix and the bravest against valtor. And i loved her debut in season 2. But perhaps when she lost nabu and turned heel in season 4, that might have been an issue
Aisha was my favourite, I related to her loneliness when she first came in the group and I wanted to be athletic like her.
not really. she had the most love interest and was brave enough to go up against valtor and her cousin in season 5.
Winx Club is one of my favorite childhood shows!
You guys should do one for Monster High. That way I can show my neice.
I loved Monster High!
@@erinthedemonhog2090 So does my niece. Which I don’t blame her for.
Can we all appreciate all the work channel fredorator does in there videos for our entertainment
Wow ok now you have guys have to do W.I.T.C.H!
the show came out on December 18th, 2004 and it ended in December 2006. It was a really interesting show about 5 girls becoming guardians, learning how to use their powers, becoming best friends and still having to go to school.
Guardians Unite!
YES!!!
Yes! This was also popular in my country! In my primary school there was always a battle of whether Witch or Winx is better, but I always enjoyed both.
@@Kaskaderka016 Exactly! Both shows were great, since Winx was revived by Nickelodeon but W.I.T.C.H was a good show.
This was one of my favorite shows of the 2000’s. Too bad they ruined winx club for me after S5 😭😭😭
girl, you should see season 7, its a mess.
10:35 Techna simply needed herself a technicality for a new outfit. And I think we should celebrate her for her quick thinking and sacrifice.
You guys have no idea how long I waited for this.
EDIT: You guys forgot about the lawsuit Disney made against Rainbow for Winx club because of similarities to W.I.T.C.H.. This caused the creator to never work with Disney at all.
Same
And then they show it on Disney Channel in Spain, turkey ,the Netherlands and Belgium lol xx
Another thing I learned. When Diaspro goes to transform into her fairy form, she yells “Diaspro Prince” instead of Diaspro princess in one of the English dubs due to a mistranslation.
When does she say Princess.
Both of these just ruined the series
bruh someone else remembers Mysticons!?
Season 8 was not the first time that Winx Club was soft rebooted. Around 2010, Straffi has planned Season 5 to give Roxy more importance, but when Viacom struck a deal with Straffi, that has been scrapped and reworked as part of a total relaunch. Starting with the 4 specials, summarizing the first 2 seasons, and then the dubs of Seasons 3 and 4, and then Season 5.
@@robinsordahl8947 oh I see. yeah that explains a lot
I REMEMBER MYSTICONS
What is Mysticons?
the domino sparks thing bothered me to the core SOOOOO MUCH. But Aisha/Layla never botherd me i just thought layla was a nickname
In the Dutch version Aisha is called Leyla (at least i remember to call her that)
I'm surprised you didn't mention the fact that Disney tried to sue the company for copying there show witch's but failed because the show was in development long before which is even appeared
Yeah they messed up Miele’s timeline
I just want to know WHY they made them look RIDICULOUS in sea8 & can you do facts for the movies next?
The Specialists in season 8 look like their pre-teen younger brothers, and discount Power Rangers who can’t hold their own. The original versions were at least able to put up a fight and not rely on the girls.
they were targeting a younger generation on purpose
Winx club is such a big part of my childhood! It was really popular in France. Btw in the french dub, Aisha has always been called Layla. It's too bad you didn't have any facts about the movies
I know you guys are not gonna see this but that's my picture at 7:18! I feel honored to have a hand in making this video!
I love winx club as kid. Can you please do 107 facts on Garfield.
I will never forgive the writers for killing off Nabu. His and Layla/Aisha's relationship was so perfect and they deserved better.
You should make a full timeline of this show
Next 107 should be:
🌟Demon Slayer 😈
🌟Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja 🥷
🌟Xiaolin Showdown 👊
🌟Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu 🥷
-Krytpo the Superdog 🐕
🌟Making Fiends 💚💙
🌟El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera 🐯
AAAA IS THIS A DREAM????
FRESH WINX CONTENT FROM A NON-WINXTUBER
Special fact is that You should know: Stella's dress resembles to Sailor Venus/Minako Aino that she ALSO wears orange!
Stella is a fairy of sunshine and beauty!
She’s NOT the fairy of beauty. She’s the fairy of the shining sun and moon
Fact 51: bloom earned her enchantix while being at pyros, also not her home world
Roxy did something that Flora, Stella and Aisha couldn’t. And that was become a main character in season 4 other than Bloom and people were debating who would’ve been the secondary main winx Flora or Stella lol
Also one of Aisha's VA was Keke Palmer who is a movie actress
and diaspro was voiced by ariana grande and Daphne was Elizabeth Gilles!!!
They completely retconned how the magic dimension was created, instead of the Great Dragon's flame it is now "Sparx" for Season 8.
That part made me mad
An important fact u missed: THAT ROXY IS NOT A PART OF THE WINX she is like Daphne
Rainbow actually did officially call her the seventh Winx in their merchandise, comics, books etc.
@@mijame3314 Ok if she was/is the 7th winx member why have they not shown her in all the seasons
@@kavyashah8131 it’s because the seasons after Season 4 were written to be a relaunch instead of a direct continuation, so they had to drop a lot of the plot points and characters they set up in Season 4.
Pop off sis 👏
( 13:02 ) I'M WELSH BUT I DON'T SPEAK WELSH OTHER THAN IN MY WELSH LESSONS AT SCHOOL SO I NEVER KNEW THIS- THIS IS SO FUNNY HELP
Definitely one of the shows that gave us all a funny pants feeling.
This show was very big in Mexico I couldn’t wait to leave school to watch it .
Winx was so ahead of it's time!
I love Winx Club! I decided to watch it from the begining coz it's been so long
After all the inspirations, techinal difficulties, dubs, production, franchise and even dolls and toys.they made six perfect girls that molds our childhood memories forever and that show is winx club. I admit that I can't escape reality without them😊😊❤❤
Roxy: HMPH
My biggest flex now is having the same birthday as Straffi and Musa🙏
I haven never clicked on anything faster in my life.
Winx was my entire childhood and forever will be-
Saaaame 🥰
fun fact: the german opening for season 1 is an in-house production and is completely different than the original. if someone wants to listen, it's called " heller als licht" (means "brighter than light"). quite catchy 😁
Can we get an complete timeline of the Winx club ? I love those videos 😍🥰
Fact series: The return|(3)
Did you know that there are spiders that can walk on water?
Yep, some spiders can walk on water, for example; Fishing spiders can walk on water because of something called surface tension.
Explanation as to why? It's simple, water molecules are attracted to each other, this bond is stronger at the surface where water meets the air, which helps hold this crafty spider above the water surface.
[Bonus]
Hello friends!
How are you today?
I hope you are doing wonderful!
Anyway, there are so many interesting facts about spiders I'm quite surprised to be honest, from gender-changing spider things and flying spiders to water walking spiders.
Fortunately, there's no record of spiders that can withstand fire.
Welp that's it for today's fact!
I hope you enjoy it and also have a wonderful day my Friends!
BEST CHILDHOOD SHOWS! WINK CLUB, EVER AFTER HIGH, totally spies, Kim possible, MORE than 50% can AGREE with ME THAT THEY WERE THEY BEST SHOWS IN THE 2000'S
YAY! In the pilot the trix looked like ancestral witches.
107 Facts about Blue's Clues! This year was the 25th Anniversary of the show!
At this rate I don’t even consider season 8 cannon.
I like the fact that flora has the most near death experience
4:54 here in Bulgaria on Ekids they play winx from 12:20 -13:40-- and from --21:00-- to --7:00-- o'clock the next day-
I was thinking of this show yesterday Tbh
Omg this is the best christmas present you could've provided me with ❤❤❤
I actually stopped watching “Winx Club” after the “Believix” season.
same and seeing what comes after its the best decision we could make i think
the last good season fr
Tecna in the early comics was the princess of her home world but in the tv series she has is not the princess of her home world
If you play Roblox, you know Royal High used to be called Winx Club.
I enjoyed this list, Thank you! I didn't wanna try the live action version, but I adore the cartoon version because of it's story! Can't wait for season 9! This show's been a great binge since the pandemic started!
I have a fact to tell you: Season 8 confirms that the Winx can use the transformations that they previously acquired after earning new ones, as they used Enchantix and Sirenix in the season.
in number 7 you forgot to mention that aisha is based on beyoncé
While watching this. The iconic US opening of Winx went on loop in my head. Also I never knew they already had 8 seasons. I only watch all the way to the 4th.
Winx club is still fantastic years later. 😀👍
Thank you so much channelfrederator l love winx club so much can't wait for season 9 to come out next year.
Random fun fact : If you look hard enough, especially when she's underwater, Stella's Sirenix Wings are actually upside-down 🙃 hehe
Why am I only now learning there was a Welsh dub. Now I must find this
God I used to love this show when I was younger, both this and power rangers used to be be the only things I watched on netflix
Isn’t it also stated that Flora is NOT a princess? I feel like I remember that being mentioned when they visit her home planet
Musa isn’t either, Galatea is The Princess of melody
@@katied1964 Oh yeah! I forgot about that! It’s been so long since I watched
Hey, ChannelFrederator. You guys should definitely do a video on 107 facts about The Flintstones!
7:20 .. just saving my spot :)
Another fact about Winx Club that you should know is that "Fate The Winx Saga" was introduced as a live action Netflix series in 2021.
Yooooo a memory was just unlocked
First
I remember watching this on 4kids and was so surprised years later that it went on for so long.
I love Winx club best transformation enchantix 💖
Why no one talking about the fact that Letizia Ciampa also voiced Sayu Yagami from Death Note?
Another fact: One of the most popular roblox games was originally a Winx Club Game!
You mean Royale High? Well,it still is popular not to mention controversial!
But yet the Trix can have Disenchantix?
FINALLY WINX CLUB!!!
Fun fact, Aisha was called Layla in some dubs mostly due to, uh, islamofobia...
Never thought they would do 107 for winx club! Not that I'm complaining or anything!
It was really good and was actually very mature. It was very good
Are you guys going make a timeline on winx club?
Can we have W.I.T.C.H. for the next 108 fact?
