They are fast even when they are cubs 😺
Well fast compared to a human maybe. But they're the same size as fully grown housecats, and I'm sure a housecat that size could outrun him too. You can't catch a cat who doesn't want to be caught, they can run like 30 mph.

This guy is out there in the sun and green grass playing with two cheetahs to teach them how to hunt and I'm stuck here having to shovel crushed asphalt onto the driveway.
He probably spent a lot of time doing overeducated underpayed and way oversupplied jobs to get there. I'm guessing that job is like winning the lottery (on top of hard work). My sympathies though, asphalt sounds heavy.

is there a reason why these vids about sambu and toki are released in reversed chronological order?
If you got to know them well over time, and developed an attachment and fondness, then finally learned the fate of one of them would be a terrible and painful shock. Perhaps that was the BBC's thinking, who knows. I know I would be heartbroken.
It's so when you initially saw the death, you're just sad and not bawling your eyes out because you saw them grow up.

A wonderful video showing that even though the Cheetah is traditionally a wild animal, that sometimes, under some circumstances humans can befriend them. It makes me realise, that deep down humans and cheetahs aren't so different after-all. More proof that God is amazing. Amen.
