The most dangerous thing about a captive, relatively "tame" Cheetah is their 80 grit sandpaper tongue removing the skin from your face when it's kissing you.
Because they are totally different animals. Just because they are often named together doesn't mean they have a similar significance for humans. Our ancestors were probably killed by leopards and their relatives for millennia.

David J this guy is so crazy i was so stressed all the video how did he manage to stay calm near them
Because they are totally different animals. Just because they are often named together doesn't mean they have a similar significance for humans. Our ancestors were probably killed by leopards and their relatives for millennia.
Taxtro exactly. The whole point of the video was to show that different big cats can act completely different
@@xpsaa5727 He was probably takimg care of them since they were little. Also as i said cheetas almost never attack humans cuz they're too small and are afraid of us. Also they are like big housecats.
It’s so interesting that even with the intent of affection, the means of approach is so deeply engrained it’s like they don’t know any other means of doing it. Fascinating behavior and lovely animals!
We are all influenced by instincts.
that’s what I was thinking like they approach like they bout to cause mass mayhem and even when they get right behind him it’s like they bout to strike and then they just give kisses lmao

I got to pet and meet a cheetah at the Miami zoo. They were doing a breeding program there because cheetahs were lacking in genetic diversity. But I remember thinking the cheetah reminded me more of a dog than a cat. She was super friendly and liked to lick and be petted.
That's A cheetah 🐆 for sure!
@@CheetahWhisperer There are cases when leopards killed people. Would a cheetah be strong enough to kill a human?
@@switch12345678 Yeah, 1000's of people have been killed by leopards since recorded time, but only a handful of humans killed by cheetahs. All were captive, though.
The Cheetah test surprised me with the result. Very cool that after a year of separation, he clearly remembered you. With fondness at that.
I had to laugh when he started grooming you. To him, we're probably like mostly furless, defective cheetahs.
So watching him try to groom your face was hilarious. He's just thinking to himself "Ah, poor thing still hasn't grown all his fur".
Interesting, tell me more
I don't think so, by that logic every other animal would just be a defective cheetah. :D
@@Tesoro1996 It's actually very likely the case. It's believed house cats see their owners as giant, clumsy cats, and when they bring you a dead bird/mouse/etc. they're trying to feed you because they think you're incapable X'D
There's multiple instances were it's believed animals see humans as defect versions of themselves.
@@Tesoro1996 Imprinting is another scenario where an animal can mistake it's, or a human's, race for being the same. It's actually pretty much proven at this point that given circumstances many animals can see humans as the same species or family.
