I got a surprise though when you showed the ball of wool, it has on the back, from Maxi Save 24 Bulwer St Maitland NSW….thats where I live, here in Australia!! Hi Georgina, i hope you're well. Your crochet projects look amazing - I can't believe you only started in January! Quick tip, when you're finishing a round in the granny square, once you've done a slip stitch into the last stitch, flip your work & slip stitch into the same ring where you will do your three double crochet stitches(cluster) to start the round . It gives the blanket a straight edge instead of them all being wonky. I used to wonder why my sides didn't sit right, then i learned to solve it through a tutorial.
Oh wow crochet is so more complicated than I was imagining 😂 I don’t think I’d be able to keep the consistency, I’d have mistakes everywhere

I can’t get it. It’s doesn’t look right when I’m at the point I chain three and then move onto the next hole. Seems like the shape is wrong, and I end up with a triple with a chain in the middle. Oh no.
