I have a Caterpillar dealer, not a mile and a 1/2 from my house.Sells every kind of cat product there is and they're not selling pick up Tracks, they said it's all a joke. Caterpillar isn't wasting There time on making a pickup truck.
Fair point! The rebadged truck from the past definitely left a mark, but let’s see if Caterpillar has learned from that experience. With this new pickup, they might surprise us and deliver something truly their own this time around. 🚛💪
@@TerrainKings right.. a rebadged F150 dressed in cat yellow paint. I doubt this truck will ever see market, and worse this entire video makes no sense in the fact that it compared engine power to interiors all the meanwhile flashing Silverado's here and there. I think this is nothing but a pile of AI malarky.
Smart move! Waiting to see how it performs in the real world is always a good idea. Early reviews and owner feedback will definitely give you a clearer picture before making the leap.
As of now, the 2025 Caterpillar Pickup Truck is not available in pink. However, it does come equipped with a sophisticated four-wheel drive system, featuring low-range gearing for navigating difficult terrain.
"The 2025 Caterpillar pickup truck is expected to range in price from $40,000 to $70,000." Nope! I'll buy a well-maintained pre OBD 3/4 ton 1975 or older.
Day dreams. I will believe it when I see it. If Cat did build these trucks, they would be over 100 K Also...all you need in a pick up is basic utility. All of that electronic crap that does this, that, & the other thing, is expensive repair problems in the making. No standard transmission is not available. A pipe dream. 2 Engines,, both V eights, & both gassers. Cat knows that an in line 6 cylinder diesel engine is the key to reliability. . I would bet that these trucks will NEVER come to dealers, but if they do, they will be over 100 K .
A truck needs to be versatile and do all things a car cannot. If you want a sedan buy a sedan. A sports car buy a sports car make a truck to be a truck
The opening shots of the video told me this is a rebadged Ford as subsequent versions told me, Chevy. What are they doing? Buying chassis-in-white from Ford and GM and then putting their own diesels in them? One series of shots show a BMW M Sport V-8 in the engine bay. A few subsequent shots show a Chevy logo on the grille and they floated a Cat graphic over the steering wheel hub where it covered either a Ford or Chevy logo. The body mods don't really hide the fact that they're either Ford or GM pickups. 4WD anyone? It isn't even mentioned. I think they would have been a little more honest if they'd have just announced the Cat diesel engine as an option for both the existing trucks built by Ford and GM. I wonder how they expect to compete with the Big Three and established buying patterns and do it at a profit. Tough row to hoe, but I wish them the best of luck.
No thank you! I had high hopes that Cat was going to provide a reasonably priced work truck. You lost me with the turbo, a great option to reduce the life of a gasoline engine. Then all of the gadgets and computerization, more stuff to break and even more money to fix. What are you selling a work truck, luxury automobile or an executive suite on wheels? As far as I'm concerned $40K is an outrageous price for a pick up truck.
I am questioning this truck. They can’t even spell “Tow” properly, what more mistakes are in the ad? Currently the 6.7 Liter is an inline 6. Please note:: I stopped viewing after the engine descriptions
Thanks for checking out the video! Everyone starts somewhere just getting this channel off the ground and excited to share more content. Appreciate the feedback and hope you'll stick around for what’s next! 🔥
Trucks aren’t made like they used to be. They have all kinds of weak points frame eventually rots out and way too many electronics that are irritating and pointless to have. Diesels that use def well that’s pointless too!! I’d be surprised if CAT made a tough truck but 70k yeah that’s rediculous. I could purchase a square body c10 convert the motor to a 24 or 12 valve Cummins and have a truck with a straight axle that would outlast and out do any new pickup and could be done not near 70k. Lol
AI Bull$hit! Too bad because the concept looks thrilling AND with a reputable company like CAT behind it would probably be a sought after product. American made would be a plus. They have a devout following and IF they ever pursued it, Ford, GM, Toyota and RAM would lose market share. I have a RAM, good truck BUT, I would grab a Cat
Actually, Caterpillar hasn’t officially announced it yet, but there’s been a lot of buzz and rumors about it. Guess we’ll have to wait and see if it becomes a reality!
Hall,,,,,Toe??!! Must be a scam/clickbait or ploy to test interest. If the vehicle is as ignorant as their spelling, it would be a giant smear against the great Caterpillar name and worldwide reputation!!
If it doesn't come in single cabin and 8 feet box, it's not for me....
I have a Caterpillar dealer, not a mile and a 1/2 from my house.Sells every kind of cat product there is and they're not selling pick up Tracks, they said it's all a joke. Caterpillar isn't wasting There time on making a pickup truck.
Truck 1 ton 4x4, manual AC POWER STEERING no bullshit electronics tied into ECU. Stereo.
8 foot bed v lub cab
Will it be as much money as a house? Pickups have gotten insane lately.
You're right; pickup truck prices have been on the rise.
All part of MAGA - Foreign brands have always been highly tariffed, I'm sure it will continue and we all pay for it.
It screams rebadged Ford. the last time Cat rebadged a truck, it turned into shitshow and people stopped buying them

Between 40,000 to 70,000 is not cheap in any way.
Did Cat say something about an 8,000.00 truck?
Maybe I dream it
Mack
There even higher up north u easy looking at 90,000
Sheesh they making a suv, lets see the first 2-3 years how the hold up then I might get one
Smart move! Waiting to see how it performs in the real world is always a good idea. Early reviews and owner feedback will definitely give you a clearer picture before making the leap.
50,000 is way plenty for a full package deal. Allows you to prove yourself.
I would buy one!
Sounds like a winner, powerful and affordable is hard to beat!
I'll believe it when I see a Cat Truck lot
It's a rebadged F150.
Good point! But Caterpillar says they’ve made some changes to make it their own. Let’s see how it holds up, it might be better than we expect! 🚛💪
HYPE
Since the video shows three very different pickups, these are probably computer renderings. Still the renderings appear to be rebadged.
Love it
I think they should send me one to test out put a fifth wheel in it to see how good it'll haul a fifth wheel toy hauler
Only 12000lbs towing
Does it come in “KingCab”?
This is the wrong time to get into the Truck selling business. Everything is overpriced and sales are very low.
Is it true or scam where can you buy one
Order placed. Stay tuned.
You'll be waiting a long time ,,they are not making this truck
Badass
They lost me with 4 doors I don't want a station wagon I want a truck Preferably with 2 doors and an 8 ft bed

What’s the most important feature you look for in a pickup truck; power, affordability, or something else? Let us know your thoughts below!
I wish I could get one.
Why does it look like a ford? Hopefully it will do better than the last truck that they tried to sell.
Smart move
I'M GETTING ONE
No long bed?
some of them photos are a Chevy ZR2

It’s the Caterpillar package. 😢
And it will cost 200k
Actually, the Caterpillar SUV is expected to start at $40K USD!
And 250 dollars and hour for labor to repair
I always wanted a truck that can toe. 😅
Radical
This DOES NOT exist and any video about it is AI only.
A truck needs to be versatile and do all things a car cannot.
If you want a sedan buy a sedan. A sports car buy a sports car make a truck to be a truck
Click bait CATFISHED
Ant no truck
If there the tuffest why would they pick a ford

If it doesn't at least come with a manual transmission it's not a true work truck.
My son works for a cat company here in Winnemucca. He said it's all a lie. They're not gonna make trucks. You're too cheap to make a pick up truck
I'd guess to say he's traveling regularly on Jungo road. On out to the Hycroft mine?
I am questioning this truck. They can’t even spell “Tow” properly, what more mistakes are in the ad? Currently the 6.7 Liter is an inline 6. Please note:: I stopped viewing after the engine descriptions
This is nothing but clickbait. "2 subscribers" says it all!!!!!!!
