This sport belt addition was a game changer for me! Super comfortable, you almost for get its there! well worth the cost for daily comfort. Thank you John for the review!
I take a rib belt and cut it lengthwise to give extra support when wearing clothes that don't use a belt. I use a holster that uses the UltiClip in order to keep it well attached to my waist line. It makes it really easy to take on/off in case I have to go into a gun free zone.
I know that it's a lot of money but everything in the gun world is. Great product and awesome help with videos and Facebook. This company really cares. Not sorry this is the way I went.
John, I’m a fluffier guy also. Been running the Enigma with Sport Belt for a year or so now. Have you had any issues with your sport belt “rolling” on you? Meaning-have you had your sport belt conform to your love handles and such? Mine is doing it and I’m trying to figure out a way to minimize it or reform it to its original shape.
You can fit the latest gen SOFT-T Wides in the 1.5" pass-thru pockets, or a spare magazine, but I found it uncomfortable for long term wear. Also, hey ASP folk, keep up the good work. Yall are awesome. 🖤
Come to the PHLster concealment workshop group and they might have some thoughts for you. facebook.com/groups/139735863409843 everyone over there is modifying to their specific needs!
Every time I remember that I want to order one to try out, they're out of stock. I tuck my shirt in at work so I'm concerned about it printing through and having to pass it off as a back brace. While it's nice that there are back pockets, it seems like anything that's thicker than a card will print. I wish PHLster had put their concealment workshop someplace that's not Facebook. Many people, myself included, will never use Facebook because of its many issues. Reddit has problems too but it's less data-hungry and more privacy-oriented than Facebook.
Anything to keep it canting in like a claw? Pad? Anything to reduce it digging into my Dunlop? You are putting out some of the internets best videos and reviews. Thank you.
Since it works differently and cambers the gun differently, you may find that you don't need wedges. You might, though. It's a very individual system. I don't use a wedge with an Enigma though I do with a belt holster.
I would have been all about this if I hadn't tried the NeoMag Alias. I loved the enigma and recommended it to friends and family, but I was tired of the leg strap. All those accessories you're mentioning is the reason I looked elsewhere. Eliminating the straps was key with the Alias
@@ASPextra I have both, the enigmas strongest part is also its weakest, which is the 2 belts. The waist belt needs more padding, reason you're making the video. The thigh belt, stock, is too thin and never stays put or snapped in place. I followed all the directions and that thing was most annoying. I used it because walking the dog in shorts or sweats were possible while carrying. The Alias doesn't have those belts. The belt is the strap of the pants your wearing, draw strings or belt.
Really? In 2 seconds of research I realized the neomag alias with the beltless receiver is nothing like this. It’s just another clip holster. If you wear the neomag with shorts or sweats that don’t have a Drawstring you’ll walk around always holding your bottoms up. If you have a drawstring and use it you will be cutting yourself in half from a tiny rope cutting at your waist all day…. May as well get a cheaper clip holster somewhere else…
I just ordered a Range Tech Shot Timer at the discounted price; I didn't think I'd be getting one for a long time. Maybe they should make the Enigma system a package deal at a more reasonable price to most of us.
I own a small holster company too, I’d close my doors if that was what I charged for something like this haha 😂 I’ve built a couple of these for a few customers, my version of it of course Lol I charged $100 bucks!! It’s a holster with a polymer or carbine stiff piece, elastic, 550 cord, and a holster. There’s no reason PHlster should charge this 🤷♂️ I’m still VERY appreciative for John but come on man!! Other John Lol I do like the wider strap tho, you could just add it from the start instead of selling it separately or just remove the 1-1.5 webbing and replace with the 4 inch.
Hey John, I run a lot and with the approaching winter the sunlight is getting shorter. I sweat about the same as Niagara Falls and I might as well be swimming, I run along a creek and have jumped I before, no difference swimming and how much I sweat, just smelled worse. I’m not trying to carry anything too heavy and that soft band looks like it would get gross on my run in about 3 minutes, which would make the other 1h57m a pretty gnarly chaffing experience. I run through tunnels, under overpasses, into unmonitored, no lighting, wooded area, now in the dark the second half of the run, just the way my schedule works. I strap on a Camelbak (rouge lite 70oz) and I has pockets. It's heavy enough as it is and is a slow reach. Compression shirt (it's like a 2nd skin that retain my sweat and keeps me cool) and super light shorts. I tried carrying a knife with me, but the mechanism rusted out within a month. Any ideas? I’m not trying to strap one to my waist, it'll get gross and need cleaning every day and it'll rub a hole through my waist.
I like you run quite a bit. Trying to get back in shape after a back injury. I don't run two hours though lol. I like in the swamps of Florida and run at the same time as you. Look into the hill people gear runners kit bag. I carry a j Frame in it. Still hasn't rusted and I sweat like a whore in church.
@@pauld5641 I've done it for so long now, I have an absurd amount of energy that not going, isn't an option. I have light weeks sometimes where I'll only get 35 miles done. Geez, talk about ‘don’t use ten words when five will do’ lol. After reading the book you wrote the only thing I can think of is one of those thigh holsters you see on some military and swat guys. I don’t see any other way with your aquatic environment.
@@jonmeray713 better? I wouldn't necessarily say better... But the strapt-tac belly band holster rig does a similar thing. Go to clinger holsters and get a cushion for the holster so it doesn't have to poke you. I have one and really like it
