    An easy way to concealed carry! You shouldn't have to make sacrifices when it comes to concealed carry. Just because you like to dress in comfortable clothes or athletic wear doesn't mean you should resort to less than ideal carry methods. Enter the Comfort Concealment Belt. This is a great way to carry concealed when wearing gym shorts, basketball shorts, sweats, sweatpants, or even your favorite Lulu Lemon leggings or tennis skirts. This is one of the easiest ways to concealed carry and I highly recommend it. Check out this review to see how to best configure it for every day carry without belt loops! Concealed carry made easy!
    For my RUclips manual reviewer: I am a certified instructor and range safety officer. This was safely filmed at a private range. This is an unmodified semi-automatic pistol in its factory configuration handled by a professional. For the love of god I'm following your rules. Just want to add an additional piece of advice for you all here. When clipping your belt over your waistband, how secure it is can depend on the material of your pants and the clips on your holster. I recommend something like Discreet Carry Concept Clips or an Ulti-clip to ensure everything stays in place 👍

    This is absolutely the belt system I was looking for. People love to praise the Phlster Enigma for non-belt loop carrying, but if I'm gonna bother strapping and clipping that thing to my waist I'm probably gonna prefer to just wear jeans and a belt. I want something I can strap on under my sweats when I'm going to pick up food, or walking the dog, and this seems quick and simple enough

      You can still go without the leg leash and they also have a quick magnetic buckle.
      Bit I did like the material he showed - being soft and sticky

    • @NightwoodGuns
      @NightwoodGuns  6 месяцев назад +11

      The Phlster Enigma is what I used before this. It’s just… a lot. It takes a committed person to bolt that on and be trapped in it all day 😂 If I had to quickly toss my gun on to run out the door I would toss my jeans on vs. the Enigma because I had to remove my shorts/sweats anyway. This is a great and simple option that keeps everything consistent 👍

      @@NightwoodGunsToo expensive. it's $194 stated on their website then shipping and tax brings it to $221. If you try to add even the $38 sports belt, it adds up to $259. also subscribed to their newsletter and constantly checked during blk Friday week and also checked during Christmas. No sales whatsoever. The last time they did sales was a year ago and I'm guessing they needed to get rid of inventory. They do have less holster options which is FACTS And you have to find a secondary compatible holster to run with their enigma 0S which needs assembling once it ships. Their enigma is $94 ~$100. All the holster companies that are compatible with the enigma have their holster starting at $80 and if it's light bearing, closer to $100. So essentially if you have a PDP with a light, you'll spend $100 on the holster and $100 on the enigma 0S which adds to at least $200. So after $200 plus, you still need to assemble and build your enigma when it arrives. So enigma Os, $200 plus and enigma express, $200 plus. Their holster should cost $130 max ($80 for the holster and $50 for the belt and grey face plate).

    For me, carrying in gym shorts or sweatpants usually meant sizing down from my P365 Xmacro with a 407K and TLR-7A to my plain P365X. It’s small and light enough to not drag my pants way down.
    The key for me has really just been to buy pants with strong waistbands and/or strong drawstrings. This usually lets me carry smaller handguns perfectly fine with no belt. I like all my holsters to have the DCC monoblock metal clips, those hold onto belts or plain fabric perfectly. Never had one slip off during a draw when belt-less.
    If I ever want to carry my xmacro (or even even a full sized shadow 2 if I hate myself enough that day!) I’ll throw my Nexbelt EDC belt underneath my pants and use it much like you did the belt in this video. It usually makes my waistline a little bulky so I may still give this belt a try and see how it helps with concealment. For $40 you really can’t go wrong!
    Thanks for the video, always look forward to an upload from ya!

    • @NightwoodGuns
      @NightwoodGuns  6 месяцев назад

      Right on, thanks for sharing your experience 👍 Like you said, the main draw of this is that it’s affordable compared to other belts. I just love how stupid simple it is and I don’t have to make sacrifices with what I can carry. For 40 bucks I’m very pleased 😎

    I use my same holster and my same Kore Essentials belt when when I wear bottoms without loops. The inside of the belt is comfortable enough on the skin and I wear my underwear up high anyhow so my belt is over that just like it is when I wear regular pants or shorts. No need for any specific belt for this. Use what already works with your pants. It's good that you mentioned putting the clips over the garment. Not onlu does it keep the waistband from riding up over the grip but it also keeps the whole belt and holster from riding up during the draw. This is why the enigma holster system from phlster needs a crotch strap.

    So this is right up my alley as most of the time when I'm carrying I'm usually wearing basketball shorts, or something similar without belt loops.
    The way I been carrying since day 1 is with a standard Grip6 Belt. I love the Grip6 Belt because it's durable and low profile. There is no velcro, ratchets, or clips where potential failure points can arise. It's simply just a nylon belt with a small metal buckle that uses friction to hold itself in place and you can make it as tight as you need. I wear this under my shorts just like you would with the Comfort Concealment Belt, but you can also wear it as a normal belt within your belt loops of your pants. I also have a Kore belt, and I honestly never wear it because the Grip6 belt hold my pants and gun just fine and is much more comfortable. It's also about just as much as the Comfort Concealment Belt.
    The only thing I would say is it would be nice to have some of the same gel like comfort in the inner part of the belt like the Comfort Concealment Belt, but I've been wearing the Grip6 for going on 5-6 years with no complaints (the same one every day).
    Also there are tons of different color buckles and belts so you can mix and match to your hearts content.

    When you mentioned "Harness", I immediately thought of my Enigma + floodlight2 setup. I personally like this because there's a "leash" which keeps the holster from riding higher, and there's no requirement of any clips. Also, Phlster has been so great in terms of providing support to their customer, and they have a wealth of knowledge around concealment.

    • @NightwoodGuns
      @NightwoodGuns  6 месяцев назад

      I’m glad you’ve been enjoying the channel! 😎👍 I carried the XC for over a year and now I’m carrying the Bul Armory SAS II TAC (another full size 2011) I should probably do a full video on my transition from micro carry guns to full size pistols… but short answer: it’s not for everyone and you won’t know if it’s for you until you try it. I experimented with cheap striker guns to find the right holster, shirts, and sweet spot on my body for full size concealment. When I started carrying 2011s I started with the C2 and graduated to the XC. So that would probably be the safe bet. But if you can play with something G19 size and something G17 size before committing, that would be the best case scenario before investing in a Staccato for carry. If you can’t do that, then I’d just recommend the C2 to be safe 👍

    If you wore the HC1 belt the same way, How would you compare 1 and the other? It seems like there are 4 main choices with price ranges that are massive quite spread. Some people use the HC1 as a under pants belts without beltloops just like the comfort concealment. It seems like the only belt you have not done a review on is the mastermind tactics covert belt.
    Since you have 3 of the 4 choices already with video reviews, might I suggest that you do a comparison review between the 4 choices for beltless carry? That would be $200+ enigma, $100+ HC1 belt, $40 comfort concealment belt, $25 mastermind tactics covert belt.
    I have tried all 3 except the comfort concealment belt, and my choice currently would be the enigma, and the super secret option... a smart carry with a kydex holster attached to it with DCC clips ;p Will give the comfort concealment belt a shot, and return for 5 dollar shipping if it doesn't work out for me. I found the HC1 belt too stiff at the front enough to dig into the front of my hip bones, not to mention it also required clips to show on the outside to have any form of retention. Though it would be the most versitile as it also works well as a regular belt. The enigma is the most comfortable, stable, and "serious" option. However its a not very adaptable, universal, versitile option, and is impractical to to don/off. The mastermind found dug into my hips from the side, tho many people love that belt and at such a cheap option. I found it wasn't well cushioned enough for the weight bearing load as compared to say a enigma with a sport belt. People also need to test these options while running and it may or may not work out for them. I see you did do some running in place though, that same feeling may be different for say a 5 mile run. Thanks for the reviews!

    Do you prefer this to the Tier 1 EDC-S for this purpose? Which would be better for carrying with a tucked in shirt? I’d like to avoid the holster clips showing on my belt with a tucked in shirt. Thanks!

    • @NightwoodGuns
      @NightwoodGuns  5 месяцев назад +3

      I also did an older video on carry with a tucked in shirt, but I might redo it with this belt. That being said, both belts would work just fine. I prefer the comfort concealment one for special use like this since it is purpose-built to be thinner/more comfortable. But the EDC-S/Hunter Constantine Belt can be used decently enough for this purpose and also excels as a normal EDC belt.
      Here’s how I would personally carry tucked in: comfort concealment belt under your pants, a holster with Discreet Carry Concepts “Gear” clips (whatever height your holster needs) and clip the clips over your pant line (over this belt) and hide the gear clips behind your dress belt, then tuck your shirt in over the gun/holster. That would give you a very secure setup while tucked in.
      Another option is the Phlster Enigma if you don’t mind being locked into a contraption.

    • @NightwoodGuns
      @NightwoodGuns  5 месяцев назад +2

      @@SMH365 The Velcro will eventually fail after a long time. But you’ll easily get your 40 bucks out of the belt way before that ever happens. That being said, the EDC-S is extremely overbuilt. Depends on how often it will be on/off and how hard you are on your gear. The EDC-S excels with belt loops but can be used without. The Comfort Concealment excels without belt loops, but can be used with.

      The Comfort Concealment is easier on/off, lighter weight and more comfortable. But it isn’t as sturdy and doesn’t do well in belt loops. It is purpose built to be worn how I demonstrated. The Hunter Constantine belt is more durable, sturdier, and works great with or without belt loops.
