Good quality, royalty free music is hard to come by. I do sincerely appreciate your feedback on the volume control. I will work more on that in the future. Thanks for watching!!
Nice production. Just a suggestion: Maybe match the music volume a little bit closer to the spoken volume. I had to turn down the speakers when the music parts were on. Keep up the good work. Subd
Just got the Goose Gear plate system and low profile sleeping system for my 5th Gen, couldn't find install instruction but your video was perfect, thanks guys, keep it up!
I just came across this video. Wouldn't it be a good idea to state why your products exists...what function it performs right up front? Looks like well made stuff anyway.
Thanks guys for this awesome instructional video. From your experience, do you think instead of 80mil dynamat if I installed 150mil it would still fit the carpet and the plate? Or will 80mil be max thickness?
Hmm these are nice but price tag is ugly! Ouch! But if you include installing it for me at no extra cost then it's probably worth the price. So do you all install it at no extra cost?
Anything underneath that needs to be supported when removing these bolts? I had seen a video where they had to jack something up underneath that comes loose.. older models maybe. Was going to install this platform, pretty expensive for plywood
There is nothing wrong with the music. It’s fine, it just doesn’t need to be there. I’m a musician, so obviously I like music, but in the case of a how to video, I prefer silence. Also, what does this product do? I just got a 4Runner, and I was looking at accessory videos, but I don’t see the function of this product.
That's a great question. Primarily it allows you to mount things to the plate such as a slide for drawers or a fridge. Some like it because it's similar to a bed liner in a truck.
The rear anchoring system looks pretty weak, especially if the plate is used as a base to mount heavy boxes. I know it's how it comes from GG and not your design.
My 2014 4Runner Trail has the slide out tray. Do you know if the Goose Gear full length system with the second row seat delete will work with the slide out tray removed?
I see you lose a set of anchors. Has anyone here seen a set that will work with setup? Maybe I don't need them after the install, but I use my OEM ones today.
Does this base plate level the hatch area, or is it only used for attaching drawer/ storage systems? Will stacking two plates create a level sleeping surface and is this even doable?
Can you post a link to the roll of Dynomatt ? I can only find small sheets of it. Can I just reuse the strofoam instead or do you not recommend that? Thanks
The rear plat system wont take too long. Probably a few hours, maybe more if you're new to it. Either way it's not difficult. In terms of sound mat, we typically use Noico 80mil and buy the 36 sqft package off of Amazon.
Looks like a Blue Ridge Overland Gear 4Runner Attic: www.blueridgeoverlandgear.com/4Runner-Attic-p/21fr5at-1.htm I have one and love it, highly recommend it to anyone with a 4Runner.

Why does everyone insist on playing loud crappy music throughout their videos?!

Nigel Naughton Thank you sir! All suggestions are much appreciated!! Thank you for that!!

Good stuff, dump the annoying music

We're going to be looking into this for our build. Thanks for the video!
Awesome!! Glad you liked the video!!! Feel free to reach out if we can help you with anything!!
Curious, did you put the syrofoam back in before the carpet?
Was hoping this was answered as well

Allows you to mount up all the Goose Gear storage system stuff, like drawers and slide out fridge trays.
Excuse my question.. but, why would someone need that? I just have my weathertech mat.
You build on the plate.. installing a double drawer system or a rail system for a fridge/cooler

Good video. The music is nuts. WTH?

Am I missing the purpose of this? Is it just to remove the carpet? I don’t understand.
Allows you to mount a fridge & stove slide as well as drawer system etc
What is the sound system and subwoofer you are running? Noticed a custom subwoofer on the passenger side.
zzsoccer33 That is actually from the factory. Limited trim.

Even if it did it would be much much cheaper to build your own platform

We use Noico, which can be found on Amazon. This is the link: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00URUIKAK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
1) Which Dynamat product did you use?
2) Is the plate pre-drilled for Goose Gear drawers?
TIA
We use Noico 80mil for sound deadening. The Goose Gear plate are pre-drilled and have captured nuts mounted inside them for attachment points
How long do you think it would take one one person to install this? And how much sound mat did you have to buy?
The rear plat system wont take too long. Probably a few hours, maybe more if you're new to it. Either way it's not difficult.

What is the plate made of?
3/4" birch wood applied with sprayed-on layers of what is effectively bedliner/rhinoliner...for extra durability.
@@mattytreks $700 is a lot for a piece of plywood that’s painted.
What brand of cargo net is that hanging from the top?

Can this be installed with out taking out he styrofoam?
Yes it can. It may require you to trim the foam a bit but it will still work with the foam

@@mattytreks I was thinking of doing that if the Goose Gear one is the same thing, but with a brand...
What bumper is that? That's exactly what I'm looking for.

Will this work on my 5th agenda LE if I remove the 3rd row seats? Thanks
These plate systems are vehicle specific
PLEASE... balance music volume with the speaking volume!!! So aggravating to adjust volume each and every time the music cuts in or out.
Thank you for the feedback John! I have been working on this and it will improve in the future
music too lound and your voice too quite
scare the hell out of me
Horrid music
