Good video. I found however it is a lot easier to put the complete shelf together, then to raise it up in place. Then you only have the tight access to attach the 12 screws that mount to bracket on the side panels.
Just picked a set of these during black friday. Love that 4runner wrap color! I'd be interested in seeing what you guys put on there next. Looking forward to it.
So I bought this shelf but the shelf holder was marked L & R I followed your instructions the right side was off , then I put the pair holder marked L to left and R to right and everything went perfect , so I am not sure why you switch them tho unless they change some of their fitments , but I do appreciate the video and beautiful rig you have 👌
Looking good. Does the shelf end right above the headrests, or further back? I am thinking there's gotta be a way to fabricate a grate that closes off the cargo area (for a dog). I'm wondering if the shelf ends right above the headrests, then this should be doable. I don't see that Rago makes such a product, but a custom grate connecting headrest posts to shelf should do it. Thanks
I believe that Rago said you can put it lower that's why their panels have the different holes. You'd obviously just have to worry about field of view, weight, etc.
@@Runnin4Tacos hey man another quick question are any part of your brackets (touching) sitting on the curve of the headliner at all? or did you set the pitch of your panel to be further from the window?
Okay, I got a weird question. I'm trying to make an "office" in the back of my 4Runner. Where the rear window are, I want to mount a large 27" computer monitor (24" across, 27" diagonal). Thoughts on best way to mount this?
I would get an articulating mount and use the same bolts that this kit has (I mean, you can find matching at any Lowes/HomeDepot). But you can find a VESA articulating mount for that size and just bolt it straight through the holes on this panel.
I noticed the OEM Audio sub. How do you like it ? Do you recommend or suggest something different? Do you have just the sun or all the speakers replaced?
I would recommend as well. Their customer support is great too. My only concern is how much noise the rack makes with the sub right there? Does it rattle?
Not at all. They fit together nice and tight. There is minimal, if any sound. Obviously you might get rattling depending on what gear you secure to them though..
love the fact that you have a military discount on your page that puts the price to Rago's price before their 10% military discount, which drops it $77 less than your price......thanks for the "discount"
9:49 this is the only video on the internet that tries to explain this step properly. Support from manufacturer is nonexistent. Thank you!
Good video.

Why am I watching install videos at 2am for things I already have bought and installed....
Haha because you support us and we appreciate it! 🙏
Hey, thats weird. Me too.
I’m watching and I don’t even have a 4Runner 😂😂
Ordered mine during black friday under $600 shipped!
Awesome video! Very detailed and professional. I will be ordering my set soon
Awesome slow install video. Thank you!
Wow I haven’t worn a jacket in 3 yrs 😐 Awesome Vid

Thanks! Will keep them coming
How much was this on black friday
Hey, looks great, just wanted to know how much it gets in the way of using the rear view mirror. Does it block your view in any way?
Awesome installation

with a jointed shelf do they some how protect the bolts in the center so gear doesn't get caught on it?
They are pretty flush and we haven't had anything get caught
Wonder how well this would work in a SR5 with the 3rd row
If you have a small dog you can hang a hammock from the shelf for the ultimate overland bed.
Yes haha they are pretty strong
Hows the view when installed at the highest level. Is some vision limited fromt he rear virw mirror?
That's sick!
Is it possible to install the shelf without the front lip? I know it is a safety thing but will only have pillows up there anyways.
Hey, do you get any rattle from the subwoofer?
I wish 4runners weren't so expensive!!
I wish mods weren’t so expensive. I have a 4runner but don’t have the funds to go crazy with all these mods I want. Lol
Sorry this is not related to this video but do you have the front camera & Rigd back-up installed?
Not yet, been lazy but we plan on to
Would you be able to still utilize the third row. or do you think this hangs down too far?
What is the height from the storage panel floor to the ceiling for storing things?
I guess the only negative would be trying to clean those rear windows?
Yeah but if you use the panels then it'll be blocked anyways
are these made out of steel or aluminum?
Steel
Awesome video! What spare tire rack is that?
Can the shelf go lower to be even with the top of the back seat?
No sir
I believe that Rago said you can put it lower that's why their panels have the different holes. You'd obviously just have to worry about field of view, weight, etc.
How do you back out the back side windows?
Hey Taco, those spare brackets for panel. Can you use for somethinelse?
Do they make it in aluminum
Does your panel sit flush or square (completely against) the face of the rear back spacers?
Yes
@@Runnin4Tacos hey man another quick question are any part of your brackets (touching) sitting on the curve of the headliner at all? or did you set the pitch of your panel to be further from the window?
Does it rattle?
It does not
So once the window panels are installed, you can't use the retractable cover for the rear of the 4runner correct?
Correct. The brackets attach where it used to be.
Correct
Thanks! Great video/channel btw!
Where did you get the bottle opener
Its comes with the panel
how well does it work with the 3rd row seating?
It works
Shit I’m late but no it doesn’t!! It can seriously harm someone in a crash or probably just regular driving. It says it on its website
Thanks for the vid.
I’m curious would this fit a 2019 rav4? Does anyone know I’ve looked around and it seems like there isn’t anything for one.

Is panel come in a pair, both left and right?
You can choose. We have a direct link in the description
Gotta remove those side panels for the shelf now😅😅
What the air compressor hose in the back?
It's the QuikFlate system.
links do not work
What did you use or how did you paint the Fender Flares? Thx! Appreciate It!
We took it to the paint shop
I noticed the OEM Audio sub. How do you like it ? Do you recommend or suggest something different? Do you have just the sun or all the speakers replaced?
It's a well thought out system, I would recommend them for sure.
I would recommend as well. Their customer support is great too. My only concern is how much noise the rack makes with the sub right there? Does it rattle?
Does that top shelf work with other molle panels from other companies?
I don't think so
how noisy are the panels when driving?

Show the finished look in your videos
It's at the beginning of the video
What subwoofer is that?!
That’s the OEM Audio Plus Subwoofer System included in their full kits (oemaudioplus.com)
OEM Audio Plus
Can you assist me on where I can find and order the reinforced bracket so I can mount my shelf? Thank you in advance.
If you're quicksand gang commend down before!
What straps do you use to tie items down?
Velcro straps
✌️✌️✌️✌️
🤣🤣🤣 expensive AF
Horrible instructions! You should have told us at the beginning to not install these if we are doing the shelf!!! wow
feed "it" what is "it" is "it" the left or right bracket? come on...
