    Ohhh yeah man, watching this is veeeery satisfying to my detailer OCD. Wet sanding and finishing out with 5000 and even 8000 grit is one of the semi-secrets to flawless paint correction done very fast and efficiently. But using high quality sandpaper/discs is critical, and it doesn't get much better than 3M. You save money in the long run with durable long lasting paper and fast working time! Cannot recommend these products enough. 👍👌✌

    What do you recommend after sanding a clear epoxy resin table for high gloss finish?

    • @jonathanthomas7059
      @jonathanthomas7059 2 года назад +1

      This whole system works great on epoxy resin to bring it back up to high gloss. Wet sanding from 320 up to 5000 in increments will give you a better finish than stopping at 2000. I like using Mirka abranet mesh sanding disks and then trizact 3000 and 5000 pads before the 3M compound process then do as the video shows with steps 1, 2, and 3. Works great! Thorough and even sanding throughout the process is a must however to achieve a consistent perfect finish but this is an amazing system!

    Having a hard time with this system. Been doing this for a long time, never have I had such difficulty with a buffing system . I can compound the sand scratches out but when I polish it's not getting rid of compounding scratches. I usually compound with a 2 sided 3m superbuff wool pad thought that might be it switched to 3m foam pad same problem. Is there a difference in the quick connect foam pads as opposed to the older style 3m foam pads I normally use? Any help would be great!
