Before you turn the replies section into Reserved VS General War, it's just my POV as a General Student. Loved the podcast and if you are reading this I hope you are able to cope up with the hate. The issue here isn’t about reservations or hate but about principles. Charisma and personality don’t always equate to ethical behavior. For centuries, charm has been used as a tool for deception and fraud. Take Vijay Mallya and Nirav Modi, for example. They may have had rich charisma , aura and persuasive language, but these qualities were masks for unethical practices. Such behavior, especially from a young age, is a dangerous path to adopt. It’s like littering by tossing a single Pepsi can onto the road. At first, it may seem insignificant - just one can. But over time, that “one” can turns into a pile of trash, and the problem snowballs. It is not a good thing to just let things just slide especially with such reasoning as - "he speaks well". Oh and yes. It does matter. Passing CAT with 99 percentile is not a joke. And running around flaunting with a 93 by underpinning the reality is truly pathetic.
Bro, keep you love aside. Think from this perspective that would you like to hire a guy for you firm who has the audacity to lie to an entire nation. Can't he lie to you. People of such types are called "Bakchod" in daily language and he is doing bakchodi in English. That's it
it really matters, most of the influencers after this stage starts selling their courses and training sessions, if he has not achieved some decent score, he has no reliability to claim about 99 percentile. And pls dont defend his fake claims and lies, he hasnt done anything good.

Guys I have a normal message for you all. Everyone is different, everyone has different mindsets, everyone have different academics, everyone have different families and surroundings. So Im trying to say that, after watching any podcast or any toppers video don't compare yourself with others its only going to kill your self confidence and demotivating you. As an MBA aspirants I used to watched alot of toppers videos, podcasts, etc. And ended up with got less confident and I doubt my capabilities. But now I am fine doing my best for CAT, just don't believe any hoax news. Remember one thing they are not going to change you life only you will. 🙏
Amiya Sir's post on linkedin exposed him regarding CAT percentile which is actually 93.47%ile as opposed to 99.47%ile which he states here. Also, even TAS has reservation which makes it much easier if you are from SC/ST quota people to get through. Not against reservation perse but the audacity of people to fake and in turn fool people has to be taken seriously. PS: Always had a gut feeling that bro isnt legit, the way he flaunts on Linkedin!

Hi Kushal, do you have any idea what is the package of IIM candidates after 5 to 10 years? I think this has not been covered in the video. Just wanted to check if IIM candidates and CAs get same salary after 10 years (I heard this in a webinar conducted by ICAI).
On an average I would say IIM candidates would earn more than CAs in 5-10 years. Exceptions on both sides are always there, but generally pay scale difference is prevalent more so in 5-10 years frame
I mean not all the CA are earning high end if you see the stats even CA's are unemployed and that too more than MBA students who are pass out from IIM's having said that the salary of an IIM candidate will be slightly higher I have also seen some CA's earning in crores while other CA's are jobless

there are CAs who earn in crores like Motilal Oswal, Raamdeo Agarwal, Hirandani, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, Birla, Anil Singhvi etc but most CAs are not looking at earnings but rather about having a good fulfilled life. So they end up in practice. Many often are in top positions in companies. Also your MBAs work in corporate which needs a CA to get its FS audited. Even PM has no power to sign an audit report. Same for CS who sign compliance reports. There are people with zero degrees for whom MBAs work for and vice versa. So basically this talk about earning is stupid. People have different aspirations. An experienced CA can earn more if he wants to but doesn't want to . That is often the reality. The stress is very high. So they don't go for it. Already they might have spend years trying to pass CA.
