When I got started with hw. I didn't have much money to put into a hobby. So one day on the way to the store. I passed a body shop.
I've known this guy for 35 years. I stopped and told him what I was doing. And I could use some scraps of sand paper. Witch he gave me. But, and here's my point. He gave me some used red and green sanding pads.
OMG, game changer.
Give it a try at a body shop near you. You will never use steal wool every again. I promise you r gonna love it.
My body shop guy keeps a box for me.
And his worker's put there good used stuff in it. I now have so much.
But I can't stop going to his place. I give it away to people that need it.
It'll save you money. And you make a new friend. Win, win...
Iv used Scotch-Brite red and green pads in the past to prep my bmx bikes for paint in my father in laws shop back in the day I picked up the that pack of steal wool like five months ago when I couldn’t find any at the store and have just been using it but once I’m out I’m gonna start using Scotch-Brite
