Water is fine with fine grid sand paper and the compound, you don't need coke, however acetone work when used to steam in a coke can.. Coke isn't used for everything. Hahaha
Drilling the metal body cars while you hold them is no big deal, hard to accidentally stab through metal. its the plastic body ones you have to look out for
The new installed axles are to wide and should be shortend! Those outstanding axleends looks ugly. The original axleslots should be closed for a cleaner look.
yes I did say that in the video that they should be trimmed I just didn't want to do that because it was an example just for the video, I suppose you could use the original axles too but I opted not too
I realize that this video is a way of teaching. But you should at least show the correct way instead of just saying what to do. Like the cutting of the axles with a Dremel tool, show that example..: show how it’s supposed to look… this video just shows how lazy you can be. If you want to show content . Show it… I might even follow you just to see what’s going on…

How did you attach the truck body back on the the chassis? Did you just glue it??
for the video I just set it in place but normally I would make some threads and then screw it all back together
